I would like to say that this takes place after season 9 and the team is back together. THIS FANFIC IS NOT LIKE CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR!!!!! 

Kai's POV

The Ninjago Government called the ninja team to borg tower and I am hoping that it was just a mission and not something else. We were in front of the building waiting to be let inside quitely before someone started the conversation.

"What do you think they are calling us in for?" Jay asked with curiosity

 "I don't know, the government doesn't really call us for a meeting. There's got to be a reason." Lloyd told him

"Well whatever it is, well go through it together right guys" I asked 

"Right" They all said 

The doors then open bringing out P.I.X.A.L and two other men in black suits," Borg has asked for all of you to come into his quarters" She said.

We just followed them into a large room with a long table and many, and I mean many chairs. Borg was on the end with what looks like government officals on the sides near him.

"Ah, nice to see you again Ninja I was hoping that you would accept my- I mean our invatation" Borg said with a shy smile 

"So what is this about Mr.Borg" Zane asked while we all took a seat near a flat screen T.V. 

"We want to discuss something with you that you need to hear" Borg said while pointing a remote a the television and the screen turned into a picture, " Remember these events"

It brought up a video of the great devoaror destroying the city. Then to the battle of the Green Ninja, The Golden Master, Chens Battle, and the destuctions of Stixs. I looked into the coner of my eye to see my little sis, Nya, turning away from the screen and Lloyd looking down at the floor. Borg then brought up more images from the time twins and the Sons of Garmadon.

"Why would you show us our old battles we fought?" Cole asked 

"Every battle you have fought in has brought along destuction with it, and the government has decided that it is time to set you ninjas straight" He continued, "We want you to sign a contract to bring all your power and intell to the government"

"What!" Nya yelled, "You mean that we don't have any right to do anything without your permission?!?"

"Persicly" Borg replied 

"We can't posibly do that" Jay raised his voice 

"But guys we did cause all of that destuction in Ninjago" Cole said 

"Yes, but it wasn't all of us it was the bad guys!" I complained 

"Well then if you don't sign it then I guess you aren't ninjas anymore" He murmured," So with that being said who is willing to sign the contract"

Zane, Cole, and Lloyd raised their hands. What were they thinking.

"Really just like that? You would betray us just like that" I yelled at them 

"Kai, we are doing this for the people-" Cole was about to say before I cut in," Doing what for the people! Our job is to protect our world from being destroyed!"

"Kai just calm down" Nya said ever so slightly 

"ME CALM DOWN I DON'T SEE YOU DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS! I THOUGHT YOU WERE THAT PERSON THAT STICKS UP FOR HERSELF AND NOT STAY QUITE, HUH! I HAVE BEEN PART OF THIS TEAM FOR A VERY LONG TIME WHILE YOU HAVE BEEN HERE FOR WHAT 5 MINUTES!" I screamed at her 

Tears were starting to form in her eyes, "You know what Kai, I always knew that people can be cruel to others, but I didn't think that my own brother would do that to his own sister" Nya said as she stood out of her chair and walked out of the room.

"Well one Ninja out of the picture Kai, Jay" Borg asked 

"I'm not signing it" Jay said, "I rather keep track of my own actions not being controlled by other people" And then he walked off in the same direction as Nya.

"Kai?" Lloyd asked 

"NO" I said and shoved my chair across the room and ran out like there was a stampede behind me.

The last thing I heard from that room was Cole speaking," Did we just lose our team?"
