Chapter Four
"Are you fucking bipolar?!" Kine yelled, crawling off of her. Somewhere, deep down in his deep cold heart, he felt a little pity for her. Even if she was his 'enemy', he felt bad for her. Zaki quietly cried out of just her left eye, gripping her face with bruised knuckles.
"Look..." Kine started, turning his head and scratching his neck nervously.
"I'm sorry. I guess I was a dick. And I shouldn't have been. I'm sorry." He repeated. This weird feeling brewed inside of him. It didn't seem to be one he'd felt before. Cringing, he looked away again.
"Well? You gonna answer me or what?" He asked roughly again.
"Please... P-please don't yell at me..." She whimpered quietly. Kine stood from his wooden chair and knocked it to the ground without any grace. He stomped over to the bed, sitting on it and sitting above her. His legs were on the sides of hers, as he sat on her knees. Removing her hands from her face, he leaned in close.
"I won't yell at you. Anymore. Calm down." He whispered, a faint hint of softness in his voice. Zaki, unfamiliar of this kindness possessed in Kine, nodded faintly with a light blush.
"Thank you." He said softly, staring down at her. Zaki stared up at him, her icy blue hues meeting his deep red ones.
"Kine..."
