Chapter 3
Garmadon stacks rocks on top of Lloyd, making hem hold them up. "We underestimate the importance of balance. When it's there, we're at peace. When something is off, everything falls. Ninjago is no different. It put too much faith in technology, allowing the Overlord to return, and because of your friends, now the world is without power. When one relies on something too much, we become weak, vulnerable, imbalanced. In order to find your Full Potential and unlock your true power, you must find your own balance." Garmadon says, placing another rock.
Lloyd grunts, he turns to look at his father. "I'm already the Golden ninja, how much more power do I need?" He asks. "You've only scratched the surface! You have the potential to move mountains. Power of the First Spinjitzu Master." I say. "Why don't you have to do this." Lloyd asks me. "Remember back at Garmadon's monastery when I ponches the ground and it ripped apart. I used my earth to do that. I'm stronger than you are. I control not only the primary, but secondary elements. I have a higher power you will never dream of." I say from my perch on a rock that I'm meditating on.
Lloyd grunts again as Garmadon places more rocks on hem. "The Ninja destroyed the power substation, essentially destroying the Overlord and his Nindroids. Why can't we go back?" Lloyd asks. "Essentially? Until the Overlord is fully erased from the system, we must not go back, but forward!" Garmadon said, laying one rock too many and Lloyd crumbles. He spins to get out and I drop down. "If you can't move mountains, I guess we'll have to move over mountains." I say. "Oh, yeah. Why don't you move them." Lloyd says, being cocky. I smack the back of his head, he ow's. "I'll only use them at a life or death situation." I said, moving out. "And this next one looks particularly steep." Garmadon says, pointing to a mountain.
We start climing, Lloyd looks back at Garmadon. "Wish you still had four hands? It would've come in handy." Lloyd jokes. I crack up at that. Garmadon looks at Lloyd, "Your potential is great, not your sense of humor." I laugh harder.
"Heh, heh, heh. Still won't let me use the Golden Dragon?" Lloyd asks. It's my turn to look at Lloyd, "Still won't. If you want to harness the power of the First Spinjitzu Master, you must focus on your balance, and find your center." I said.
Lloyd sees a Ravture youngling. It falls from the the nest, Lloyd saves it. "What have you done? It's going to know someone has touched its young!" Garmadon said, looking fearful. Lloyd gulps "It? Who?" I look up "Daddy. . . ." Papa Ravture comes around, glaring at Lloyd. "He was going to fall. I was trying to help." Lloyd tries to reason. "Unless you speak ravture, there's no use trying to explain. Hurry! We need to climb to shelter! There!" Garmadon said, climing to a crack in the rocks.
The youngling goes to fall again but Lloyd grabs hem. "You're not gonna fall on my watch!." He says. I want to help but, I must let this happen. "Your compassion is not helping." Garmadon says as Papa dives to hem, knocking hem down a ways. "Dad!, Garmadon." Me and Lloyd calls. I know this happens but, it's the first time for me. Garmadon manages to grab a ledge, he pants heavily. "I take it back. I do want my four arms back." He said.
Lloyd makes an energy ball, I slide down, cutting he off. "No! Do not use your power as a crutch. It will only weaken you." I tell hem. Garmadon watches as Papa comes back "He's circling back." Garmadon said and the Ravture knocks hem off. Lloyd and i watch as Garmadon falls below the clouds. "Dad! No!." Lloyd grunts as he rises his hand. A smile appears on my face as Garmadon is caught and lifted to us. Garmadon smiles as well. "Son!" Garmadon jumps over to us. "You just moved a mountain, son." Garmadon hugs Lloyd.
The youngling falls, Lloyd gasps. "No!" He tries to catch the Ravture but he starts flying. I rest a hand on Lloyd's shoulder. "You're not the only one that's grown up." I say. Lloyd smiles, he waves his hand, stairs paper in the mountain side. "After you." We let Garmadon pass.
The falcon comes and relays a message. (The one from the show.) "So, now what." Lloyd asks. "Lloyd." I say as my back is turned. "Yeah." "Do you trust me." I ask hem. "With my life why." He asks. "Cause, when we get in Hiroshi's Labyrinth, I'm going to do something that you may not like. I'm asking you to put your life in my hands, to trust me." I turn to look at hem. "I already trust you with my life." Lloyd said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Now, let's get lost." Garmadon says.
