Jay's POV

Ever since we got Lloyd back things have been... Weird. Lloyd's eyes are still red and his attitude is more mature, but he's been spending more time with me and I'm just very confused.

I was just in my room thinking of everything that was going on until I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in" I said 

The door opened with a pretty girl in a gray gi walking towards my bed, "How have you been Jay" Nya asked politely

"Fine I guess, but my question is," I said while sitting up from my bed and looked directly at Nya, "Are you okay?"

"Jay I'm fine the wounds are healing up. You have got to stop worrying about me" She chuckled

"I know, but with everything that has been going on lately I just wan to know your safe" I told her as I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her down to my bed

"You act like Kai sometimes you know that" She joked

"At least I don't put so much gel in my hair" I teased while giving her a kiss on the cheek

"Did you just give me a kiss on the cheek?" she asked playfully 

"And I thought we talked about BOUNDARIES" I said hugging her tighter 

"I thought we set those aside" She said sarcastically

"Ah... Did I interrupt something?" A voice asked

Both me and Nya looked at the door to see Cole giving us an innocent ' I was just checking on you' look.

"You just ruined a moment" I hissed as Nya got off of me and stood next to the bed

"Hey just be lucky it wasn't Kai at the door, or else you would be off the plank" He told me

I looked at Nya to see her blushing a nice crimson color, "I better be checking on Lloyd" She said shyly

Nya walked out of the room with Cole following while I stayed in my room.

Nya's POV

I walked down the hall to Lloyd's room to check on him, but stop myself once I heard a voice. It was Lloyd talking to someone else, and then it spoke. Greg .

'Have you made one of them unlock their potentials yet?' the voice sounding greg asked

'No, but I'm getting close to the blue one. Soon enough I'll be able to kill him and unlock the girls potential. And I'm heading to Kai about to blow his mind' Lloyd responded  

Thoughts were everywhere in my mind. Lloyd was working for Greg, he was never off of the dark matter. We've been played this whole time.

'I better go, the girl could be coming any moment now' and that was all he said before opening the door to see me

"Hello Nya, nice to see you today. By ant chance did you hear anything?" He asked 

"No, not a thing" I lied 

"Good, well I better find Kai I'm training with him today" He told me before walking away to the lower deck.

I need to find Kai and fast

Kai's POV

I was punching the dummy and all I could think about was, why me? The government wants me and my sister to make people feel scared of them, but why. They want our elements to take control over us to what take over. I will never figure it out.

"Hey Kai sorry I'm late for training" I heard Lloyd say

"It's fine, I'm sorry for destroying your face earlier" I told him

"It's fine" He said walking up to me, "But I do want to talk to you about something"

"What is it Lloyd?" I asked once the dummy stopped moving

"Haven't you noticed that no one has been talking to you lately?" he asked me

"You're talking to me" I said with a chuckle 

"Well yes, but the others don't really talk to you since the battle" He said, "I think that they don't care about you" 

"What are you talking about?" I asked once more

"Everyone thinks you're out of control and it's quite pitiful if you ask me. You're a hotheaded, mean, selfish person who only cares about himself" Lloyd said, "I mean even your family doesn't want you in their lives. You could even see it on Nya's face.

"They do care about me" I told him a little frustrated 

"NO they really don't. The only thing that you care about is your hair, and that's all you will ever care about." He said with a smirk, "Look at you you're getting so fluttered by the news and you don't want to accept it, but it's true and you know it"

"What's going on with you Lloyd. You never act like this" I told him

"I'M ACTING STRANGE! LOOK AT YOU NOBODY WANTS YOU! YOU WANT POWER AND GLORY NOT WEAK PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU! He yelled, " I CAN HELP YOU JOIN ME AND TOGETHER WE CAN DESTROY NINJAGO AND RULE IT!

I screamed as I felt something burning my flesh, I then realized I was floating in air! My body was being consumed by red flames. I felt my body weakening and evil rising. No I couldn't let this happen no! My flames enraged as it spread around me and my surroundings I could hear a voice inside my head telling me to give up. But Ninja never give up I thought. I couldn't deal with the pain anymore, I fell onto the ship about to black out. The last thing I saw was the rest of my team staring down at me with tears in their eyes.

Two Chapters in one  day!!! I'm still waiting for the season 9 trailer!!
