Kai's p.o.v

Blocking Garmadon, I swing at Wu. He ducks, I jump up to avoid his leg sweep. Garmadon grabs my arm, I flip hem over my shoulder and cold cock hem in the jaw. He sees stars. A bronze tornado as me back flipping. I answer with my now golden fire tornado. We clash and I pin Wu down. He nods, I get up, offering a hand. "We can teach you no more. Now, you just have to test the limits of your power." Wu says as Garmadon slowly gets up. He rubs his jaw, I go over, putting ice on it. How can I control ice when my element is fire.

The time twins decided to control all time by making Wu surrender instead of them defeating the twins that day. I was brought along to be used a insurance so no one would attack the Iron Doom. I escaped and used my new found golden power to defeat them. Now, I'm stuck in the past with no way to get home. The brothers have been training me in the way of being a sensei, now, I'm at their level.

Three months have sadly went by, the other masters left to live their lives but I visit mom and dad every now and than. Garmadon smiles at me, he than turns away. I shake my head, it's only a matter of time before he betrays Wu and tries to take the golden weapons of spinjitzu. Looking at the sky, I send a prayer.

(Present day)

Erika is finally asleep thanks to the help of Cole. I'm in my office, looking at papers. I sigh, three months Kai's been stuck in the past. Only the reversal and forward blades have been found. The Slow-Mo and Pause blades are still out there. Erika whines from her cradle, I gently rock it. She wants her mama so bad. We all do. On Kai, I hope your safe. Cole walks in, he holds a scroll.

"You got to see this." He unrolls it. I see it's the painting of Wu and Garmadon vs the time twins from fourty years ago. "Look who's beside Wu." Cole points. I look, my eyes go wide as I see Kai in his fighting stance. He also wares....a golden gi. I look at Cole, he nods. "Zane even looked it over, it's authentic. He helped the brothers save Ninjago." Pride and love swells in me as I look the painting over. My beloved fought that day, he may be hurt right now, but, he saved us. Kai, where ever you are, we'll find and bring you home.

Kai's p.o.v

Two weeks pass, mom is having baby me. I sit in the living room of the monastery, Wu is helping her have me. My hands glow blue and red, than green and copper. I found out I'm stronger than Lloyd was when he had his golden power. I control all the elements, both primary and secondary. Not wanting to intrude, I get up and go outside. The hole from when Garmadon sent Wu through the hall is somewhat closed. Picking a plank, nails and hammer up, I start hammering. Garmadon turned on Wu a few nights ago. I told Wu I would repair the wall. He asked if I knew this would happen and I told hem I did. Putting a nail in my mouth, lining the plank up, I hammer another nail in the beam I put to replace one of the three that had been destroyed.

The sun overhead, I soon discard my shirt. Sweat drips off me as I work. A tap on my shoulder has me looking at Misako. She holds out a glass of water. Grabbing it, cooling it with my ice, I drink it. Sitting on the wood, Misako watches me work, handing me nails or planks when I need them. She's only a couple weeks pregnant with Lloyd. Soon after sun high, Wu walks out. He looks my way "Maya would like for you to join them." He says. I nod, heading side to shower than head to the room.

Walking in, mom and dad look at me. She motions me over and I look at baby me. I had a head full of brown hair. He smiles at me, giggling. Stroking his cheek, Kai grabs my finger in one of his hands. My heart aches for my girls but, for the time being, I'll be a brother to my baby self.
