After finishing his homework, Adrien suits up and looks in the mirror, thinking about what really happened that night at the pet store. He doesn't remember anything of ending in the dumpster, "All just went blank and then I was there, it felt like I was blacking out" He said to himself.

"You really don't remember?" Plagg jumped on the sink counter.

"No. Did they sedate me or something?" Adrien wondered.

"I wish I knew, kitten." Plagg lied.

"Well, first things first, Ladybug. And then to the pet store" Adrien puts on the mask.

He leaps out of the mansion to find her, intending to show Paris a real fight. On the other paw, he thought of kissing her for real for revenge for getting kicked in the stomach. He made a long jump to the next roof and his enhanced hearing heard Ladybug swinging her yo-yo.

"There you are, Bugaboo" He ran in her direction.

His hearing led her to the alley but he doesn't see her. He used his claws on the walls to slow down his fall and landed in a crouching pose.

Ladybug came out of the corner and lifts her fists up, with him doing the same, and threw one punch and a kick at her only for her to move aside and punch at him. He tries a left hook but she dodged and kicks at him twice. Cat Noir then tries a spin kick but Ladybug dodges and kicks at him, only for him to catch her leg and hit her thigh.

"AAAGH!" She yelps in pain as Cat Noir soon threw punches at her.

And then with a hard kick, he sent her to the floor, "Getting too much bad luck, huh?" He leans to the wall.

"Agh....." She sits up, "I don't believe in bad luck" She groaned.

"Black cats do," Cat Noir said.

"Not just that, furball! Rumors are going around saying we are a loving couple" Ladybug stands up.

"Oh, really? Looks like its chemistry building up between the hero and the villain" Cat Noir joked.

"We're not dating for your information!" Ladybug replied angrily.

"To you were not but the public thinks we are. Ladybugs bring good luck, milady." He used his whip on her to pull her towards him, "My lovely lady, I always believe in love" He kissed her hard on the lips.

Ladybug's eyes widen as the feline burglar kissed her, "Mmmmmmmmmwah, how was that, Bugaboo?" Cat Noir pulled from the kiss.

"You.......stole......my first.......kiss!" She stammered and tried to punch him but he caught her fist.

"Too bad, that was my first one as well" Cat Noir grinned.

"Why do you have to be so annoying?!" Ladybug yanks her fist away from him.

"I dunno, maybe to test your patience," Cat Noir said, folding his arms.

"A lady has patience, thank you very much" Ladybug glared.

"Not from what I see. Anyways, here's the stolen artifact" He tossed the scarab gem to her.

"Why are you returning it?" Ladybug asked.

"I don't need it. Besides, I'm on a dangerous mission of my own. So you do your thing, I do mine" Cat Noir said seductively.

"Whatever you say, Kitty, bon voyage" Ladybug swings away.

Cat Noir ran to find the secret lab laying below the pet shop, to get to the bottom of it. The pet shop was closed but it doesn't stop him. He used his claws to make a circle on the glass door. He reached his arm inside to unlock the door and gets inside, most of the animals were asleep except the fishes in the aquarium tanks. He then hears music playing loudly down below. Must be a party night but he has to see for himself. He quietly went in the Employee Only door and did his stealth to follow the music getting louder. The lab had a nightclub downstairs. He walked downstairs to blend in with the crowd so no one suspects him.

He walked to the bar and placed his claws near the bartender, "What can I do for you?" The bartender asked.

"Just a glass of milk to start with," Cat Noir said and looks back to see the adults dancing.

Scientists and gangsters, he sees. Whoever is in charge here will have to talk to his claws. The only thing he remembers is that these scientists were using animal DNA for whatever reason. Maybe for money? Or using human DNA on animals to make them more intelligent like a human.

Once getting his glass of milk, he looked after the right one to talk to. The person looked familiar like he was chased by him before that night when he blacked out. He took a sip of his milk in one gulp and sets it down, "That must be him" He got up to follow him.

But first, he had to blend in with the crowd of dancers by being sexy like a feline and using his whip to make them move aside. He turns his head to look at the person he's looking for and then bent back after making a pounce-like posture. He pulls the whip out and smacks it at the floor while approaching. He looks up at a metal beam and wraps the whip to swing over to him, landing near him.

"Who the hell are you? A little early for Halloween, boy" The man said.

"The name's Cat Noir, the new guy in town" Cat Noir replied.

"What do you want with me?" The man asked.

"What is your purpose with the animal experiments?" Cat Noir asked.

"I'm afraid that's top-secret" The man refused to tell.

Cat Noir hissed and kicks him out the door to the halls to fight him. He can tell that the man is lying and he will force him to tell him about the disappearance of the boy.

But the man refused and the next thing he knew he was thrown outside into the garbage. He tried to punch at Cat Noir but was countered with the strike of his claws and kicks. After doing a cartwheel flip, Cat Noir stood up as the man tried to reach for his gun but it was missing.

"Looking for this?" Cat Noir said and tossed the gun away, then drew his whip as the man tried to get the gun.

And in a choke hold, he threw the guy at the wall. He got up and they engaged in a rapid fist fight which ended with Cat Noir dominating him by knocking him off balance to pounce him.

"Now that I got your attention, you are gonna answer my questions. The other night there was an innocent boy that disappeared. What happened to him?!" Cat Noir demanded an answer by striking his claws.

"We tossed him away to dispose of the evidence he discovered in our secret lab!" The man said.

"You killed him?!" Cat Noir gasped, remembering the gunshot and then waking up in a dumpster by a cat.

"Yes! I had to!" The man gets scared of the claws.

"That boy was very young!" Cat Noir snarled.

"That boy has no business sneaking in the pet shop, fleabag!" The man had no care.

"He's a friend of mine!" Cat Noir clawed him in the face in anger and punched him to knock him out. He then heard men with guns coming this way.

"Time to go" He pulls his whip to smack the floor to spook them and then went to the lab room to escape through the air vents.

"Where did he go?!" One of the thugs asked.

"Search the area!" Another said.

"What the hell is he?!" Another one asked.

"I don't know but he's freaky" One thug replied.

Cat Noir rolled his eyes and crawled into the air ducts to leave. At least he got one piece of information out but the only question is what brought him back to life? No human can survive getting shot in the chest.

"Was I granted nine lives after being shot?" He wondered.

He reached the exit vent and kicked it to get out, crawling out of there and jumping on the alley walls to the roof. From there, he saw Ladybug standing there with her arms crossed.

"So, hunting mice I guess?" She asked.

"Maybe. We really need to stop running into each other like this, milady." Cat Noir said.

"I just returned the scarab to the museum," Ladybug said.

"Yeah, so?" Cat Noir said.

"Which means you are not such a bad guy," Ladybug said.

"I'm not always a bad kitty, Ladybug" Cat Noir said.

"Hmph, you sound like you've been through a very rough childhood" Ladybug guessed.

"You have no idea. Since a family of mine passed away" Cat Noir said.

"Oh, well I'm sorry about that" Ladybug said.

"Anyways, this cat needs to take a cat nap. See you tomorrow night, milady" He kissed her hand.

"See you soon, kitty" Ladybug said quietly.
