I've always had a crush on Jay. 

He's so smart, kind, adorable, funny....

And totally lovable.

When Jay and Cole started fighting over me, I always secretly liked Jay much more. Jay constantly dropped hints at me, but I always veiled my feelings for him. But now, I'm going to tell him how I feel. 

I walked down the corridor and there he was, playing chess with Zane, and losing badly.

I felt my cheeks heat up. He was so adorable when he was frustrated. 

Suddenly I felt shy. Maybe I could tell him tomorrow instead.....

"Nya!" Jay smiled at me, abandoning his game of chess. "How are you?"

"I'm good.... Jay, I really wanted to-"

Jay cut me off. "Actually, Nya, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the zoo with me? I mean, you don't have to if you don't want to, but it would be totally cool if you could..."

"Of course I will." I said. I guess I could tell him at the zoo...

"Nya!" Jay smiled. 

"Hey." I said. 

"Let's go in." Jay took my arm and insisted he escort me inside, though I was very capable of doing it myself.

It was pretty cute though.

We passed the lions first. They growled as we approached them, baring their teeth at us. 

"Did you know that I used to be a professional lion trainer?" Jay boasted. 

He stuck his hand through the bars. "Here, kitty kitty." The lion growled at him and he snatched his hand back sharpish. 

"I... might be a little bit rusty." Jay said.

I giggled. "Well, Jay, there's been something I needed to tell you...."

Jay grinned. "That you've fallen head over heels in love with me and you're ready to pledge your undying love for me?" 

I looked down. "Yeah, something like that...."

Jay smiled at me. He suddenly pulled my close and kissed me. I felt like I'd been shocked.... in a good way. My whole body tingled from my lips to my toes. 

When we pulled apart, Jay said, "I like you too, Nya."

When we walked away, I swear I saw a zebra smirking at us.

Wow, Jay. Invite Nya to the zoo. That's really romantic. Well, it is cute though.
