That was the exact mentality of Kathir on waking up and see the angel of his dreams fast approach him in Swift steps ,

He didnt even know where he was and what had happened ,

But .... without any second thoughts ,this question had slipped his mouth ,

Kathir : Yendi ennaiya vittu pona ?

Those were the first words spoken by Kathir , on regaining back his consciousness after a  period of one looonnng  week , leaving every single soul in that room in absolute shock .

A turmoil of one whole week had come to an end .

The anxious doctors and medical unit had worked their heart and lungs out this one whole week without a break ,

KN industries had been successfully running without even knowing its owner was in grave danger _

Sadha had really over  worked like a monster these seven days without letting out this secret even to the close associates of the firm .

Added to it was the mental stress and agony he went through on witnessing his God son in such a critical situation .

Jeeva _ though elder by one year , had always been under the shadow of his protective younger brother ,
Not a single second had passed by , without him shedding tears since the minute he saw his brother.

The youngest one wasn't at all informed about this crisis .

Nor was his mother !!

Leaving behind all of them in utter shock , letting all of them all open mouthed by suddenly waking up from a deep unconscious state ; he left them more baffled by questioning the young lady who entered his room in utter haste and sorrow !!!

Dr . Mahendran and his medical unit were shocked for one minute _ the second next they were back to normal ,
They were used to such scenarios,
The monitor that was still connected to his body displayed his parameters were normal allowing them peace of mind .

He signalled his unit to be quiet.

It was very common for patients who recovered from coma to react unusually and unstably.
So he just retorted to observe Kathir .

Whilst Kathir s question left Jeeva in utter confusion , Sadha was the one who was likely to receive a major heart attack .

He had kind of anticipated Kathir to yell or shout at Mullai on wakening up .
He expected that Kathir would ask her to get out of the room , or blame her for useless things .
He pretty well knew the attitude and arrogance of his God son !
Though he personally believed Kathir was really in love with her ,he was very sure that Kathir won't immediately accept the fact .
So Sadha had calculated that it would take a long period of time for him to accept his love , after recovering from his injury .Sadha had even decided to stand by Mullai,  in case , Kathir yells at her in the hospital itself .
He very well knew Kathir's temper as well as had got to witness the soft nature of Mullai .
So he kind of expected a raw face off between the and decided to stay by Mullai .
But Sadha had presumed that it would take a period of atleast 2_3 days as per his doctor friend' s assumption .

But now ,

How on earth will Sadha know that Kathir would wake up just like that , merely after few hours of her arrival !

Poor girl !

She had started from Hyderabad just the previous day morning .

She had dropped in Chennai inbetween to check in for him .

Then had travelled long all the way to Coimbatore to Avinashi and the back to Coimbatore itself _ that whole day she had been on the wheels .

And even afterwards ,her arrival at Coimbatore didnt get her peace .

Kathir s accident had shell shocked the young girl .

And she had just known all the raw truth between his love drama and betrayal along with the ugly side of her dad .

Even after hearing everything , after having seen him battle his life , she didnt even move an inch away from him .

She was stuck up near his cot the whole night .

And if Sadha hadn't pulled her out of that room , she still would have been there itself plastered next to him .

Sadha really worried for the poor girl !!

He didnt know when she last ate .

As far as he knew ,she didnt take a morsel after coming here .

Nor did she take a shower and freshen up .

She looked like a plucked out , dried ... deflowered young bud !!

Whilst Sadha was planning to take her to his home ,get her freshen up ...make Uma look after her tummy , and then bring her back to the hospital , Kathir had just like that awakened .

The news that he is crystal clear in consiousness unlike the previous day made him forget all about Mullai and instantly rush inside Kathir s room .

Sadha didnt even realise that Mullai had followed him into Kathir s room , until Kathir questioned her !

Until he questioned her exactly the opposite of what had happened !

It was Kathir who had ditched her !

And here he was , happily awakened from a week's sleep and was accusing that poor child with oohis own allegations .

Meanwhile ,

Exactly as the doctor had predicted , he was explaining to her how much he suffered all alone intiallly and then how he bounced back with energy on seeing her in his field of vision ..

Kathir still didnt seem to realise that he was just recollecting the events of the trance he was caught in ,

He didnt even realise he had met with the accident ,

Out of blue he was talking straight about the events he had gone through in his subconscious mind .

He complained like an adamant little boy with a deep pain and sorrow in his voice that Mullai couldn't bear any more ,

Was he the same man who roared at her like a mad beast exactly one week back ?

Though she was suprised she didnt fail to give him the needed answer ,

She gave him her word and immediately teared up of what with will happen once he comes out of this trance .

Kathir : Apo yen alugura ? Kathir couldn't bear to see her cry , couldn't bear to see his angel tear up for his sake that he asked her ,in the softest of tones he had ever spoken .

Till that second , he hadn't bothered to think about what happened happened to him and why he was admitted in the hospital ,

Didnt even bother to think about it ,

He was least bothered about the other human beings in that room ,

Nor cared to take a look at them ,

Nor did he bother to think about the whereabouts of his angel ;

In the first place he didnt even know / or so didnt even remember her name or how she was acquainted with him .

All he was able to process was _ he had suffered a grave danger and had fought it off sucessfully and the main reason for his victory was the angel before him .

Only her presence mattered to him then .

He had failed to realise that he didnt know anything more about her apart from seeing her in his weird dreams .

Mullai too dutifully answered the reason for her tears ,

He ever hadn't felt this way for any woman or precisely for any other human being !!
He didnt even know to name this relationship and couldn't process his own emotions for her ,

Mullai was engulfed in another form of anxiety and emotion _ A kind of bittersweetness !!

The very fact that her man had looked upon her with importance had instilled an unexplainable happiness as well an unknown fear within her .

To be remembered by him in an unconscious state by itself implied that she had made an impact infact a deep impact in him , somewhere, somehow !!

But at the same time ,her medical knowledge reminded her that he was still in the trance / clouded consiousness , patients get to experience post head injury .
Usually ....most of patients who recover from long term unconsciousness ,will behave so until they are fully oriented with time and place.

And now , Mullai didnt know how far he was oriented with the reality .

But the love struck heart of hers made her brush the questions her brain asked and made her to dance upto his tunes .

She did obey his order that was told in his most sweetest tone.

She walked forward and stood by cot , with an arms distance .

He seemed to dislike that gap and nodded her to come more near him ,which she obeyed once again .

Once near ,he took an ellaborate look at her .

He once again questioned his agony for which she absolutely blinked .

Mullai : Athu vanthu ...

Kathir : Athan ...yen nee munnadiyae varalainu kekren ?
Yen ennaiya apo vittu pona ?
Apo poitu  ...abathu vanthathuku apuram vara ?

What will she answer for this question !

Mullai cried more ,

She didnt know how to handle him and his questions ,

But in the anxiety to answer him and pacify him she opened her mouth but only to address him otherwise ,

Address him in the name she was most used too ,

She stopped abruptly on hearing Sadha scream ,

Sadha : Solli mudinchathu ! Aiyo pappa ...,

Mullai s face lost its colour and turned chalk white on seeing him .

His face had instantly changed !

Nope ...it didi change blood red like the last day at Hyderabad .

He didnt seem to be furious .

But for sure there was a change in his face that shit scared Mullai ,

As expected he said ,

Kathir : Naan Kathir ! Kathir of KN industries Ltd .
Nee ....nee ipo ennanu sonna ?

Mullai : Illa ...ilainga athu vanthu ...

Kathir : Vera ...vera yetho per sonniya ?

Mullai : Athu ...ap ...

Kathir :  A different name ! Definitely not mine !

That sudden cold voice of his shit scared Mullai .

She felt her heart race speed enough for it to jump out of her body ,

What had she just done ?

Dug her own grave ?

By mentioning the name he had disowned !

And had reignited the beast that had been buried inside him till then ?

Does he remember everything ?

Will he shout at her now ?

And order her to get out ?

Get out of his life ?

She had basked in his kindness minutes before and now he is gonna throw her away like trash ?

The very thought of it sent shivers down her spine !!

Sadha s feeble squeal added fuel to her fears !!

She hadn't eaten a morsel since the previous noon ;

Nor had slept a wink of an eye last night ,

She had travelled all alone for good long kilometres ,

All of this added with the agony of her own fate blurting out the word he dislikes made her faint !

She fainted and just like that dropped to the ground like a tender branch cut off its trunk .

But before she could reach the ground ,she was held firmly and secured in safe within his arm .

Kathir was actually confused for a moment when he heard his angel mention some other name .

He had thought that she knew his name !

But on hearing her say someother name he was confused as to whether she really was the one who  appeared in his dream / trance .

He questioned her with emphasing his own name just to know whether she was the one !!

But ...in contrast to what he expected her face displayed absolute fear and more so an unexplainable pain that he couldn't tolerate .

And before he could open his mouth to console her , he saw her falling to the ground just like that !!

Forgetting everything else ... forgetting he was bedridden with IV lines , tapes and straps with a broken arm , with the only memory of his angel was going to fall down , he managed to reach her within seconds and secured her tight within his uninjured arm .

It was only that he looked around him and came out of the trance .

He was surrounded by a squad of medical personnel,with his own brother and uncle near by .

The iron guy was back to form !

He yelled at them for help,

Kathir : Damn ...f**k ! Sister ....you , he yelled at the chief staff nurse who was standing head up high in air ,

SN : Yaar ...naana ?

Kathir : then who the hell is the nurse here . Inga vaanga ... seekiram , iwala paarunga ..,mayangita paaruna , quick ...come on !

If it was possible the eyeballs of that nurse would have popped down to the floor _ Such was her shock on seeing a patient bossing her !
She was the senior most who was used to even backanswer the chief surgeon and now ...a patient , that too a seemingly unconscious patient  just like that ordered her and ruled the show .

She turned to Dr.Mahendran,

SN : Sir ...intha patient enna ipadi kathuraaru ...enak...

Kathir : Damn you ! Enna patient nu solla therituthulla ...ipadi en kaila oru ponnu mayangi vilunthu eruku ,
My other hand is paining as hell ,
Don't you have eyes nor any common sense ?

He showed who Kathir was really !!

That senior nurse who had never experienced such an encounter with a patient in all her service was near to fainting herself when Dr Mahendran , caught hold of her and ushered his team to attend on Mullai before the young man in bed pounced on him .

Within a matter of few minutes , Mullai was relieved off from his hand and shifted to the visitor s cabin next , and was treated with IV fluids .
She had incurred severe hypoglycemia and dehydration .
She seemed to do well and once the doctor felt she would recover in another few minutes he reverted back to Kathir .

Dr Mahendran who had never opened a word , after Kathir regained his consciousness was now seated opposite him in his bed itself and was keenly observing him as whilst checking upon his health too .

Sadha was beside along with a crying Jeeva .

It was only now Kathir got to notice Sadha and his brother .

Kathir : Sadha sir ...ningala ,? Anna ...nee epadi ?
He threw a confused look and then asked the million dollar question to the doctor ,
Naan ...naan epadi inga ?
What s happening ...or ..or what happened doc ?

Dr : Nothing big ...he paused wantedly to once again reinforce him ,

When he answered,

Kathir : Kathir ! Per nyabagam eruku sir .
Ennachu ?

Dr : Nothing big young man.  You met with a small accident .he felt responsible and tried to ease his patient off his anxiousness about the accident ,with the same old ,ready made consolation,

Kathir cut him off straight away as if he wasn't interested more in knowing about the accident ,

His concern was somebody else as of now ,that he jumped into another question ,

Kathir :

It had just been a ten minutes since Mullai had been shifted and here he was bombarding the surgeon with questions,

The doctor didnt immediately answer Kathir ,

Instead he threw another answer ,

Dr : Yaar Kathir ?

Kathi : She ...she ...my ang...he stopped suddenly on seeing the wide opened mouth of Sadha ,

He didnt know the answer !!

However much he searched his memories he couldn't remember any name _ the only name that sprang to his mind was "Angel"  , which he now knew wasn't  her name .

What is her name ?

Or more so _ who is she ?

He blinked twice in shock and shook his head when the doctor once again asked him ,

Dr : Awanga name Kathir ?

Kathir : Athu ...athu ...hmm ...well ...naan,...naan..
I don't remember !

Leaving Sadha in shock once again he shook his head sideways .

His head throbbed once again with pain .

He closed his eyes to once again surf through his memories, trying to remember her name !!

He didnt know her name !!

But his heart ebbed with utmost love for that tender woman !!
