Your POV

I was starting to grow worried. My neighboring dragons were disappearing. Some fled while I found the gruesome remains of others when I went to visit them. Why was I worried? Well of my 15 neighboring dragons I was the smallest, and whoever was killing them definitely must've had size and strength on their side. In order to not run into this dragon I was making plans to leave. It was hard to leave my small cave, territory, and my small treasure horde. Although what good is that stuff to me if I'm dead?

I was still packing by the time nightfall came around, and I was forced to stay one last night in my once safe home. I trot on top of my gold stash keeping a weary eye on the entrance of my cave. Every sound had me on edge, afraid that whatever the source was would be my death. What seemed like hours seemed to pass with my E/C eyes trained on entrance. Exhaustion crept on me however, encouraging my eyes to close. Just as sleep was about to take me I felt the ground shake. I shot my head up in alarm. It wasn't a normal vibration, no, these were close to that of a dragon landing. The animals nearby affirm my theory, all the bugs and small creatures growing quiet leaving tensioned filled silence.

Despite my curiosity I stay hidden in the darkness of my cave, the spikes on the back of my neck flaring up in alarm. I sit up as I hear loud footsteps approaching my cave. All of a sudden I see something flash red and I cock my head to the side in interest. It happens a few more times, the lights moving in a pattern. I find myself crawling towards the light, the bright flashing colors sending me into a trance. I didn't even realize I had left my cave until I heard a deep chuckle behind me. I spin around in alarm, my whole body going cold when my eyes land on the intruder.

"Hello little one~" The female dragon chuckles climbing down from the top of my cave

I shrink back from her, immediately recognizing the signature blood red scales. She was a blood dragon-they were infamous for being gruesomely aggressive, possessive, and most importantly their raw strength. That's why every one born is immediately deemed an alpha. The mutilated bodies of my fellow dragons now make sense.

"I can practically smell your fear." The dragon purrs, "It's almost intoxicating~Although you have nothing to fear about. I do not wish to hurt you."

"H-How do I know you're not lying?" I respond my wings flaring up in alarm as she circles me

"Well if I did want to hurt you I would've killed you a few night ago in your sleep." She takes a step towards me and I try to back away only to have her tail push me towards her, "No I want you as my mate~"

My eyes widen before they narrow in confusion, "But you've killed my fellow-"

"They were in my territory." She huffs, "You all are so I gave all of them a choice-leave or die. Some of them weren't as smart and I had to kill them."

"Then let me leave." I state

"No." She snarls her red eyes glowing, "As an alpha I need a cute little mate. Someone who can carry and care for my future heirs. I have decided that you, cute omega, will be my mate."

"You have nothing to offer me." I respond back as she nuzzles my neck

She laughs, "Little one you are funny. I have a large territory where there is plenty of food and water for not only ourselves but for our young as well. As you may know my kind is known for their strength, which if any stupid dragon decides to further challenge me, can be used to protect you."

"Your kind is also known for your aggression and possessiveness." I huff shuffling away from her, "I do not wish to be trapped in a cave the rest of my life."

Within a blink of an eye she pinned me to the ground, her teeth dangerously close to my neck. My fear swiftly comes back, my wings folding around me while I try to appear as small and submissively as possible.

"I don't appreciate your attitude." She growls, "If you won't come with me peacefully then I can always maim you and leave you wingless. That way you'll have to depend on me, your future mate, for everything. In fact it's sounding quite appealing now..."

I freeze when she takes one of the bases of my wings into her mouth. I whimper pushing against her hard stomach scales.

"S-Stop!" I beg, "I'll go just p-please don't maim me."

With a smirk she releases my wing, her snout moving up to nuzzle me, "Smart choice."

Her large claws scoop me up holding me close to her before she took off. She held me tight against her stomach while I gazed at the ground below. Deer and other creatures scattered as her large shadow flashed by them. After a few minutes a large mountain comes into view. The blood dragon lands in a large cave towards the top of the mountain. She doesn't let me go, even when she settles us down on top of her large pile of gold. We sit there in tense silence until I speak up.

"Y-You never gave me your name..."

"My name is Vyana."She purrs laying her large head on top of mine, "And you are?"

"Y/N." I whisper trying to get comfortable although I stop when I feel something pressing on me from behind

"Don't move too much unless you wish for me to breed you now." She warns thrusting forward

I squeak immediately halting my movements, "N-No thanks."

Vyana chuckles but stops her advances, instead focusing on keeping me warm underneath her.
