This chapter is really short, but I hope you like it and I'll try to get another chapter out either later today or tomorrow. Oh and it takes place a year after the last Llira chapter. Enjoy!

Lloyd's P.O.V.

Kira and I had been dating for about a year now and today I was planning to ask her to be my yang. I was really nervous yet excited. It was going to be a surprise for her so I had a plan ready, but first I had to make sure Ryder was ok with it.

"Hey bud, I need to ask you something." I asked my son as I walked into his room and set down next to him on his bed.

"What is it Daddy?" He asked.

"You know how Miss Kira and I have been going out for a while now right?" I asked and he nodded. "Well, what would you say if Miss Kira became your new mom?"

"YES YES YES YES YES!!!!" His eyes lit up and he jumped up out of the bed.

"Alright alright." I laughed. "I'm planning to ask her tonight, but it's supposed to be a surprise and that means you can't tell her."

"You want me to lie?" Ryder looked up at me.

"You're not lying, you're just keeping a secret, which is fine as long as it's for a good reason." I told him.

"Oh, ok." He agreed.

"Alright, here's the plan..."

Kira's P.O.V.:

Lloyd and I had been dating for a few months now and I was the happiest I've ever been. Growing up without a family for so long, I saw Lloyd and Ryder as my new family. Lloyd and I even talked about getting married, but I didn't want Ryder to be uncomfortable with that.

When I told Lloyd about it, he agreed to take me on a date with Ryder so we can see how he does around me. So I was at the bounty to meet Lloyd and Ryder. I knocked on the door and to my surprise Ryder answered it.

"Hello miss Kira." He said to me.

"Hey Ryder." I smiled. "You ready for a fun day with me and your dad?"

"Yeah!" He exclaimed.

"Ryder! I told you I would get it." I heard Lloyd say. Then I could see him in the doorway.

"Oops. Sorry Daddy." Ryder apologized.

"It's ok bud." He said patting Ryder on the head. "Go get your stuff."

"Ok Daddy." He said running into his room. I giggled a little.

"Sorry about that." Lloyd apologized. "He's just really excited."

"No need to apologize." I smiled. "He's adorable."

"Yeah sometimes kids are just too cute to be mad at you know?" He smiled.

"Yeah." I laughed.

Ryder came back with his backpack and he looked so excited. He knew we were taking him to the park, then for ice cream and then the arcade so of course he was excited.

"Ok Daddy I'm ready to go!" He exclaimed.

"Alright son lets go." Lloyd said.

"Yay!" Ryder exclaimed.

I couldn't help but giggle at how adorable he was. Lloyd had told me everything about how his ex-wife treated him and his son in the past and I couldn't believe how anyone would so heartless to hurt their own child like that. I would be so lucky to have a son like Ryder, or any children of my own. I couldn't imagine what he must've been through, but I was just glad that Ryder could be happy now.

Then Lloyd's phone began to ring.

"Oh sorry, I better take this." Lloyd said as he looked at me. "Do you mind watching Ryder for a sec?"

"Sure no problem." I agreed and Lloyd went to take his call. "Hey Ryder, how are you doing?"

"I'm excited." He said.

"I can see that." I laughed.

Then Lloyd came back and he was frowning. It made me worry.

"Well I got some bad news." Lloyd said. "I've been called on a last minute mission so I can't go out today."

"Awe that's too bad." I frowned.

"Awe." Ryder frowned as his whole body began to droop.

"I'm sorry bud, maybe we can go out another time." Lloyd tried to cheer him up.

"If you want, I can take him out instead." I offered.

"Well if you don't mind that would be great." Lloyd said. Then he turned back to his son. "Ryder, would you like to spend the day with Kira instead?"

"Yay!" Ryder exclaimed as he hugged me.

"Have fun and be good for miss Kira ok Ryder." Lloyd said to him.

"Ok. Goodbye Daddy." He waved.

"Goodbye son."

Lloyd gave me money for Ryder and then he formed his dragon and flew off to wherever he was going. Then I formed my dragon and Ryder looked impressed by it.

"You have a dragon too?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I'm an elemental master too you know." I said. "Is it ok if we travel by dragon?"

He smiled and nodded as I helped him onto my dragon. Then we flew off to the park. I helped him off my dragon and we ran to an open field, then Ryder took a toy drone out of his backpack.

"My dad bought me this cool drone." Ryder told me.

"Wow, that's cool." I said. "Do you know how to fly it?"

"No, my dad was gonna teach me, but he's not here." Ryder frowned.

"I can teach you." I offered.

"Really? Yay!" He exclaimed as he hugged me. "Thank you Miss Kira."

"No problem Ryder." I smiled and picked up the remote. "Ok let's see what we have here."

I helped him figure out the controls on his drone and pretty soon he was flying it around the whole park. He was having an awesome time and I was too. I've always wanted to be a mom, but I just never had the time to settle down and meet someone, that is until I met Lloyd.

Once we were done at the park, Ryder got hungry so I took him to the ice cream shop. I got a vanilla cone and Ryder got chocolate with sprinkles. He seemed to like it.

"Are you having fun Ryd?" I asked him.

"Oh yeah, this day has been awesome." He smiled and kept licking his ice cream cone. "My mother never took me to do things like this."

"Well I'm glad you don't have to worry about that anymore." I said.

"Yeah, and if you wanted to be my new mom, that would be ok with me." Ryder smiled and winked at me. This little boy was obviously up to something.

"Did your father tell you to say that?" I wondered.

"No I mean that." He said.

"Well thank you Ryder that means a lot to me." I smiled.

"Do you have a family?" Ryder asked me.

"Well I did but that was a long time ago. I consider you and your dad as my family now." I told him. "Are you ok with that?"

He put down his ice cream cone and then he hugged me. I took that as a yes and smiled. I loved Lloyd and Ryder so much and I feel like they are part of my family now. And who knows, maybe one day they actually will be.

We finished our ice cream cones and then I took Ryder to the arcade. Most of the games I let him win and by the time we were out of tokens, we had won enough tickets to get Ryder the giant stuffed dragon he wanted. I was happy that I could win it for him.

I was about to take Ryder home when I got a text from Lloyd saying that he was done with his mission and I could bring Ryder home.

I took Ryder back to the bounty and then I took him inside. I couldn't believe my eyes. There stood a trail of flowers leading to Lloyd wearing his adorable green tuxedo. I couldn't believe I was so oblivious! Ryder had been dropping hints the entire day!

"Kira, I love you and I have since the moment I saw you." Lloyd smiled and got down on one knee, pulling out a Ying-Yang medallion and handing half to me. "Kira, will you be my yang?"

"YES! Yes yes yes!" I exclaimed and hugged him.

As he pinned the medallion on me, Ryder ran into my arms with the biggest smile on his face. I think he was happy that I said yes.

"Hey buddy, guess I can call you son now right?" I looked at him.

"Only if I can call you Mom." He smiled.

"Deal." I laughed.

This was the best day ever! I was so happy to finally be apart of a family again.
