Hate Finale-Ending Two

They had said they loved me, and that would never change, so what happened. What happened to their love. Tears cascade down Jay's face as he stares at his friends smiling faces. It had been done years since he had seen any of them. Five years of no text, but that was no longer important.
It was true he had survived the bullying with out them, the mental torture without them, the pain without them. He had nothing left. His parents were gone and Morro had drowned a year ago. No one was there as the grief filled him, drowning out any hope that tried to grow inside him.
Each day dragged on, pulling him along towards the inevitable end. It was a consistent numb broken only by the delicate pain of red lines. Despite the numb he was well recognized, a star. It was funny how the man who brought so much joy to others never found a way to feel any himself. He could always fake a smile and will the hearts of others, instilling the hope, he wished he had, in them. Millions saw him, but none saw him.

He could see the head lines now, Famous Comedy Star Jay Gordon Commits Suicide". The young man smiles as he looks at the five pills in his hands, light blue, green, red, black, and white. One pill for each friend, and one letter. Five reasons, fifty stories, one truth.

He was done, born in the wrong time, wrong place.

He swallows the pills quickly and stares at their faces in the photograph. He wants to cry but his eyes are dry as he smiles sadly.

Jay groans as he sits up. White walls seem to shine around him as muffled voices drift around him and blurred forms move closer. Blinking he forces himself to decide on the faces, his old friends. Jay almost laughs at other concerned looks on their faces until he feels someone grab his hand gently. Looking over he see his gardian angel. Morro smiles down at him, his dark hair ties back in a ponytail, eyes shining with tears unshed.
"I missed you,"is all Jay can manage to say as he pulls him in for a hug.
"I missed you too blue berry," Morro replies,"but I think it's time for us to go."
Jay nods as he started each person in the room one final glance.
He didn't blame them; he never had. Even if they didn't love him he love them. They were his family, and parting is such bittersweet sorrow.

Everyone freezes as Jay's monitor flat lined. He was gone.
Now they could see he truly was blue.
