Hate part 3
SAME WARNING AS ALL OTHER HATE STORIES! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. Enjoy, this short drabble.
"If you're not working tonight, who is?" Nya asks, keeping get back turned on the cheeky red head.
"Probably Liz and Angle, since you and Skylor quit-"
"I KNOW I quit you don't have to keep saying it!" She yells, interrupting the teen.
"Regardless, it's those two filling the shift tonight," Jay says only now noticing the two other high schoolers in the room.
"Why do you have to be so sassy?" Clancee says scowling at the younger boy.
"Because that's just how I am," he replies sorting the other a bright smile.
"Well I don't like it," he hisses back now glaring at the ginger.
"Oh well, that is just too bad," Jay replies looking away, trying to force back his tears and suppress the voices in his head.
"I already know no one likes me."

Jay stopped moving ad the ball rolled towards him on the wrong side of the hoop, unwilling to trip and make a fool of himself.
"Sorry," he calls," I would've tripped, or fouled, making even trying to kick that pointless."
Throwing the ball back he readies himself to kick. Once he kicks the ball and it's caught he tries to keep his smile in place even as Kai yells,"that kick was pointless everyone knew you were gonna get out anyway!"
Jay smiles at him, ignoring the tears in his eyes. Every time he tries his attempt is torn down, broken, his hope abused.
Add he reached the back of the line he feels the familiar itch, a need for red.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jay smiles as he scrolls through his pictures happy to sit quietly with his memories, but his peace does not last. No, it is destroyed by Nya's laughter. A blush overtook his face as he moved to cover the funny selfies he took.
"Stop laughing at me!" He exclaims, clearly embarrassed.
" I wasn't laughing at you!" Nya retorts still laughing.
"Sure, ya weren't," the ginger replies attempting to keep the venom out of his voice.
"Hrmp, you're so rude, this is exactly why I like hanging out with Cole so much more than you."
Jay forces a smile as she gets up and walks away, leaving him with his toxic thoughts.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jay shakes violently as he rushes back to his seat; his speech finally over. He feels the darkness creeping up, clawing at his lungs. Tears well and his breathing speeds up as the attack starts, mild but still there. Public speaking did this to him. It threw him into a total state of panic that felt like falling into an abyss, left him clawing at air struggling to get enough air into his lungs. His eyes snap closed in one more attempt to hold onto his peace, a snicker ringing in his ears.
Someone was laughing at him. At his attack, at the pain he felt.

Ya know it's kinda weird continuing this story. I expected it to be a lone angst vent story, but now, wow
Also yes the person was laughing at Jay. This exact thing happened to me today and one of the jock a**es actually had the audacity to laugh. Seriously, who laughs at a person having a panic attack!
