Ninenzaka46 Information
Ninenzaka46 (二年坂46) is the fifth group part of the Sakamichi Series of groups produced by Akimoto Yasushi, the producer of AKB48 and it's sister groups.
The group consists of 40 members and 3 generations, and formed on May 18th 2021, and officially debuted on June 8th, 2021.
The group is named after the famous Ninenzaka sloped path in Kyoto, Japan. It's the first of the Sakamichi groups to be named after a path instead of street, as well as the first to be named after a location outside of Tokyo.
