[2] Echo? I didnt hear an echo?
I was sat in the dreadful class of maths again, with Billie Joe behind me. Once the teacher had finished speaking the class began to chatter away, as I felt someone tap on my shoulder I turned around. To be faced in the same green eyes of the boy from yesterday. Billie Joes.
"Hey, I didn't get your name yesterday," He mentioned more casual than he moaned to his friends, smiling already.
"Too bad for you." I teased turning around.
"No- no come on!" He pleaded. I slowly turned back around trying not to laugh. "Just tell me sweetheart," He smiled.
"If I tell you will you stop calling me sweetheart?"
"I can try, but no promises," He winked.
I rolled my eyes. "Echo,"
"Echo? What do you mean echo? I don't hear no echo I'm asking for you name," He drew his eyebrows down at me confused before looking around, I couldn't help but laugh. He was oddly quite adorable.
"No, my names echo. Nimrod."
"Your names- wow. Was your mom a hippie?" He asked. And other times, I didn't find him so cute.
"You're one to speak, Billie Joe, is your mom a red neck?"
He smirked, he could have taken that the wrong way but he didn't thank God. He laughed. "No, she's not believe it or not,"
"Well my mom is not a hippie,"
"Okay okay, I'm sorry I asked. I was curious." He smiled to me innocently. "Hey sweethe- I mean, Echo. Can you help me on this question?" He asked me. Looking up. Purposely saying sweetheart again. It didn't make me angry But God did it give me a twisty feeling in my guts.
"I don't think so," I simpered.
"Come on Echo, I'll ask nicely." He smiled. "Please?" He asked again. Blinking his eyelashes at me.
"You're an idiot." I rolled my eyes. Morley to myself than him.
"Am I an idiot you can grow to like or am I an idiot you wanna punch?"
"Weirdly enough," I thought looking at him. "Both."
He nodded, almost like he was taking notes up there in his little brain head. "I can live with that."
