Deep in the Hiroshi's Labyrinth, I clime the vines and swing from them while Lloyd and Garmadon talk below. Landing on a branch, I scout for the droids that I know are following. Seeing nothing right now, I rejoin the father/son duo. "They say, at the heart of the maze is a jewel. The most beautiful oasis no one has ever seen." Garmadon says as I get in front. We trek for a while, water running is soon heard.

Coming to a clearing, the oasis is ahead. Kneeling, I cup some water and drink it. Saw blades sound, Garmadon yells for Lloyd to run. I grab his hand and summon my bike, we get on and speed out of there. Seeing a cliff, I slam the breaks, the cycle wheelies on the front tire. The mechdragon comes up, Lloyd reacts his power. I see the snake coming and shove Lloyd off the cliff as it wraps around me instead. Pythor snarls, tail lifting me up. "Who are you." Overlord sneers. "I'm Kai Smith. Formerly ninja of fire, second-in-command of the Assassin's. I'm stronger than Lloyd is. I'm my realms ultimate spinjitzu master, but I use both primary and secondary." I look at Garmadon, he has a look in his eye. "Bring hem, he'll do better than the golden master. Throw hem overboard." Wu throws Garmadon in the water. I'm thrown in the container, my power is siphoned instantly.

Lloyd's p.o.v

Swimming to the surface, me and dad watch as Kai is taken. "Stay strong, Pyro. You saved me, I'll save you." I create my dragon and we go back to tower. Coming in, Nya tackles me in a hug. "Pyro took my place. He gave hem self up to save me." I say. "Classic Pyro." I rip around, an older version of me, Jay, Cole and dad stand there with others. Wu walks in, father goes to the controls. A man walks up to me "Did he give hem self up to save you." He asks.

"Yes, he asked me to put my life in his hands. I didn't know he ment this." I say. He nods "I'm Danny Fowl, Kai's husband." Dad comes over. "He told us his story. He's lucky to have you." Dad said. "And I hem. He'll be okay, Pyro's been through worse." Danny says. Nya walks up, she tools out a map. "Sadly, with the Overlord still in power, we have to redo the reboot to save my brother. If everything goes according to plan, the Overlord will crash here." Nya circles an area far out in the sea. "Than, how do we do this." Cole asked. Jay goes to the consol, he closes his eyes, sparks dance along his fingers and powers the system. "I'll be your power....." silver orbs start floating around. "Oh no, Kai." Danny said.

Kai's p.o.v (Pyro)

Panting heavy, I watch as the meter climes to seventy. If I can get out of here, I can recharge. Leaning on the glass, I hang my head, feeling weak. Is this how Lloyd felt. I watch as the power climes to ninety when the ship surges. The container stops and I slam my fist in the glass, it shatters instantly. Walking out, still a little weak, I form my dragon and fly back to Ninjago as the ship crashes. Coming to the city, I head for Borg tower and flying in the hole that's in the side. I'm instantly picked up, lips meeting mine has me wrapping my arms around Danny's neck.

After a minute, Danny pulls back, but still holds me. "You need to stop going on adventures." Danny said. I smile, pulling away then whisper in his ear. "When we get back, I'll let you have away with me." I than kiss his ear. Turning to the gang, Lloyd bear hugs me. "Thank you, you saved me and dad, thank you so much." He said. I hum, holding Lloyd close. After a minute he pulls back and me and Danny rejoin the gang. "Hey guys." I say, Nya hugs me. "Hey, Lloyd." He looks at me. "Remind me to never have my power siphoned again." Lloyd grins "Hurt like hell." He said. "Like a mother fucker." I say. Everyone laughs. Cole holds up the realm crystal, Garmadon and Wu gasp. We stand, I send a shock and the portal appears. Walking through, a hand on my shoulder has me looking at Lloyd. He removes a necklace, putting on me. "I consider you a brother. You helped me gain control of my golden power and saved me from the Overlord, thank you." He says. I hug hem one last time than go through the portal.

In mine and Danny's room at HQ, I run the bath. Slipping out my clothes, I clime in. Leaning on the tub lid, I don't notice Danny getting behind me. "You only come in when you have something to tell me." He said, pulling me close. Sitting on his lap, I reach for the stick in my pocket. "I haven't even seen it, but, given how active you've been with me and plus right before the meeting, I wanted to play it safe." I pull out the stick, my hand covers the reading. "Together."
