*Inuyasha's POV*

To be honest, I don't really like physics. It was never my strong suit, plus this teacher is REALLY boring. But Sango on the other hand is a physics geek, she's always ahead of the students, and sometimes ahead of the teacher. But for some reason, she looked like she had something on her mind. I nudged in the arm with my elbow to get her attention.

"Yo Sango, you good? You seem a little distracted"

"Huh? oh yea sorry, I was just thinking about what you said about that girl"

"Kagome?"

"Yes, Kagome"

"What's going throw that mind of yours?"

"Well, I was just thinking, and it's a little strange don't you think?"

"What's strange?"

"What's strange is what your girlfriend Kikyo told you about her. If you only saw pain and fear in Kagome, then don't you think Kikyo lied to you about Kagome being violent? It makes since if you think about it. All of those 'rumors' about Kikyo being a complete bitch are true in my opinion." Sango explains "I mean, think about it Inuyasha. Did it ever occur to you that she could have been lying to you so she could have you to herself? And you said the every time Kagome looked at you she'd go completely pale, right?"

"Yea, it was strange too, I didn't even do anything to her"

"It could be possible that Kikyo threatened Kagome so she would stay away from you"

My eyes widen at what Sango was saying "Wh-what?! Kikyo would never do that! Why would Kikyo ever threaten her little sister?! I don't believe you Sango. I can't believe you'd say something like that about Kikyo"

"Would you believe me if I told you I heard her say that she did?"

"W-what....?"

"Before this class started started I was walking in the halls. I saw Kikyo talking to her friend Kagura. I know it was wrong, but I had to eavesdrop. So I hid behind I wall to hear what they were saying. And what I heard sorta shocked me....I heard Kikyo say to Kagura say that she threaten to make Kagome's like a living hell at this school if Kagome were ever to take a glanced at you. Inuaysha, she's a bad person that obviously treats Kagome like trash"

"Th-that...that can't be true.....Kikyo would nev--!!"

"Inuyasha. What reason would I have lying to you? Trust me, as a friend I strongly sagest that you talk to Kagome about this so you can't get the full picture"

"And how do you suggest I find Kagome? if you haven't noticed, Kagome's fast and could possibly run away from me if she sees me. And besides, even if I do manage to fine her, how do you expect that she could talk to me? If she's terrified just by looking at me, how will she even be able to talk to me? She looked like she was about to have a panic attack when I was just trying to have a simple conversation with her before this class started."

"Hmmmmm...." Sango thought for a second, then her face lit up like she just got an idea "Hey, Miroku?"

Miroku turned his head and was brought back to reality from dozing off "Huh? what? What is it?"

"You and Inuyasha have the same lunch as me right?" Sango asks

"Yea?" Both Miroku and I say in unison

"But what does lunch have to do with Kagome?" I ask

"Well one, I'm hungry" I roll my eyes at Sango's comment "And two, Kagome could also have the same lunch as us. Don't you see? That could be your chance to talk with her. As scared as she'll be or not, don't let her get way so you can talk to her. And if it helps, Miroku and I will help you. Right Miroku?"

"Totally" Miroku agrees

"Sounds like a plan then" I say in agreement

*Kagome's POV*

I was in my English class and I was sitting alone. I didn't know anyone in this class, but there's still one thing stuck in my mind. Why was Kikyo's boyfriend, Inuyasha trying to talk to me? I don't get it. Does he not know if I talk to him then Kikyo's going to make me suffer? I guess not, but still. I thought no one would even make an effort to talk to me, but if someone did, it just had to be Kikyo's boyfriend! Why?! I don't want to suffer anymore! Just....just what did I do to go throw so much pain? I didn't do anything wrong.....

All of a sudden I felt some sort of liquid fall from my eye. That's when I realized I was crying. It's been forever since I've cried, I've kept my emotions locked inside for so long that I forgot what it was like to actually cry. I wiped my eyes dry and try to contain my emotions again. There's no hope for me anyway, I've givin' up on finding happiness a long time ago. So I might as well accept my fate. I just need to keep my distance from everyone. Especially Inuyasha, I need to avoid him. I just hope he doesn't have the same lunch as me.

All this tension isn't helping my huger also. My powder isn't working as well as usual, I just need to calm, and I'll be fine. But as soon as I was calming down, I smelt blood coming from one of the students. My eyes widen at what timing, one of the students accidentally cut themselves with a piece of paper. I fisted my hands into balls as I was trying to comtain my hunger for the taste for blood. 'Oh Kami please! Let me stay strong!' I think to my self trying to fight off my hunger. If I stayed in this class for another minute then I might go insane! I just raised my hand and asked to go to the restroom. Once I made it to the restroom I started washing my face to one, cool down. And two, get away from all the chaos that was forming in my head.

I looked in the mirror to see what I really look like. When I'm in disguise and look in a mirror, I see true self. Blood red eyes, slightly darker and longer hair, and the one thing that make my identity show are my fangs. Vampire fangs that just crave for blood. For a month now I've been taking that powder to avoid drinking real blood. Why have I been avoiding real blood? well, the last time I drank blood I killed the person. That person was my old boyfriend, I didn't mean to kill him. It was an accident, but then again, I don't really think drinking all the blood out of someone out of pure rage would be considered an accident. I didn't realize what I was doing until it was already done. That's why I only drank that powder.

I once again try to calm myself down and take a beep breath. I look in the mirror on more time and tell myself "Okay! Just stay calm and your be fine for the rest of the day. You can do this Kagome!" And with that said I walked out of the restroom. I was walking back to class when all of a sudden I felt my shirt being pulled. The next think I know I was up against the wall, cornered with nowhere to go. I was starting to freak out and have a panic attack, when the person who pinned me to the wall finally spoke. "Well lookie here Renkotsu, we found ourselves a lost little kitten" I finally look at the person who was pining me to the wall and saw that it was Bankotsu!

Okay now I was really starting to panic! I tried to scream for help, but for some reason I found it hard to say anything, I was to scared. My gaze landed on someone who was walking up to Bankotsu and realized that it was Renkotsu. Just what did they want with me?

"Well what do we have here Bankotsu?"

"It's the knew transfer student." He looks back at me "So, what are you doing out of class? It isn't wise to skip you know? You could end up running into people who might wanna hurt you." Bankotsu chuckled after what her said with an evil looking grin on his face.

"W-what do y-y-you want w-with m-m-me.....?" I ask scared

"Hmph" Bankotsu smirks at me sending shivers down my spine "We just want to teach you a lesson for coming into our territory of the school" I look back at Renkotsu only to see him cracking his knuckles, meaning he was about to hit me. 

"Just leave me alone you damn jerks!!" My eyes widen after what I said, the fear I felt started to rise even more now. I don't know what came over me, I panicked and just yelled at them. But that only made my situation worse 'cause the next thing I new, I was was on the floor with a red mark on my face meaning I was slapped so hard that I fell to the floor.

"Agh!" I screamed in pain

Bankotsu walked up to me and picked me up by the hair and forced me to look him in the eyes with a pained look on my face from the force he used on me. "That was a big mistake you just made there. No one, and I mean No one" He knees me in the stomach causing me to gasp and cough in pain as he let go of my hair letting me fall to the floor making a big BANG sound. "No one talks back to me and get away unscathed" Bankotsu kicks me in the side and continues to do so, making me cry out in pain.

"What's with this girl? I thought Kikyo said that she'd fight back if we attacked her" My eyes mentally widen at the mention of Kikyo's name. I was in too much pain to do anything at the moment. Also the fact that I promised myself that I wouldn't fight back in a result of getting in trouble on my first day of school.   

"Maybe she's just too weak for you" Renkotsu said

"Well it doesn't matter, that just makes her a better punching bag. Shall we teach her a lesson then?" Bankotsu asks with s smirk on his face

"Lets"

*Inuyasha's POV*

"Agh! when's class gonna be over?? I'm so hungry." Miroku said

"Class should be over in about 10 minutes Miroku, be patient." Sango said

"I can't help it, I was so busy getting ready for school that I forgot to eat breakfast" Miroku complains

"Well that's your fault for not eating breakfast. You know that's why people don't sleep in on the first day of school you know" I said

"I know, I know, but still"

"Geez you can be so stupid sometimes" All of a sudden I got a bad feeling that something's happening. I don't know what, but I don't like it. Miroku and Sango seem to notice my behavior by the way they were looking at me. "Hey Inuyasha, you good? You seem a little tense" Sango asks

"Sorry, I just got this weird feeling is all, and It's not exactly a pleasant feeling either."

"Maybe that's just your stomach telling you that your hungry" Miroku says

I look at Miroku a little irritated and roll my eyes "Miroku, will you stop talking about food or your actually going to make me hungry" Miroku chuckles a little "Sorry, but in all honesty, what's this weird feeling your having"

"That's the thing, I don't know, and it's kind of irritating me a little" I say a little annoyed.

"Well whatever this weird feeling is, let hope it's nothing bad" Sango said.

*10 Minutes later*

The bell finally rang and it was finally lunch time. It was also time to see if Sango's hunch about Kagome being in the same lunch as us is true. Miorku, Sango, and I were walking to the cafeteria, and to be honest, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hungry. Sango and Miroku were just talking with each other while I was lost in thought. 'That weird feeling I had out of nowhere caught me off guard. I hope it had nothing to do with Kagome, and also what Sango said about--!!'

"Inu-Babe!!" I hear from behind when out of nowhere I got hugged from behind bringing me out of my train of thought. I turn around to see Kikyo. "Well hey there little gem? How was class?" I ask still a little uncertain on what to think of her at the moment.

"Oh you know, nothing much. The teachers are just soooo boring you know?"

"Yea..." I say

"Hey Inu, you okay? you look like somethings on your mind"

"Oh, well ummm. The thing is.....well" I struggled to form my words

"We want to talk o your little sister Kagome" Sango says out of nowhere giving Kikyo a nasty look. Kikyo dose the same and looks at Sango with the same excretion that Sango had.

"What reason would you have talking to my sister?" Kikyo asked with a cold tone in her voice

"Says us, also, mind explaining why your threatening your sister to stay way from Inuyasha? Don't lie, I heard you in the hallway talking with Kagura before class started."

Kikyo's eyes widened a little but then quickly regained herself and looked at Sango with a composed look on her face. "I have no idea what your talking about, just what's your proof that I said anything to threaten my little sister?"

"What reason do I have to lie to my friend?"

"What reason would I have for lying to my boyfriend?"

"Hey, hey calm down you two" I say getting in between Sango and Kikyo. I turn around and look at Kikyo "Listen Kiki, is what you said about Kagome true? About her being violent?" I ask

"Yes it's true, why would I lie to you?"

"Kikyo" Kikyo looked at me "I know you told me not to but a talked to her, and what I saw wasn't how you described her."

Kikyo looked at the ground and had a mad excretion on her face.

"Inuyasha" She said "I thought I made it clear that I wanted you to avoid her or you could get hurt" Kikyo looked back up at me with a mad/potty face.

"I know, but she just seemed off about what you said, aside from her being distant."

"But Inu..."

"If Inuyasha wants to talk to Kagome than he can, you can't control who he wants to talk to or not." Sango said coldly towards Kikyo me still in between them. "Sango clam down..." Miroku said lightly grabbing her shoulder.

"Kikyo, I know you told me not to but I just what to get a good reading on her"

Kikyo turned away from me with an upset look "Geez...."

"Kikyo can you answer a question?" I ask

"What?"

"Dose Kagome have the same lunch as me, Miroku, and Sango?"

Kikyo looked back at me irritated and just said "Figure it out yourself" and with that Kikyo left heading to her next class.

"Well that went well" Miroku said

"That...was intense" I say letting out a sigh

"I'll say...." Sango says irritated and I look back at her

"Yea, thanks for the help by the way Sango"

"You were having trouble saying that you wanted to talk to Kagome so I just got to the point whether you or Kikyo liked it or not. Just be happy Kikyo knows now and your not talking to Kagome secretly so you could get in trouble later on." Sango said with the honest and brutal truth

I mean Sango had a point, if I were talking to Kagome without Kikyo knowing and she found out later on then I would be in more trouble than I already am with Kikyo. "Fine, I guess you got a point there Sango, but I still think that situation could have been handled better than how it did"

"Hey guess, I know your arguing at the moment, but can we head to the cafeteria to finally eat" Miroku said

"Yea, sorry Miroku" Sango said blushing a little

"Hey, all is forgiven Sango" Miroku said and then he grabbed her butt

"Ahhh!!" a loud slap was heard and Miroku had a red hand print on his face "YOU PERVERT!!" Sango yells blushing madly. Miroku just chuckled a little and rubbed his face where Sango slapped him. I face plant my forehead with my hand from Miroku's action.

'I swear Miroku can be so stupid'

*At The Cafeteria*

"Finally! food!" Miroku yells and heads in line for food

"hey Inuyasha, why don't you go see if you can find Kagome. I'll get your lunch for you" Sango said

"Uh, yea thanks" I said then started looking Kagome around the cafeteria. I looked around the inside part of the cafeteria and couldn't find her. "She could be in the courtyard of the cafeteria" with that I headed outside and started looked for her when I noticed that there was a big tree with lots for shade and beautiful flower and leaves. I looked what was under all the shade from the tree and saw someone. It was Kagome! I smiled that I found her and started walking towards her, but stopped instantly when I got I closer look at her face. "W-what the hell?" Kagome had a black eye and bruises all over her face, arms, and neck! Just then that bad felling I felt came back to my mind and my eyes widened and realized what that feeling was.

As I looked at Kagome and The bruises she had realizing that the bad feeling he had was Kagome getting hurt! Kagome was just sitting under the tree and was just drawing in her notebook. And by the way her eyes looked, it looked like she was hungry, but if she was hungry why didn't she get lunch? She's not trying to starve herself is she?!

Just then I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to find Sango and Miroku holding their lunch and mine.

"Yo Inuyasha. did you find Kagome yet?" Sango asked giving me my lunch

"Yea, I did, but I also found something else" I said

"What do you mean by that Inuyasha?" Miroku asked       

"Look" I pointed to Kagome to show that she had a bunch of bruises, cuts, and a black eye. Miroku and Sango's eyes widened at the site of how she looked. Their shock soon turned into rage and sadness. I felt the same thing as they did.

"The pore thing...." Sango said

"Who would treat a girl like this?!" Miroku said

"I know, she didn't look like that when I first talked to her too. Oh, and remember when I said that I had that bad feeling? I think it was about Kagome getting hurt like this..."

"We need to talk to her now" Sango said with anger and sadness. Both Miroku and I nodded our heads and we started walking to Kagome. 

*Kagome's POV*

I was sitting under a tree that kept me from the sun so I wouldn't get a headache. Was continuing on drawing my bonsai tree in the forest when suddenly I felt someones finger lightly push down on my notebook. I was a little shocked by the sudden action. I look up form my notebook to find Inyasha right in front of me! 

"Hey, It's me again" Inuyasha said

The color left my cheeks again and my fear was greater than ever after what happened with Bankostsu and Renkotsu. I felt like I was about to faint from both my fear and hunger for food and blood. I look up and see that there were two people behind Inuyasha. He looked up at the two people him and looked like he had that 'I told you so' look when my face turned pale again.

'I-I need to get out of hear!!' I think to my self and start quickly gather my stuff and stood up and start walking away when suddenly I felt a hand grab wrist. I tensed up and looked behind me to find Inuyasha holding my wrist. I try pulling out of his grasp but he wouldn't let go.

"Please, Kagome calm down" Inuyasha said but because of my fear I wouldn't stop my struggle to escape his grasp. At this point I started shaking and my legs felt like they were about to collapse to the ground from all the tension I felt. I felt like passing out when suddenly I felt someone grab my shoulders. Inuyasha was still holding my wrist so who cloud it be? I looked in front of me to see a girl with brown in a high ponytail ad brunette colored eyes. She looked me in the eyes and said "Please Kagome, calm down, we just want to talk to you. Okay?"

I stopped shaking from the sudden action the girl took. What she said also helped my stopped shaking a little too. I look at the Girl, Inuyasha, and the other boy behind Inuyasha, shortly after I just looked at the ground and slowly nodded my head.

Inuyasha let go of my wrist and I sat back down under the tree. Inuyasha sat next to me but I didn't make eye contact with him. The girl also sat next to me with the other boy sitting in front of me. I rub my arm from the bruises I have, my whole body hurt still from my encounter with Bankotsu and Renkotsu.

"Here, let me get that" The girl said and started rummaging around in her bag and pulled out some bandages and started wrapping my arm up. To he honest, I was shocked that this girl was helping me and bandaging up my bruises. No ones ever been this nice to me, like ever. "Th-thank y-you...." My voice cracks a little

The girl chuckles a little "It's not a problem, you looked like it hurt so I'd thought I'd bandage this up for you. I'm Sango by the way" I was still a little shocked that this girl Sango was being so nice to me. But why though?

I just sat there while Sango was tending to my wounds when suddenly I heard "Hey Kagome?" I turn my head to see Inuyasha, but I quickly look away still scared "Y-y-yes...?" I ask nervously

"Umm, did I do something wrong? To you know, for you to look at me with fear?" I hear Inuyasha ask

"N-no...." Still not looking at Inuyasha

"Then can you tell me why you are scared of me?" he asks

I hesitate on answering Inuyasha's question, I found it hard to speak and give an answer.

"Was it Kikyo?" I hear Sango ask

I tense up and not answer. I started to shake so I didn't even need to say anything, considering my reaction at her name.

*Inuyasha's POV*

What Sango asked caught me off guard, but I guess I was curious to know as well. But when Sango mentioned Kikyo, Kagome started shaking a lot, like she was scared of Kikyo. I looked at Sango and Miroku to see that they have the same expression as me. Kagome didn't even to give an answer cause her reaction was answer enough.

"It's okay Kagome, you don't have to answer that question" I told her comfort her a little. Kagome seemed to ease up after I said that. She stopped shaking at least. Just then I heard her something growl. I look at Kagome and she's holdingher stomach signing that she's hungry. So she didn't eat

"Hey, are you hungry?" Kagome nodded her head

"Did you not eat?" Sango asked

Kagome shook her head no still holding her stomach.

"How come?" I asked, Kagome looked a little hesitant but...

"M-my lunch money was stolen before lunch statred, after I got beaten up by...."

"By?" Miroku asked

"B-by.....Bankotsu a-and Renkotsu..."

Me, Sango, and Miroku all grow wide eyed that was Kagome said. 'Those bastards!!' I think to my self. 'How dare they hurt Kagome like this!' just then I heard Kagome's stomach growl again. I look back at her and so dose everyone else. I look down at my for and got an idea

"Hey Kagome" She looked back at me

"W-what...?"

"Here, you can have this" I slid my plate of food to Kagome and she got a shocked expression at what I did

"B-but this is your food, I-I can't take this"

I smile at Kagome, but it's not like I'm going to let her starve. So I push the plate of food back to her. "I insist, I'm not that hungry anyway"

Kagome looks at the food with hungry and licks her lips, but then looks up at me again

"A-are you sure..." I smile at her

"Yes, I'm sure, now go on and take it" Kagome blushed a little at how kind I was to her. She slowly nodded her head and took the food that I gave her. "Thank you, Inuyasha" I smiled. That was the first time she's called me by my name. I look away from Kagome and saw that Sango and Miokru were smiling at me. They gave me that 'Nice work' look and I just looked away from them blushing a little.

*30 Minutes later*

After a while Kagome got more comfortable with Sango, Miroku, and I around her. And I feel like I understand Kagome a little bit more. But there were just a few things on my mind. One, Kagome's reaction at the mention of Kikyo's name. and two, What Bankotsu and Renkotsu did to Kagome. I'm going to beat the ship out of those two for hurting Kagome like that. Not to mention that they also stole Kagome's money just to add insult to injury! And about Kikyo, I don't know what to think of her. Is Kikyo really this bad of a person? If so, I think I need to-!

I heard the bell ring meaning that next class was about to start. I stand up and extend my hand out to Kagome so I can help her up. She hesitated but took my hand and I pulled her up. I put my hand on her shoulder and a littler surprised that she didn't jump, not even a little. It meant that she was finally starting to not fear me anymore. She looked at me and I smiled "It was great talking to you Kagome, I hope we can talk again soon" I told Kagome.

She blushed slightly and lightly smiled "Thanks, I...I hope so too"

I look into Kagome's eyes and for the first time, I saw just a little bit of happiness in them. "Well it's time for us to go, we'll see you later Kagome" Sango said and she nodded her head. And with that we left.

"Well played there Inuyasha" Miroku nudges me in the arm with a grin on his face.

I look at Miroku with confusion "What are you talking about Miroku?"

"He means what you did for Kagome, giving her your lunch, and comforting her like that to clam her down when we mentioned Kikyo" Sango said

"Well what was I going to do, let her starve? Plus what Bonkotsu and Renkotsu did to her. I'm going to beat the shit out of those two at whatever chance I get! And well, as for Kikyo...I don't know, I mean the way Kagome reacted to just the mention of her name."

"I'd like to say that I just proved my point that Kikyo threatened Kagome to stay away from you Inuyasha. I mean it would make since by the way she turned pale and the way she reacted to her name" Sango said

"What do you think you should do Inuyasha?" Miroku asked

"I don't know..."

"I think you should break up with Kikyo" Sango said

"To be honest, I might consider that..." I said

"Oh shit really?" Miroku asked with shock in his voice

"Yes, really. I mean if Kikyo really is this bad of a person then I obviously can't stay with her. I need to do some research this whole situation with Kagome and Kikyo. That's when I'll make my finale decision if I'm staying with Kikyo or not."

"Then let us help you on that mission" Sango said "I'm going to help you show Kikyo's true colors, whether or not that I'm there, I want you to dump that little bitch"

"Yea same here, to be honest, I never really liked Kikyo too" Miroku agreed

"I hope I can get some answers to this whole thing"

"You will, count on it..." Sango said 

*Kikyos's POV*

I was sitting in class waiting for the lunch bell to ring for the way my scheduled was put together, same goes for other students at this school.

My class finaly ended and I when to the cafeteria and grabbed my lunch. I went outside and sat under a tree that had some descent shade. At the moment there was only one thing on my mind. How to make Kagome's life hell at this damn school.

'That little hussy is going to pay for disobeying me' as I take a bite out of my sandwich and pull my water bottle out and drink what people think is water is actually blood to satisfy my vampire part. As I was drinking the blood that gave me an idea. I evilly grin to myself "And I know the perfect thing on just how to start" I chuckle evilly to myself "But, I got to watch out for that damn girl Sango, she's a sneaky one and really conning, not to mention clever and smart. She heard me talking about threatening Kagome. I need to be more cautious from now on."

'But....' I chuckle to myself "Just wait Kagome, 'cause tomorrow is when hell starts, whether you bring Inuyasha to your side or not"
