Nya's POV

It has been five years since Jay and Lloyd went missing.  Justin, Alex, and Max are all 6 years old now.  In those five years, the others got married and had kids.  Cole and Seliel had a son, Mason, who's 4 years old and a daughter, Harper, who's 2 years old.  Kai and Skylor had a daughter, Juliet, who's 4 years old and a son, Zeke, who's 2 years old.  Zane and PIXAL had built themselves a daughter, Rosie, who's 4 years old and a son, Felix, who's 2 years old.

After they disappeared, Britney ended up quitting her job at Borg Industries.  When Cyrus Borg heard what had happened to Jay and Lloyd and then found out Britney's connection to Lloyd, he understood.  She just wanted to stay with Max all the time which I understand.  I've also become pretty protective over Justin and Alex.  We haven't left the monastery since to make sure our kids are protected.  Justin, Alex, and Max are currently being homeschooled for 1st grade.  The others have also decided to do homeschool for their children, at least for now.  Juliet, Mason, and Rosie are currently being homeschooled for preschool.

Cole and Kai are currently out on some secret mission.  No one knows where they went.  They've gone on a lot of secret mission during the past five years.  Seliel and Skylor get annoyed with how they go on secret missions when they should be spending time with their kids.

Cole and Kai have been determined to find out what happened to Jay and Lloyd.  Zane has concluded that they're most likely dead by now.  Britney and I know that they are still alive.  They have to be.

"Hey mommy!" Alex snapped me out of my thoughts.  "Thinking about daddy?"  Alex may not understand what happened, but she does wish that her father was around.

"Yeah," I said.  I hold out my arms for a hug and she goes right into them.

Lloyd's POV

I wake up in the same cell that I've woken up in for who knows how long.  Jay and I seriously don't know how long it has been.  Jay was already awake and looking over the new injuries that I received to see if there are any he can patch up.  This is our normal routine.

I miss Britney and Max and I know that Jay misses Nya and his kids,

The entire time we've been here we've been forced to fight.  We've also been tortured, beaten, and drugged.  Now that I'm thinking about it, Jay is always patching me up, but I've never taken a look at how injured he is.  We've both gotten beaten up pretty good.  I know that I have cuts and bruises, probably some broken bones, and maybe a concussion, but how bad of a shape is he in?  I've never bothered to check.  Am I a bad friend?

Jay crawls back a little after looking over me.  I notice him clutching his stomach in pain.  Well, this cements it.  I am a bad friend!

"Jay," I said concerned.  "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine," He said.  "Don't worry about me.  Why don't you get some rest before we have to battle again?"

It's clear that he's not just fine.  I should look over him to see if there's any way I can help him.  I crawl over to him.  Neither of us in any shape to really stand, at least probably not without being in tremendous pain.  "Jay, let me take a look at your injuries."

"It's ok.  I can do it myself."

Has he been looking over himself this whole time?  He's been looking over the both of us?!  Why have I not noticed this?  Every time after he looks over my injuries, he allows me to rest and he looks over his own!  I'm not just a bad friend, I'm the worst friend!  I need to make it up to him.  "I insist, Jay.  Let me take a look."  I look over his injuries and it looks just as bad, if not worse, than mine.  I really should've been looking over his injuries the entire time.

We hear somebody banging on the cage again.  We know what that means.  "Time for the arena!" a man tells us who we are used to seeing by now.  He's tall and very muscular.  In our condition, we don't put up a fight when we start getting dragged to the arena.  They have people who pay to watch us fight in the arena.  I guess there are just people who like to watch elemental masters get beat up.

Cole's POV

Kai and I are on a secret mission.  We didn't tell anyone what we were doing.  We've been doing a lot of secret missions since Jay and Lloyd disappeared, but it's because we have been trying to figure out where they were taken.  We've gotten ourselves into some pretty shady stuff just trying to find them.  Somebody tipped us off about some arena where they've been forcing a couple of elemental masters to fight, so that's where we currently are.  We went undercover to see if the elemental masters that are being forced to fight are them.

Our powers don't work here which means that vengestone is probably surrounding the place which isn't good for if this is where Jay and Lloyd have been the whole time.

I'm on one end of the stands and Kai is on the other.  We just want our best friends back.  Jay is my best friend and Lloyd is Kai's.  We made a promise after they disappeared to find them and not stop until we do.

All of a sudden, I hear a voice come over the speakers.  "Are you ready for the fight?!  Today, we have fan favorite, The Beast!"  A strong man who looks completely insane walks out.  "He will be going up against the elemental masters of lightning and energy!"  They are here!  Jay and Lloyd walk out, but they look very beaten and clearly in pain.  They're in no shape for a fight!

No one's POV

Jay and Lloyd got ready to fight.  They knew that the fight would probably end pretty quickly in their condition.  The Beast swung at them, but they managed to dodge it.  The Beast then started charging at Lloyd.

"LLOYD!!!" Jay yelled and pushed him out of the way, taking the hit instead.  Jay flew back into the wall and fell unconcious.

"JAY!!!"  Lloyd couldn't believe how Jay took the hit for him.  Jay kept taking care of him.  Lloyd dodged a few attacks until one hit him dead on and he flew back into the wall and fell unconcious next to Jay.

People came out and dragged away Jay and Lloyd who were unconcious.  Cole and Kai stood in the stands, shocked at what their friends had been enduring.  They knew that it was time to break Jay and Lloyd out!

Kai's POV

After all this time, Cole and I actually found them!  Everything we have done these past five years to figure out where they were taken has finally paid off, but we need to get them out of here!  They put up hardly any fight against that guy and don't look like they could currently last in a fight with anyone.

Cole and I snuck around to the back.  We have to find them!  We don't want to be seen.  If we get caught, that could put the whole mission in jeopardy.  All of a sudden, Cole stopped.

"What are you doing?" I whispered.

"Look over there," he whispered back.  We saw the people that dragged Jay and Lloyd away toss them in a cell.  They left one guy there to guard the cell and he had a key.

Cole and I looked at each other and nodded.  We snuck over to the guy without being seen and knocked him out.  Cole grabbed the key and we turned our attention to the cage.  We see Jay and Lloyd in there, but they're barely moving!  They look awful!

"Cole, we have to get them out of here!" I told him.

"I'm with you, Kai," Cole said.  He opened the cage.

No one's POV

Cole and Kai ran into the cage.  Cole went over to Jay and Kai went over to Lloyd.

"Come on!  Wake up!" Cole said as he gently shook Jay.

"Come on Lloyd!" Kai said as he gently shook Lloyd.

Lloyd slowly opened his eyes and looked up at Kai.  "Kai?  I-is that really you?"

"Yeah.  I'm here."

"Come on Jay!" Cole said, still trying to wake Jay up.

Jay slowly opened his eyes and looked up at Cole.  "Cole?"

Cole smiled and released a breath he didn't even know he was holding.  "You're ok.  We're gonna get you out of here."  He looked over to Lloyd and Kai.  "Both of you."

"How long have we been here?" Lloyd asked.

"You guys don't know?!" Kai said surprised.

"It's been five years," Cole answered.

"FIVE YEARS!!!" Jay and Lloyd exclaimed in unison.

"You can deal with the shock later," Cole said.  "Right now, we have to go!"

Cole slung Jay's arm over his shoulder and Kai did the same thing with Lloyd.  Cole and Kai supported Jay and Lloyd as they walked back towards the arena to get out.  Unfortunately for them, the guy who took Jay and Lloyd as well as a bunch of guys who work for him were waiting.  "Well, well, well," he started.  "Where do you think you are going with my competitors?"

"They're not competitors!" Cole yelled.

"They're prisoners!" Kai finished.

"After this, I'll have two more competitors, prisoners, whatever you want to call it," he said.

Cole and Kai looked at Jay and Lloyd, who were in no shape for a fight.  They leaned Jay and Lloyd against the wall.  "We'll handle this," Cole said.  "You two stay back."  Cole and Kai started to fight.  They were winning, knocking the men down left and right, until they heard their friends scream.  They turned around to see that a couple of the men had grabbed Jay and Lloyd and were holding knives up to their necks.

"I guess I have the upper hand," the guy in charge said.

"Cole, what do we do?" Kai whispered.

"I called in a friend," Cole whispered back.

Everyone starts hearing a noise and looks up to the sky to see Ronin flying in R.E.X.  He comes down low and the guys holding Jay and Lloyd let them go and the two ninja collapse.

The men that were holding them run off.  "Cowards!" their boss yells at them.

Cole and Kai picked up Jay and Lloyd, who were surprisingly light, and hopped aboard R.E.X.  Cole and Kai looked at each other, knowing how light they were was not healthy.

"Where are we going?" Ronin asked.

"We have to get them to a hospital," Cole said.

"On it!"

Cole's POV

When we arrived at the hospital, doctors and nurses quickly came out to take Jay and Lloyd.  "Are these the two ninja who disappeared five years ago?" one nurse asked.

"Yes, they are," I answered.

They put Jay and Lloyd on gurneys and took them away, making me and Kai wait in the waiting room.  I took out my phone because everyone needs to know.  I used our group text that we had set up.

Cole: Every1 come 2 the hospital NOW
