PROLOGUE

Monica Robertson was known to the world for being the first black woman to drive in Formula One, since she entered the pinnacle of motorsport in the year of 1984.

It was not without its challenges, but she found that some of her fellow drivers had her back and supported her, even when she struggled to keep her seat and sponsorships.

As the years passed, she grew more and more confident with her racing and began to win a couple of races and she knew that she was proving to the world that she deserved to be there and that she had earned her seat and her title as a Formula One driver.

Then, in 2014, a woman with the same name suddenly appeared within Formula One and it was only when retired Formula One driver Monica was seen supporting her on the inside of her garage did the world realise that she had given birth to a daughter, who was now determined to do the same as her mother and be successful.

It took a couple of years to settle down and become more consistent just like it had taken her, but eventually her daughter was able to show the world that it wasn't just her mother who deserved to have a seat in Formula One.

There was only space for so many drivers within the Formula One Hall of Fame and Monica and Tianna Robertson were part of that selection.
