Hello !

First, thanks to read the book I am going to make, it's a good pleasure for me to write it !!

Since I saw the first trailer of Octopath Traveler, I had really fallen in love with the game and I loved all the characters ! The game is so beautiful and I am so happy that there will be 80 to 100 hours of gameplay !

As a matter of fact, I haven't played the first demo in September 2017 because I only had my nintendo switch for christmas. However, I will play the second 3 hours demo with at least two protagonists.

Previously, I had an account on wattpad for requesting some stories from others authors, but I have so many ideas recently and I want to have a place in this site.

That's why I'm making this book based of the Octopath Traveler universe, where there will be around 30 detailed chapters.

Indeed, I don't think this will be the only book and maybe I will make a sequel if this story is so successful. I think I will also upload this book on deviantart, quote tv, and maybe fanfiction.

Anyway, this story is based on the first chapters of each protagonist. Also, I want the hero, my original character, to be a very young kid (6 years old it's surprising I know), who get sucked into the game, and meet each characters separately.

Effectively I want the game's universe to be seen from a child's point of view (I like the stories where the hero is a young kid), where every 8 protagonists will interact differently with him compared to an older OC. The cheerful kid could bring a bit of happiness for each characters who want to protect him !

Before, I was planning to make a child reader story, but I finally decided to make an original character for some reasons. It's a boy whose name is Travis (like the first 4 letters in the word « traveler ») and he will be the ninth traveler: that's why I called my book « NINEPATH TRAVELER ».

I don't know what will be my writing rhythm, but if wait for buying the game, maybe I will have a break after I played the entire demo and before I buy the full game.

Most important, I'm originally french, so I will play the game in french, but I will write the story in english to attract a wider audience. Maybe it won't be very good, especially during the scenes based on the game cutscenes where I need to translate them again, but I'll do my best.

To sum up, this story will be based of my playthrough of the game. I won't reveal you immediately the order of the characters Travis will meet, but relationship between him and the characters will be quite specific with the noble or rogue path taken by the characters.

P.S.: I have chosen the soundtrack artwork of the game for the book picture because I really loved it, but I think it is not centred very well. I'm sorry if we only see Therion's arm XD
