OSAKI NIJIKA TO GO ON HIATUS FROM NINENZAKA46

1st Generation member of Ninenzaka46 Osaki Nijika has announced her hiatus from the group.

Ninenzaka46 is less than 2 months old, and a member has already announced they will be suspending activities. However, it's not for bad reason.

Nijika had sustained an ankle injury during filming of a live performance of Ninenzaka46's second single, So~Yu~Toku Aru Yo Ne? .

Nijika is one of the more popular members of the group, becoming a member of the Koun'na Eight for both of Ninenzaka46's singles.

As a result, Nijika will not be participating in the group's upcoming Janken Tournament to decide the center for their third single, to be released sometime in August.
