Hey guys. Sorry I didn't get to post one yesterday, I tripped and practically face planted into the pavement at school and I was in pain most of the day so I just didn't feel like writing or doing anything I didn't have to. I feel a lot better today and luckily I didn't end up with a broken nose so that's the bright side I guess.

Anyway I wanted to announce that due to my school schedule, I will now be not posting any reviews on Tuesdays or Thursdays. I'll make an announcement on my page as well but I would like to focus and graduate as soon as possible. I hope you understand. Anyway the reviews!

Plot: They open with a flashback where Master Wu tries to teach a lesson through dance. Jay and Nya take the floor with their ballroom style dancing. Afterwards, we cut back to Nya chasing after Jay in the city center, but she loses him in the crowd. She runs back to get Lloyd's help, but Nya believes she's paranoid because she misses him so much. Arin keeps focusing on the mystery surrounding the Matriarch's death and takes Riyu to look around for clues. Riyu tracks a scent to a dead end, but Arin discovers a mysterious symbol on the wall. Frak runs into them and invites them back into the city. They run into Wyldfyre who has a run in with Roby and tries to play it cool, but does a horrible job, and Roby invites her to check out the arena. Cole runs into Geo and they start checking out the city. They find a mech that belonged to a previous master of Earth, and Cole thinks it was his mother. Sora tries to get to through to Jordana but she has no memory of what happened at the banquet. Sora watches them as Frak joins Jordana and Nokt. Sora reports it to Arin, who doesn't believe her. The ninja gather at the arena for the first match where Zane and Zur go up against each other. Lloyd tries to coach him through but someone sabotages it, making Zane lose. But the next match pins Nya up against Jay. Nya tries her best to get through to him, but nothing works. They keep fighting until Jay pulls out a wolf mask and Ras rings the gong. Jay fights Nya and she can't bring herself to fight him back until he does Shatterspin, forcing Nya to use rising dragon. She makes her way up the tower and grabs the dagger. After she gains Jay's powers, she tries again to talk some sense into him, but Jay blows her off.
Meanwhile Kai and Bonzle find out that only 3 of the five are actually trapped with them. And they have communication with one on the outside. They walk up to her body and notice that Kai has dragon scales from Riyu stuck to him and Bonzle thinks they can communicate with Riyu somehow. Back at the tournament, Riyu starts hearing Kai's voice in his head.

Things I enjoyed:

- I love Cole's season one reference!

- That flashback at the beginning was absolutely perfect!

- I love all the flashbacks of Arin and his parents.

- Riyu trying to eat Frak's pie! 😂

- Wyldfyre's first crush thing is so cute!

- Is it just me or did Cole and Geo just go on a date! (If so, YAY! Good for them 😊)

- When Nya saw Jay it was so much better than expected! The fight was actually so exhilarating!

- When Jay pulled out that wolf mask I seriously wanted to cry.

- I love the added detail where the new ninja were cheering for Nya and the OG ninja were sad because they lost Jay.

- Well, at least Nya finally said "I love you" I just wasn't expecting Jay's words after that. 😳 (I'm telling myself that's the wolf mask talking.)

Things I didn't like:

- Zane looked so sad after losing his first match.

- Ras 100% did this just to pull out my heartstrings! 😭

- I know Jay lost his memory, but wow evil Jay is brutal!

- OF COURSE JAY IS AGENT WALKER ARIN!! Who did you think he was?!

- I really hope we get some flashbacks or shorts of what happened to Jay. That would've been really cool to see.

- Oh, Jay is so lucky Kai is trapped in Netherspace right now, he is going to have a few choice words for him after this! Nobody messes with his sister like that and gets away with it!

- The whole Riyu-Kai communication thing seems way too convenient.

Overall score: 10/10

This was hands down the best episode of the season so far! I'm so hyped for season 3 now!
