Zane's POV

Cole and I were chained back to our same torture wall as before, but we weren't alone. The guards brought in a screaming man with a red ninja gi on, and both me and Cole knew who it was.

"Kai?" We both asked

"Zane? Cole? Why aren't you with your master Lloyd?" Kai hissed 

"The dark matter wore off on us after the attack on Jay" I told him, "Only Lloyd had the dark matter on him still"

Kai tried to pull the chains off his bare wrist, but they didn't budge. Cole gave me a look, yet it didn't help the fact that Kai was still yelling.

"I need to get back up there!" He yelled, "I need to get her back"

"Who back Kai?" Cole asked 

"Nya, they took her away from me before I got locked in here with you two" He responded back, "And I don't even know if they kept the deal about letting Jay go either"

"Kai, do you even know what they what you and Nya for?" Cole asked 

"No, all I know is that they wanted to destroy all of my village or else it will bring a curse to Ninjago of something" He said 

"You don't know why he specifically wants you and Nya though?" I asked him once again

"I don't know what they want with me and my sister" he said

Cole was about to tell him, but I took the first word from his mouth, "There is a legend that two very powerful people from your village has the power to destroy a whole country" I informed him, "The Mayor doesn't want to save Ninjago, he wants to have full power over it and bring it down with flames"

"Why does he think it's Nya and I though? My parents have the same elements as us" Kai said

"Your parents have been with the same power for many years, you and Nya only scratched the surface" Cole said, "Your power is still new so it's easier to take control over it by someone else, or better yet let the power control you"

"What are the out comes of this happening?" kai asked 

" 50%" I answered, "It could go either way for anyone, but right now they are-" I was then interrupted by a horrifying, blood curling, scream. It sounded like it was from a female, yet it sounded so familiar.

"Nya!" Kai screamed, "What are they doing to her!"

 "kai calm down" Cole said 

"I can't calm down I-" We were then interrupted by yet another voice. There was a window on the other side of the caged room we were in  and a face was in it.
