"Come on, Lloyd!" Morro taunted, "If you want the Crystal, earn it!"

He watched Lloyd hop from piece of wood to piece of wood, blowing a board out from under Lloyd every once in a while just to watch him struggle to get up to where Morro was standing.

Higher and higher Lloyd jumped, finally even with the top of the floating building where Morro was positioned, "Watch your step, Lloyd. The fall can be a doozy!" he blew another piece out from Lloyd just as he was about to jump on, and Morro watched as Lloyd plummeted.

Lloyd reached out and grabbed hold of a piece just a few hundred feet above the dock, pulling himself up before he fell again, "She's gotta be in there somewhere..."

He managed to Airjitzu himself back up to where Morro was, clinging to the swinging door of the mangled clocktower as Morro stood over him, "This is the end of the line, Lloyd! I'll miss you!" Right before Morro kicked Lloyd back down, he got distracted by something and paused with an angry huff.

"Better late than never!" Ronin was back with R.E.X and he was back with a vengeance, grinning madly as he grabbed a lever in his airship, "I've been saving up a lot for this moment!"

"Shit!" Morro covered his head and watched in horror as hundreds of coins dropped on top of him, weighing down his building so much that it sent it crashing back down to the docks.

He was able to duck inside at the last minute, and was now watching from the shadows to see what Lloyd would do with the Crystal in his hand. Trying to, at least. It was difficult to pay attention out here with the raging girl he was also fighting off on the inside, too.

He gasped when Lloyd was prepping to destroy it, "You wouldn't really want to do that? Would you?"

"This isn't your world anymore, Morro," Lloyd told him, backing up with the Crystal still cupped between two glowing hands, "You had your chance, the Realm Crystal must be destroyed! The First Spinjitzu Master never wanted us to have it."

"But... but if you destroy it," Morro began, pleading, almost, "You destroy any chance of seeing your dear old father again, Lloyd. Think of Lizz, Lloyd. Think of your family. I've seen him, cooped up in the Cursed Realm. Destroy the Crystal, and the gateway will forever be wiped out," he was taunting him, but he'd struck a nerve, Lloyd having froze in place as he ignored the pleas of his teammates from outside the windows.

"If you destroy it, you'll never again have the chance to be a complete family again, Lloyd."

"You..." Lloyd started quietly, "You've seen him?" he shook his head, voice hardening, "No! He'd do everything to save NinjaGo! And you'd do everything to destroy it! The Realm Crystal must be destroyed!" he started gearing up to destroy it again, but a few tentacles dropped from the swirling portal above their head and took hold of Lloyd.

Morro grinned and backed away, bowing, "My master... the gateway is complete..."

Lloyd was struggling against the arms as more gripped him, pulling him off the floor, "No! It must be destroyed!"

"No!" Morro countered, "You have it wrong! NinjaGo must be destroyed!" he watched in satisfaction as Lloyd disappeared through the gateway, "Say hello to your father for me."

Morro kicked through a wall and stepped outside, watching the ninja scatter like bugs into the night. He kept walking, but was also still twitching like a glitchy character in a video game, "Back off, Garmadon. I'll release you when I'm damn good and ready."

He turned and watched as the Preeminent emerged, large and horrifying. Morro wouldn't help the slight surge of glee he felt, despite barely holding off Lizz. Something he'd said set her off and she was battling with a vengeance that he'd never seen before.

Gently, he swung onto one of the Preeminent's tentacles so he could fast-travel across the town to where Sensei was attempting to evacuate the premises. He laughed loudly when Misako pointed to him and called, "Look! It's Lizz!"

Sensei's face fell, "That's still not Lizz, Misako."

Morro barely contained his harsh laughter enough to speak, "You were wrong about me, Sensei!" He waved the Crystal at Sensei Wu, "You said destiny didn't want me to be the Green Ninja! Well, I make my own destiny! And now your's is coming to an end!"

Sensei stepped forward, blocking off Misako and Ronin, "If you release this scourge, it won't stop until it's infected all sixteen realms! I trained you to be a ninja who protects, not one who destroys!"

"You led me to believe I was to become the Green Ninja! Well now, I am!" He stretched out his arms to show his audience his stolen Gi, "The more souls the Preeminent takes, the bigger she gets! Say goodbye to your loved ones, Sensei, and say goodbye to NinjaGo!" he called out as the arm he was standing on began withdrawing towards the centre of town, again.

But just as they got there, Morro became unbalanced and fell, very uncoordinatedly, back to the docks. He landed on his back with a grunt, "Leave it alone, Garmadon! Ugh! You're so difficult!" in their mind, he kicked her into a building and locked the door behind her, "Just can't leave well enough alone. Feel the need to go nosing around in everyone's business!"

He proceeded to climb up buildings, hopping from roof to roof until he was standing on the highest one he could find, watching over the destruction he'd caused. He is causing. He'd finally won. He was finally the Green Ninja and was finally fulfilling his self-made destiny.

With a grunt, he pushed off from the rooftop, flying over to where he noticed the ferry of the townsfolk pushing off from the dock, leaving behind one Ronin with his Sword of Sanctuary. He snickered at how scared Ronin looked, "Uh, Lizz," he greeted.

"Shut it, Ronin," Morro snapped, "We both know she doesn't like you, and after what you did to her, I completely understand her anger." there was a distant, 'I'll get him' and Morro turned, sending a blast of frozen air at Kai to put out his flaming fists.

"I'll handle him," Ronin called, "Just go!"

Leave him alone!

Morro suddenly doubled over, his free hand gripping at his temples, "Sonuva--" He moaned, the splitting pain in his head unbearable.

He recovered enough to use his elemental power on Ronin, however, who was attempting to flee. He sent a powerful enough gust that Ronin had to sheath the Sword in the deck as to not blow away, and even after that he'd lost his grip and flew away regardless.

"Mother--Ugh!" Morro stood up, still rubbing his head and blinking rapidly. His mental curses got worse when Lloyd hopped out of quite literally nowhere to grab the abandoned sword, "You!?" Morro grit his teeth, "You people just can't leave me alone!"

Lloyd was wearing a totally different outfit, something akin to a silver Sensei Gi, and it made Morro's throat tighten up -- and it made Lizz's heart jump somewhere deep inside. Lloyd pointed the tip of the Sword towards Morro, trying hard to remember that, right now, that is far from his sister, "I'm back. And I believe you have something of mine."

Morro took one glance at the Crystal in his hand and started towards Lloyd, but as soon as he took one step he froze and grabbed at his head once more. The Crystal fell, forgotten, from his hand as he fell to all fours and began dry heaving.

"Morro?" Lloyd seemed almost concerned. He'd never heard of a ghost throwing up, but even then, there might be something wrong with Lizz and not Morro.

"Get--Away!" Morro snarled. Only, it wasn't Morro's voice it was Lizz's, and when she looked up at Lloyd her eyes were blazing blue. A stark contrast against her pale grey skin.

Lloyd's stomach dropped, and he picked up the Crystal and ran towards the end of the dock where Ronin was waiting, "What's goin' on, kid? She in trouble?"

"No, no, no," Lloyd grabbed Ronin by the scruff of his jacket and Airjitzu'd to the ferry, "No we're in trouble."

"What's going on with Morro?" it was Cole who'd voiced the worries of the rest of the team, who'd gathered around them.

"Lizz's unlocking her True Potential."

The team began cheering quietly amongst themselves, "Finally!" Kai snorted, "We really need her right now."

Zane shook his head, "No, Kai, this is going to be disastrous."

"What do you mean?" Cole's eyebrows were down in confusion, "She's going to be powerful enough to wipe out the Preeminent now."

"She's going to be powerful enough to wipe out the entirety of NinjaGo," Zane was looking back towards the shoreline where, just barely, they could make out Morro fighting his internal battle with Lizz, "Because it's not just her full potential she's unlocking; it's also Morro's."
