30 year old Kai and 31 year old Skylor are in their home making dinner when they hear fighting coming from the playroom.

"Hey give that back!" They hear a young boy say.

"I had it first!" A little girl's voice echoed.

"No you didn't! Give it back!" The boy's voice shouted.

Kai and Skylor stopped what they were doing and went to the playroom to see what was up. They spotted their six year old daughter, Amber, standing up on a chair holding a stuffed red dragon trying to keep her three year old brother, Blake, from reaching it.

"Kids what's going on here?" Kai asked them firmly.

"Amber took my ragon!" Blake told them screaming.

"Well he took it from me first!" Amber argued pointing at her brother.

"Did not!" Blake yelled.

"Did too!" Amber protested.

"Come on you two knock it off." Skylor said trying to calm them down.

"Blake started it!" Said Amber as she pointed to her brother.

"Did not!" Blake said back.

"Did too!" Amber claimed.

"I don't care who started it, I'm ending it!" Said Kai yanking the stuffed dragon from Amber's hands and lifting her off the chair. "Now go wash your hands. It's time for dinner."

"Yes Daddy" Amber and Blake said in unison as they walked out of the room with their heads down.

"Uhh they are worse than me and Nya when we were that age." Kai said to his red haired wife.

"You seem a little on edge. Is everything ok?" Skylor asked her husband.

"Yeah I'm fine." Kai reassured her. "I guess I'm just a little nervous about meeting up with everyone tomorrow."

"We haven't seen them since Amber was born. I'd thought you'd be more excited to see everyone." She replied.

"I am, but Lloyd said he wanted to talk about something important. From my experience, that doesn't usually mean good news." Kai said sadly.

"I'm sure he just wants our kids to meet each other. He's got a son of his own to look after too." Skylor said excitedly. "Plus Jay and your sister are coming. The kids finally get to meet their cousins."

"I haven't seen the twins since right after they were born. I'm not even sure they remember me." Kai recalled.

"Then that just means that Jax and Lily will be excited to see their uncle Kai." Skylor said putting a hand on his shoulder.

"You always know just what say." Kai said, smiling at his wife.

They heard Amber's voice come in from the bathroom sounding worried.

"Mom! Dad! Come quick!" She yelled from the bathroom.

Worried that something was wrong, Skylor and Kai run into the bathroom to see Amber freaking out and shaking her hands.

"Amber what's wrong sweetheart?" Skylor said kneeling down in front of her daughter.

"I don't know mommy. I can't feel my hands." Amber answered worryingly.

"Is she ok?" Kai asked picking Blake up in his arms who was scared by his sister's screaming.

"I know what's happening. The same thing happened to me when I first got my powers." Skylor answered her husband and then turned back to her daughter. "Honey it's ok. It'll be fine in a few minutes."

"Ok Mommy." Amber said sounding less worried. "Why is this happening?"

Skylor smiled and answered, "Well I think you might be getting Mommy's elemental powers sweetie."

"Really?" Amber questioned, now more excited then she was scared.

She and her brother had been told stories of the adventures her mom and dad had. Blake was too young and didn't have the attention span to remember a lot of them, but Amber was older and smarter then her silly little brother.

"I think so." Skylor said comforting her daughter.

"You ok sweetheart?" Kai asked his daughter.

"Yeah, it feels better Daddy." Amber smiled, knowing that she was the center of attention for her parents.

"Good. I'm glad." Kai said relived.

"Dada? Is sissy ok?" Blake asked looking at Kai.

"Yes Blake, you're sister's going to be fine." Kai said smiling at the fact that even at 3 years old, his son was concerned about his sister.

"Yay!" Blake shouted with excitement.

Kai couldn't help but smile at his son.

"Mommy, when do I get those cool new powers?" Amber asked her mom, now bouncing with excitement.

"It's going to take a while sweetie, you just have to be patient." Skylor told her calmly.

"Awe but I want them now!" Amber screamed stomping her feet.

Skylor stared over at Kai and shot him a look as if to say 'she gets that from you.' Kai just smiled and shrugged his shoulders, knowing there was no denying it.

"I hungy Dada." Blake screamed pulling at Kai's shirt.

"Ok ok. Let's go get you some food." Kai said as he put his son down.

"Yay!" Blake screamed with excitement as he bolted for the kitchen.

"Are my girls gonna be ok?" Kai asked Skylor and Amber.

"We'll meet up with you in a second." Skylor called out to her husband.

"Ok." Kai said as he headed back into the kitchen to feed Blake.

Blake was trying to climb into his high chair when Kai got there. He picked him up and put him in the high chair.

"Dank you Dada." Blake giggled as he got into his chair.

Kai smiled at his son as he laid a plate of chopped up noodles in front of him. He was old enough to feed himself, but he was too young to realize the embarrassment of his parents feeding him. Kai missed doing this with Amber, and since Skylor had made it clear multiple times that Blake was their last baby, he was going to enjoy every moment he could with his little boy while he was still little.

"Open wide, here comes the airplane!" Kai said with a smile as he put some of the noodles on a fork and pretended it could fly. He 'flew' it into his son's mouth making airplane noises.

"More! More!" Blake demanded as Kai put more noodles on the fork and repeated the process.

Skylor and Amber walk back into the kitchen to see Kai feeding Blake. This wasn't unusual, though Amber always thought it was embarrassing for both her dad and her brother. Skylor would usually just giggle at her boys having fun together.

"Mommy, why is Daddy so embarrassing?" Amber asked her mother.

"At least he's not feeding you like that anymore." Skylor joked.

"True." Amber said as she sat down at the table, grabbing the plate of noodles and a pair of chop sticks. She could now fully feel her hands again.

Later that night, the kids had been given their baths and been put to bed. So Skylor and Kai were talking in the bedroom.

"So Amber has powers now." Kai said to Skylor.

"I guess she does." Skylor said sounding slightly disappointed.

"You ok babe?" Kai asked.

"Yeah, it's just now that Amber has powers, she needs to start her training." Skylor sighed.

"But her powers won't fully come in for a couple years right?" Kai asked.

"Yeah, but what if she wants to do something else with her life?"

"Then we let her choose." Kai said putting a hand on her shoulder. "We make our own destinies remember?"

"Hey those were my words!" Skylor joked.

"I know." Kai smiled as Skylor nudged him in the arm. "You know, you were great today."

"What?" Asked Skylor confused.

"With Amber when she couldn't feel her hands." Kai reminded her. "I'm glad I'm not doing this alone." He smiled.

"Me too" Skylor smiled back.

"Good night babe." Kai said as he kissed his wife on the cheek.

"Night." Skylor said.

They got into bed and went to sleep.
