Your POV

I slide down the wall desperately trying to keep my tears in. I had returned home wanting to see my girlfriend after being gone for weeks. Although when I walked into our bedroom I saw her naked sleeping with another girl. I couldn't bring myself to wake them up so I simply ran out of our house. Although as I ran from the house I could hear her calling for me. I can't believe after three years of dating she would cheat on me. Eventually I couldn't keep in my tears and allowed them to fall. Tremors racked my body as sobs left my mouth. I tried to comfort myself by pulling my legs to my chest. I gripped my legs tightly as I used my leggings to wipe the tears. I sat there for what seemed like an hour when I suddenly hear rustling from the nearby bushes. 

"W-Whose there!?" I shout 

The rustling stops and I grow even more anxious. Although a few seconds later a figure emerges. My eyes widen when I recognized the figure to be a Bogey. She approaches me, her large hands outstretched in a hug.

"Want to help..." She states entrapping me in the hug. 

As soon as I was entrapped in her soft arms I felt my anxiety and sadness dissipate. All I wanted to do was stay in her soft, warm embrace. She moved me so I was on her lap with my head on her chest. 

"My name is Harper." The girl smiles, "What's yours?"

"Y-Y/N." I sniffle

"Well that's a beautiful name. So Y/N can you tell me what's wrong?" Harper asks while I sunk further into her hold

"My girlfriend of three years cheated on me." I softly mutter feeling the tears building up again

She hugs me tighter, "If that's true then she obviously didn't see how lucky she was to have someone so special." 

"What do you mean by that?" I ask drowsily looking up at her

A dark blue blush appears as she timidly looked away, "W-Well from what I saw of you in the village you were always so kind. You would help anyone that needed it. You were always so compassionate and selfless."

I get my own blush and I hide my face in her chest. 

"If your lover saw that and still cheated on you then she didn't deserve you. You deserve better than her." 

I don't say anything and snuggle into her. Sadly our little moment was interrupted when I hear my ex's voice.

"Y/N baby where are you!?"

I immediately tense up not wanting to even see her. The Bogey narrows her eyes, glaring at the direction of the voice. She stands up forcing me to wrap my arms around her neck. Just as I thought we might miss her my ex comes around the corner. 

"Babe there you are!" She sighs moving towards me until she notices I was in the arms of Harper, "Let go of my girlfriend."

"No." Harper answers holding me tight 

"No? Let go of my girlfriend you monster freak."

"Girlfriend? You cheated on me!" I yell at her, tears forming in my eyes, "I come home to find you naked and sleeping with another girl!"

My ex stand there with wide eyes at my sudden outburst. After a few seconds she recomposes herself and takes a few more steps towards us.

"Look just let me explain."

"Stay away from her." Harper growls holding intense eye contact with her

"You need to shut up monster. Y/N come with me. I don't know what this creature has done to you but-"

"She's done nothing but comfort me!" I defend Harper, "She's comforted me after what you did. I won't be coming back with you." 

Not letting my ex speak another word my Bogey companion turns and runs. 

"Hey!-Someone help! A monster just kidnapped my girlfriend!" I hear my ex shout before pursuing us

This only encourages Harper to run faster luring her and some of the guards into the monster infested forest. We run past an High Orc and some orcs who quickly attack our pursuers. Harper doesn't slow her pace however and continues to run. After a few minutes we come to a stop in front of a small cave. We walk into the cave and I can see that this was Harper's home. There was a bed, a kitchen looking area, and a place for a fire. Harper places me on the bed kissing my forehead before moving a large boulder in front of the entrance.

While she's gone the emotions from the chase and seeing my ex hit me again. I curl up in a ball as my anxiety hits me like a truck. On top of that a wave of sadness hit me as the memories of my ex came back to me. My tears build up again and a whimper leaves my mouth as I grab the sheets tightly. Within seconds I'm back within Harper's arms, the monster girl whispering sweet nothings into my ear.

"It's okay. I'll make sure she won't come after you again. You're safe." Harper rocks me back and forth

She continues to keep talking to me and I gently grab one of her large hands, allowing her to fully engulf my hand. I wrap my other hand around her waist trying to get as close to her soft body as I could. Harper smiles at this, peppering my face and neck with kisses. For some reason I'm not upset at her making a move on me so soon. In fact it feels....right? I can't really explain it.

"Are you settled down now?" Harper asks softly

"Yeah. Thank you again." I sniffle leaning up and placing a kiss to her cheek

She freezes her lilac eyes wide as her hand touches her cheek. I giggle when I notice her dark blue blush. She swiftly wraps her large hands around me again, squeezing me against her front. I wrap my arms around her neck enjoying the hug. I look up into her eyes noticing a hidden emotion in them.

"Now that you've stopped your crying I think it's time to give you a reward~"
