Long ago in the 15th century of Japan there were the ninja. The cunning assassins of the night who were swift cunning and experts at killing their targets. That is true but not entirely.

For you see the ninja were more than just assassins. Some were gifted with the amazing ability to communicate with Yokai.

While Ninja and Yokai in a form of harmony one Yokai did not like this. This Yokai was Konton other whose known as the Oni of Chaos. Konton was not the only one who hated unity. 

A ninja master who was called Shi Kuro this was because his true name was lost throughout time.

Konton and Shi Kuro gathered 6 oni generals and led an army of stone samurai and shadow ninjas against the ninja and normal humans.

The only thing powerful enough to stop them were the four crystal Shuriken. Each with an elemental power. The Black Diamond Shuriken of the north with its power over rock and stone. The Ruby Shuriken of the south with its intense fire powers. The Pearl Shuriken of the east with the chilling powers of ice. Finally the Jade Shuriken of the West with its powers over the winds.

Konton and Shi Kuro Both believed they had won but four legendary ninja each wielding a crystal Shuriken defeated Konton and Shi Kuro sealing them,the oni generals the stone samurai army and the shadow ninja army away.

After the battle the truth of Ninjas faded away and their history became that of them being assassins.

Once they went into hiding a group of six elders formed the council of masters and they hid their city and made four temples for each of the crystal Shuriken.

It is unknown who created the crystal Shuriken but the Shuriken choose who wields them. The reason why there are four Shuriken is because of unity.

Four sides to a square. Four points of a diamond. Four compass directions.

It is said that 518 years later Konton and Shi Kuro will awaken to enact their revenge on the world but four ninjas will be chosen by the Crystal Shuriken. Because of this an academy has been created to train ninja. It is known as Ninin Academy
