I woke up next to him. His sleeping face was so cute. Then he suddenly opened his eyes.

"Were you watching me?" He said, stretching. When I noticed he was shirtless. That's when I realized how much more toned and built his muscles really were compared to Daichi. He was covered in scares. I touched one.

"I'm an ninja assassin. It was the only way I could support myself. I'm not to proud of it." He said, when I laid across his chest looking at all his scares. Which made me want to protect him even more. Then he cupped my face in his hand. When he reached up and kissed me. It was very compassionate. He smiled pulling away when I kissed him back. He was shocked when I pulled away.

"I never did get your name. Mines Kayto." He said, running his fingers through my hair.

"Yuki." I replied.

"Yuki." He repeated smiling. He leaned and kissed me again. When he pulled away I nuzzled him.

When we got up he made breakfast. I fixed the bed. Then we ate breakfast. He was an amazing cook. After we were done we went into the kitchen.

"Listen baby girl I have a job to do later. I can't take you. I don't know what I would do with myself if you would get hurt." He said, wrapping his strong arms around me.

"Only if you promise me you'll be careful." I replied. When a kitsune falls in love we only fall in love once.

"Always." He said, I looked into his eyes.

"I promise baby girl I just need to know you'll be safe." He continued.

"I'll be fine. I'm stronger then I look." I replied. He smiled and kissed me. I watched as he left. Then I sighed.
I walk back to the palace. I knew I couldn't let them know about Kayto. I snuck in through the window and snuck into my room. When I noticed someone sitting on my bed. I froze when I realize it was Ren.

"Where have you been?" He demanded.

"No where besides what would you care." I said sarcastically.

"Your my fiance. I have a right to know." He said, I couldn't help but laugh.

"Sorry but I can't marry someone I don't love and no offence Ren I don't even know you let alone love you." I replied.

"Well father insist on it." He said angrily.

"Sorry Ren you know I can't. Now be honest what do you want not your father you?" I asked, his expression softened.

"I don't want this either. I mean we hardly know each other. Plus I have a woman I love." He said.

"So then why not tell your dad that?" I questioned.

"Because he'd be disappointed in me." He said, looking down.

"I'm sure he'll understand. He's your father he wouldn't care as long as your happy." I reassured him.

"You think so?" He asked.

"I know so. Your father acts a lot like my old man trust me." I said, he smiled.

"Thanks Yuki I appreciate it." He replied.

"Your welcome." I smiled he hugged me and walked out. Then I walked out. I was walking down the street when I seen Aiya.
I ran up behind her.

"Guess who." I whispered in her ear.

"Yuki." She said, turning around and hugging me.

"So how have you been?" She asked, as we walked down the street.

"Good I got a special someone." I said, she smiled.

"Is he good to you does he treat you right?" She asked.

"Very he spoils me and takes very good care of me." I blushed. She giggled.

"Good I'm happy for you." She said, hugging me then we went our separate ways. I walked down the street and bought a bottle of sake. Then I went back to Kaytos house. He lived at the edge of town so he didn't really have any neighbors. So I sat on the back porch and drank some sake. I was so bored waiting for Kayto I ended up drinking more then I intended and ended up laying on the porch staring at the sky. It was a perfect day clear blue sky barely a cloud in the sky and a nice gentle breeze.

"Todays a perfect day for a run." I said, to myself. So I turned into my fox form and ran through the woods. My real fox form was huge because Ichigo was so old and powerful. The older a kitsune is the more powerful it is. When a kitsune gains it's ninth tail their fur turns white or gold. It take years for them to gain their tails. So I was lucky Ichigo was so old when she gave me her power. I missed her so much everyday knowing I'd never see her again. I stopped when I seen Kayto laying down at the base of a tree. He was injured. I ran over when I heard men walking over so I hid. Kayto hadn't seemed to of noticed me. Three men walked over to him that were all samurai. One of the men grabbed him by the neck. He somehow looked very familiar but I couldn't remember why.

"Nice try assassin but we caught you instead." He said, pulling out his sword. I ran out and kicked him and he dropped Kayto.

"Shit its a kitsune." One of the men said, when I walked in front of Kayto and roared. They took off running into the woods. Then I turned back into my human form and knelt down in front of him. He had been stabbed in his abdomen. I ripped his shirt and wrapped around him where he had been stabbed to stop the bleeding.

"I told you not to come out here but thank you for saving my ass." Kayto groaned in pain.

"Your welcome you can yell at me later." I said, when I heard something rustling in the bushes. I got up and looked around. When I thought I heard someone call my name. It was the same familiar woman's voice from before.

"Did you hear anything?" I asked Kayto.

"No baby girl I didn't hear anything." He replied.

"Never mind must just be me." I said, picking him up and throwing him over my shoulder. I ran back to the house. I took him in through the back door. I laid him on the table. I grabbed the medicine and a clean wet clothe. I ripped open his shirt. I cleaned his wound, put medicine on it, and stitched him up.

Then I wiped all the blood off and wrapped him up with a badge. I helped him get up when he suddenly hugged me.

"Thank you." He said, I walked him to his room and he laid down on the bed. I gave him some medicine for the pain. I tilted his head and lifted the cup to his mouth. He drank it. I put the cup up and fed him soup. When he was done I took everything to the kitchen and cleaned the dishes. I walked back in and laid down beside him when he pulled me onto his chest. I didn't want to hurt him so I tried to move but he held me down with his strong arms.

"Dearest please I don't want to hurt you." I said, trying to move but he wasn't budging.

"I know baby girl but you aren't hurting me. You hardly weigh anything your as light as a feather." He said, kissing my head.

"You know your running out of food I'll have to go get some tomorrow." I replied.

"Alright just promise me you'll be careful." He said, running his fingers through my hair.

"You know I will." I replied, looking up at him. He read a story to me as I fell asleep again.
