Kai's p.o.v

Moaning, I slowly come around. A heart monitor beeps off to the side. A hand fitting in mine, has me creaking my eyes open. Vision blurred, it shows no signs of clearing anytime soon. "Kai. Kai, you awake or tricking us again." A voice sounds out the fog. 'Who was that, where am I. I'm I still in the hands of Rider.' My mind races. "Kai...come buddy. Danny and the babies need you. Please wake up this time." The voice sounds again. Blinking to clear my sight, the fuzz clears a little to where I can make out shapes. I decide to use action. My hand lightly closes around the fingers in mine, they squeeze my hand in return. 'Who are you.' I still can't see. "Kai, you awake." They sound again. I make a grunt, my throat hot, dry and raw. "Hang on." The hand leaves mine, returning a minute later.

Something is pulled from my mouth, resting on my chest. Something else is placed at my lips and cool water flows over my tounge. Humming, I drink deeply, drinking two more bottles before my thirst is clinched. Blinking again, my vision clears more and I see green. Lloyd's staring at me, a smile on his lips. "Kai, you awake." He asks. "Mos... (clears throat) mostly." I rasp. "Thank god, you've been out of it for three weeks. We feared you'd never wake..." "Lloyd, slow down, my hearings fogged still." I tell hem. Lloyd nods, he takes my hand again as my ears pop. "You've been out for three weeks. Jay's been getting you liquid food and fluids for that long. The babies are fine as well. Missing you but, their all healthy." He says slowly. I nod, feeling something on my neck and chin. Lifting my hand, my fingers, palms, wrists and forearms are wrapped up. Same for my neck. "Want to see Danny." I said, Lloyd nods and he leaves.

Danny's p.o.v

Waiting on Kai to wake is painful. I'm in a meeting, Blake is watching the kids when the door opens. Lloyd steps in, he stands by the door. All the new recruits look. "Yes, Lloyd." I ask. "Kai's awake, for real this time. He chugged three water bottles when he woke up. Kai's asking for you." Lloyd says, folding his hands behind hem. Dressed in Assassin's armour over his gi, he looks and plays the part of a hunter. Cole touches my shoulder "Go, I got them. Kai needs you right now." Cole says. I get up, going out the room. Going to Kai's recovery room, Jay is walking in with a small plate of food. He holds it out, smiling at me. Taking it, I knock, opening the door. Kai is sitting up, a bottle of water in hand. He turns his gaze to me and opens his arms. Setting the plate down, I gladly hold Kai as he snuggles into my chest. We stay like that.

Zane's p.o.v

Leading a group to the Assassin's HQ, it's counterparts of us. Infront of the group, I have my helmet on, they don't know it's me. Swiping my card, the doors open. Leading the group inside, a trainee runs by. "On, sorry general, medic Pyro woke up. He's awake finally. Can I ask if he'll train me." The young girl says. "Let hem rest a bit longer, I'm sure commander is spending time with hem. I promise, you can ask when he's up and walking around." I tell her. She nods, running off. Motioning the group to follow, I go I to the meeting room.

Cole looks up from papers he's writing on. His helmet is on as well. When we have counterparts or enemies that come in, they only know us by the armour we ware. Mine is shoulder pads and knee pads for being a scout. Cole's is chest plates, shoulder pads, elbow, knees, forearms and shin guards. The only difference in his and Danny's is the helmet design. "So, these are the counters." Cole asks, his voice deep with a raspy growl to it. "What the hell..." I shut Cole's counterpart up. Forcing them to sit, I nod my head and leave.

Cole's p.o.v

Looking at the last of the papers, the counters are made to wait. Signing my name and sliding them in their respective folders, I lace my fingers together and look at the ones before. This is the fourth group of counterparts that have come to our realm. Cole looks at me, he's a ghost. Kai is beside Lloyd as said green ninja curls into Kai. Zane is titanium, Jay isn't a doctor, and Nya is warring her original gi. Wu sits, looking me over but nothing gives it away that I'm who I am. Leaning back, I lean my head to the ceiling, this is going to be fun. Getting up, I grab the folders and cross the room. Sliding said folders in their slots, that's when they start.

"Who are you, where are we, who was that..." ghost starts. I send an earth ball at Cole, it hits. "How....wait, your Cole." Kai said. "No shit, Sherlock." I said, tapping the side of my helmet. It retracts into the visor I have, which I pull off and set on the table. Taking my seat again, the door opens, a trainee walks in. He walks over, holding out a folder. "Sparky took Pyro's stats. He wanted you to have a look." Alex said. I take the folder, he gives a small bow and leaves. Opening the folder, I glance at it, setting it down and sliding it over to fully read later.

"As you guessed, I'm high in rank here. As the Assassin's second-in-command of the military here, battle plans come straight to me. If I deam them worthy, I take them to Danny, the head of the organization. He and his husband created this place to hunt down criminals and elemental masters who have turned from good. Pyro was the sole second-in-command but we divided when Pyro had to step down to be with his and Danny's kids." I see Lloyd about to ask. "Pyro is what we call a reproducing male, four are born every generation. He and one other are known by us." I explain. The door opens again, Lloyd walks in, he has Syran with hem. "Hey cutie, how's sissy." I say. She blows a raspberry, I chuckle. "When you going to find a lady. Or a man if your..you know." Lloyd asks. I look at hem, I give that look that makes anyone but Danny and Pyro back down. Lloyd takes a step back and bolts as I get up, chasing after hem. I grab the door frame as he rounds the corner. Shaking my head, I go back and sit. "If your wondering, that was Lloyd, code name, emerald. Now, where we, ah. Every Assassin has a code name. But, you must be of a certain skill level to gain one. Me and the ninja are part of that group." I say

"Let me guess. Rocky." Kai said. I send hem the glair and Kai shrinks back. "Just cause your counterpart is in the medbay, don't think I'll treat you like I do Pyro. Don't fuck with me." I snarl at hem. Kai gulps, nodding. "Good. Now, my name is Magma. Due to this." I activate my lava arms. "Gained them after the Day of the Departed. Now...." the door opens once more, I smile as Morro walks in. He has his helmet on so you can only see his eyes. "Mission report." Morro said, handing me a slip. He removes his helmet and Lloyd jumps out his chair. The other ninja do in attack mode, Kai tries to tackle Morro, I grab hem, slamming Kai onto the table. "He attacked Lloyd. Possessed hem to find the tomb of the first spinjitzu master. All so he could get the realm crystal. Let me go so I can send hem....." i pull my dagger out, putting it to Kai's neck. "Attack my top hunter, I'll kill you. Morro is married to our Lloyd and father of the little one Lloyd brought in here earlier. Now, have a seat." I say. Kai is in full blown fear mode, they all sit down. "You heard Pyro woke up." Morro asks as I sheath my dagger. "Really, well, I'll have to visit hem. Danny in there." I said, taking my seat once more. "Yeah, he hasn't come out. Blake asked me to relieve hem of baby sitting duty." I chuckle at that. "Let me know if you need help." "Nah, Lloyd's with me. Fran and Syran need some friends. See ya commander." Morro said, leaving. The door closes, I look at the ninja. "Question, was the one that brought us, a former ninja." Zane asks. "Oh, don't get us wrong, we're still ninja, all but Kai is. I was trained by Kai to take the mantle of second-in-command when Kai retired to be with the kids. He was forced to do it earlier then he thought....." A bang goes out, rocking the building. It cane from the training room. I jump up, they follow as I run out.

Coming to the room, two trainees are going at it. Zane and Jay pull them apart but they get free, the one Zane held round house kicks hem. "ENOUGH." I command.

Kai's p.o.v

When Magma called for enough, all four froze. The one that got kicked stands. "NOW, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE." Magma yells. One goes to speak when Magma holds his hand up. "I do not want he did she did bullshit. I want the facts. You know what, I'll ask Jay and Zane." Magma turns to the one on the left. "I came running when I heard the bang. Found them two trying to kill each other." Zane's voice sounds. Magma nods, turning to Jay. "I was going to check on Kai when I heard arguing. Stopping at the door, these two were at each other's throats and Greg threw the first ponch. The bang y'all heard was Nick slamming into the horse over there and it falling and knocking over the stacks." I look, the story adds up. Cole growls, he touches his forehead. "I have enough on my plate with Kai in the medba...." "that whore gets pregnant and he has to be saved ev...." Cole has Greg jacked up against the wall. "I'd watch your mouth if I were you. We protect Kai...." "y'all didn't protect hem eighteen years ago. Y'all let hem go to prison for something he didn't do. Oh, I'm sorry, he did do it but it was a phyco Kai." Greg smirks, we seven back up as Jay's hand crackles with lightning and Zane's gets covered in ice. "You speak the truth. We didn't have Kai's back, but, we've been doing our damnest to make it up. We learned the hard way of how Kai felt that day in the park. We regret everything we did." Jay said. "So, if you don't like it, there's the door, don't let it hit your ass on the way out." Zane snarls.

"If I recall, I'm the one in charge of the trainees." We all jump at voice behind us. Turning, I see an older self in a wheelchair, a man behind. "I'm second-in-command of the military...." "Kai is first and foremost the one who brings recruits into the organization. That includes overseeing their training. Once they reach their level that Kai has set, than they are yours, Cole." Says the man behind Kai. Kai than takes the wheels, he rolls past, and our eyes go wide at the sight of the wraps and bones sticking out. Jay goes to stop Kai when Kai sends a glare. "I've been asleep for three weeks. My new borns don't know me, my duties have fallen behind so don't even Jay. I ate the plate you gave me and than some." Kai sneared. Jay backs off, Kai rolls to Cole. "Let hem down, I'll deal with hem. Now." Kai maybe in bad shape, but his voice sends shivers down my back. Cole steps back, Greg set down. "Infront of me, move." Kai growls. The kid, eyes wide, follows orders.

Kai rolls past, he stops at me. "You want to join. I'd like to chat." I look to Wu, he nods. I follow behind Kai, Greg stays infront. "I strike fear, obedience fear, in the Assassin's here." Kai said, he calls out to Greg who follows Kai down a hall. We come to two doors, I open one. Kai rolls in, he stops in the middle. Me and Greg stand infront, it's a shower room. "The girls one is next door. You'll start in here and go in there. I want this place cleaned top to bottom. I've cleaned these rooms before so I know how they should look. The supplies are across the hall. You have the rest of the day. Chop chop." Kai rolls out as I hold the door open.

He wheels a good ways, coming to a lunch room. "I just ate but I'm still hungry, you." Kai asks. "Zane was about to make dinner when we came. You don't mind." I ask. "Nah, I often eat in my office. I could show you later." Kai rolls to the counter, a woman comes up. "Good to see you, commander. Come for a bite. You need some meat on them bones." She says, I get mad but Kai just laughs. "What cha got, Mama. Kai, meet Charlie but we call her mama. She's like a mother hen to us." Kai said. "Got that right, sugar. I got roast beef and rice. Chicken and dumplings with mac and cheese for both." Mama says. "Can I get some of that roast and bottled water if you got it." Kai said. "And you sugar." "Same please." I ask. "Coming right up, go sit down and I'll bring it out." Kai rolls away, I follow hem to a table.

Sitting down, I slip off my gi coat. "You ya know my story " Kai asked. I look at hem and it clicks. "We know the jests of it." Kai nods as mama walks up, setting two bowls down. She hugs Kai who returns it. "Good to have you back, Pyro." Mama said. Kai smiles, he starts to eat. I begin as well as footsteps sound. "Started without us Kai." Jay says as Magma leads them in. I roll my eyes. Pyro looks at me. "What." He whispered. "The guys have been ignoring me. It's been like this eversence we defeated Morro. Now it's like I don't exist." I say. "And if they do notice me, they just shrug me off, or if I say something they don't acknowledge it." I tell hem. Pyro nods, he's finished as am I. He waves to mama, she waves back and we leave. "I want to meet my babies, I've been in a coma for three weeks. A guy by the name of Ryder Nexson had me for three months. He had me locked in a pillory a foot above the floor and the wood cut into my neck and wrists from the combined weight of the babies. Had the gang not found me when they did, I would have birth the five in that cell, they most likely would have died. Cole took me to my old room on the ship and I had them in the safety of family and friends. I only woke up a few hours ago." Pyro turns down a hall, you can see a door is open, voices come from inside. "And the skin and bones." "I was given only enough to stay alive, no more, no less." Pyro said as he opens the door somemore.
