Update--possibly two--just cuz 's a holiday

"I can't believe you made us walk eight miles!" Jay was doubled over as they walked through the archway of Steep Wisdom, "Like, really?!"

 Lizz was still walking with a determined stride, straight towards the shop doors, "Something is wrong and I need to know what," she still hadn't told them that it was something wrong with Lloyd. They didn't need to know that and she couldn't explain how she knew even if she did tell them.

 Kai was grumbling, "How is she still so energetic?"

 Cole shrugged and drew in enough breath to run and catch up with Lizz, pushing into the shop before she did, "Sensei!"

 "It's an emergency!" Jay shouted, finally reaching the doors.

 "We need you!" Kai added.

 "It's important!" Lizz stressed.

 "Boys," Misako scolded from behind the counter, "...and Lizz... not so loud! Can't you see we have our first customers?"

 The little girl from said customers walked up to Jay, "Wow! The real Ninja! Can you shock me?"

 Jay made an uneasy noise, brushing past the girl, "Uh... Not now, kid. Maybe later, okay?" he leaned an elbow on the counter and whispered at Misako, "Where's Wu?"

Speak of the devil and he shall appear... Lizz saw her uncle walking out from a back room, just as Kai alerted the others of his presence, "Sensei!"

 "Yes...?" Sensei Wu gave the group a wary look, as if he knew they'd done something wrong.

 "We were getting the word out-" Kai began.

 Cole shoved forward, "And then there was this wind!"

 "And our powers disappeared!" Zane added.

 "You were using your powers?!" Sensei facepalmed.

 "Yeah, I know," Jay stepped up, "We're terrible students but what happened to our powers?!"

 The wind outside picked up even more, turning the rickety old windmill. Lizz shuddered, hoping what Sensei would say would make her worse fears disappear, "If your powers are gone... then something must have happened to-"

 He cut off, looking out the wide open doors at an approaching figure. Sensei grabbed his hat, holding it against the wind, and picked up his staff. Lizz turned and looked, squinting against the harsh winds, "Lloyd..." she squeaked, her insides splintering. There was something all too different about him as he pulled down his hood.

 The little girl gasped, holding her father's hand, "It's Lloyd!" she pointed at the Green Ninja standing on the opposite side of the yard.

 "I know those winds..." Sensei Wu mumbled, glaring at the figure as the Ninja ran out, "That's not Lloyd!"

 "What do you mean that's not-" Lizz ran out, following at Kai's heels, "Lloyd!"

 "Step aside," Lloyd waved his arm, wishing the wall of Ninja out of his way. His voice was deeper, scratchier.

 "Lloyd," Jay took a few steps forward, the others following, "What's wrong with you?"

 "I want a word with your master," he replied over the wind's howling.

 Jay looked taken aback, "Whoa..."he mumbled, looking towards the others, "Lloyd's gone through puberty..."

 "What's gotten into him?" Cole asked, ignoring Jay's comment.

 Zane did a quick run down, "I sense some type of foreign entity has entered his body. So the question is not what, but who has gotten into him."

 Lizz ignored how wrong that truly sounded and took a deep breath to shout over the wind, "Whoever you are-"

 "Whatever beef you have with Sensei," Kai continued, "You have with us! Give us back our friend!"

 "Give me back my brother!" Lizz snarled, running forward.

 "Lizz!" Zane yelled at her.

 "What?!" she skidded to a stop a few feet in head of the group, looking back at them. Her voice was layered with venom, "Do you really expect me to stand there and do nothing?!"

 "How are we supposed to fight a friend?" Cole asked.

 "Let me show you!" Lloyd suddenly shouted. Lizz turned back to face him in time to see his skin turn pale and his hair go jet black--that alone made Lizz's stomach drop to her feet. He cracked his neck and ran forward, stopping just inches in front of Lizz before jumping up and blasting them with a forceful gust of wind.

 It knocked Lizz back, sending her tumbling into the other four. They all fell down like bowling pins and continued flying backwards. Jay was the first to stand up, "Great. We don't have powers but he does?!"

 Cole led them all back at Lloyd. Who was still hovering. His maniacal laughter mixed spookily with the gusts of wind. One by one each of the Ninja got kicked to the side without even getting a chance to defend themselves.  

 Cole stood up with a grunt, "Well we may not have powers, but we still know a little thing called Spinjitzu!" with that being declared he broke into his Spinjitzu, headed straight for Lloyd. Lloyd braced himself against the ground and waved his arms, sending a rush of wind at Cole. He got knocked off balance and went soaring back towards the shop, hitting the wooden wall with a splat.

 "So not only does he have powers," Jay looked from Cole to Lloyd, "But he can control the wind too?!"

 Lizz was still laying flat on her back, not having much willpower to stand back up. Jay went and tried Spinjitzu, too, spinning straight for Lloyd. Except, he got caught up in a bad backdraft of air and went up instead of forward, his tornado spluttering out as Jay, too, went flying just as Cole had. 

 "Our Spinjitzu is worthless against the wind!" Lizz snapped, finally standing up, "We're hurting ourselves more than him when we try it!"

 Zane suddenly ran past with his silver shurikens in hand and Lloyd scoffed, "Shurikens? Cute. Try this on for size!" he waved an arm at the windmill. It began spinning faster and faster until the blades broke off and went straight for the Ninja.

 It hit them head on, knocking them all back on their backs. Then a flurry of wind picked Kai up and flung him right by the truck that Misako and the two customers were using as an escape, "Get up..." the little girl urged, "Please. Ninja never quit!" Kai got up, holding his shoulder, just as the three jumped into the truck and sped away.

 Lloyd yelled out in anger and pulled Cole towards him at an alarming speed, punching him square in the jaw the moment Cole was by him. As a result, Cole flew backwards and landed on his head. He didn't jump back up right away like usual.

 Lizz ran over to his side, "Cole... Cole!" she slapped him on the cheek a little, "Wake up!"

 His eyes fluttered open and he sat up, holding the back of his head a little, "Thanks. Now let's go!"

 As soon as they stood up Zane, Jay and Kai knocked into them, leaving the five a groaning, aching mess on the ground. Kai sat up, "Whe-where is he?!"

 "The shop!" Lizz flopped over on her stomach, waving frantically at the open doors of the shop. Lloyd was silhouetted against the light from inside and he was yelling at Nya, "Go stock some shelves! Before you get hurt..."

 Nya banged her fist on the counter, "I'll take you on any day!"

Sensei Wu appeared and put a hand on her shoulder, "Stay back, Nya. It's me he wants."

"Not you," Lloyd snapped, "I came for your father's staff."

"I see you have found the Allied Armour, Morro," Sensei replied calmly, "But you have not summoned your friends."

"Your pathetic students haven't given me a reason to," he replied, waving a lazy hand back out into the darkening courtyard.

Jay wobbled to his feet, "Hey, hey, hey! Nobody calls me pathetic!"   

Lloyd slammed shut the doors, sending out another heavy gust of wind that sent the Ninja sliding back a few feet. Lizz jumped to her feet, "Who the hell is Morro?!"

"I don't know!" Cole called back.

Suddenly the shop doors burst back open and Nya and Sensei Wu ran out, "To the barn!" Nya called through her panting.  

"I am not running away from Lloyd!" Lizz stomped her foot, glaring at Nya and Sensei.

Wu stopped, "We will not win this fight today!" he told her.

Cole, Jay and Zane all ran to follow Nya and Sensei. Kai put a hand on Lizz's shoulder, "I'm not running from him, either."  

  She shook off his hand and glowered at the shop, waiting for Lloyd to come back out. Through the open doors came a voice was became angrier with each word, "Give... Me... The STAFF!" a swift burst of air blew back open both doors and sent Lizz and Kai sliding back a few feet, but they were far enough where they didn't fall over again.  

 Lizz looked up as The Bounty suddenly lifted off the ground, hovering above the yard. Zane, Cole and Jay were all looking over the deck, conversing about something. She watched them through her hair that was being whipped around, wondering if they'd come to help.

 A loud crash got her attention back on ground level and when she looked Lloyd was hurtling towards her. He took hold of the front of her shirt, holding Lizz close, "Foolish Ninja!" he snapped, moving a hand around her throat, "Why would you try to take me on all by yourself?"

 "I'm not," she bit into the wrist of his right hand. With a scream Lloyd released her, but not without a kick that sent her tumbling ass-over-tea-kettle.

 Kai jumped on Lloyd's back, holding an arm around his neck, "I know you're in there Lloyd! Fight him!" 

 "Let go of me!" Lloyd growled, reaching behind him to grasp at Kai. He couldn't, though; his arms weren't long enough. 

 "Only when you let go of Lloyd!" Kai countered.

 Lizz got back up, her head throbbing and ran towards the two to help in some way, but stopped when Lloyd took on a vulnerable expression, his real voice coming through, "...Kai... Lizz... help me..."

 "Lloyd?!" Kai and Lizz whispered, "Is that you?" Kai bent down to look at Lloyd's face.

 Lloyd began growling again just as The Bounty's anchor dropped, scraping against the cobblestones as it hooked in Kai's pants. Kai grabbed onto the scruff of Lizz's shirt before she could run back at Lloyd, "Let me go!" she thrashed around in Kai's grip, "Let me go! We need to help Lloyd!"

"Ha-ha!" Cole cheered from the deck, "A perfect wedgie... And a two-fer, too!"
