I've so lost my motivation to write this - or any of my fanfics a matter of fact. Lots of stuff happened a few days ago, and I am now trying my best to find the motivation I have lost bc of those stuff. Horrible stuff.
Anyways. I came back CUZ OF FORCING MYSELF AND ALSO THE LN 2 GAMEPLAY TRAILER AND DEMO IS OUT. YOU COULDN'T BELEIVE HOW LONG I WAS FANGIRLING ABOUT IT.
I LEGIT CELEBRATED, PUMPED UP SOME MUSIC AND SANG. THEN WATCHED THE TRAILER AND GAMEPLAY DEMO AGAIN AND AGAIN.
AND THEY TALKED. THEY. TALKED. Although it was just, "Hey, Psst," and "Hoy," BUT STILL, IT'S DIFFERENT FROM THE USUAL GRUNTS AND GROANS AND WINCES. I FANGIRLED TOO MUCH THAT I THINK I AM AWARE I NEED THERAPY.

.: Seven's P.o.V. :.
"Basically if we head to where the Nomes told us to go... We'll find out what happened in this world, right?" Seven asked while looking over to Six. Six nodded, "Uh-huh," she said while looking back to where they came from, "It must be a bit far, as said from this map they made."
They had rested for some time at the Nome campout, double checking if the shadow children will come back. The Nomes still tried their best to communicate with them even if they can't really speak, but Seven could sense their agitation and frustration, like they are really telling them something very, very important.
One of the Nomes, the one who made a map on the ground, directed them into another secret passage way and told them to walk on. Also on that, they gave them a map of all the secret passage ways the Nomes found out, which would come in handy.
The Nomes also gave Six tons of food before they left around the dawn broke, it was like they all knew about her hunger strikes. That or they're really nice and wanted to give them their food. But if it was the hunger strikes, how they did knew it, Seven will never know. It was good that they did gave them food... or else...
Seven shook the thought away and walked on.
Six flattened the map and Seven eyed it once again. There was lots tunnels and caves in the map. There was also tunnels with the question marks, which said by the Nomes, in Nome Charades, is an uncharted/unsure if it's safe secret passage. There is also some tunnels with an exclamaition point, which means the dolls/shadow children uses this route to avoid the gumpy Hunter and move easier through the Forest.
The Forest is huge, well, everything is huge in this world aside the kids. It's so vast that they couldn't anymore see the clearing on the top left of the map - which has the biggest exclaimation point ever.
Six looked around and pointed to some branches covering a hole, "That would be the fastest way to that place," she said and walked over to it, pushing the map into her pockets (the one without the lighter).
Seven followed behind, his other hand on the pocket of his jacket which had the key and the paper with the code. He fiddled the key the Nomes gave, what could this unlock? What is the code for?
They went in the tunnel, a haunting drip of water from the scalaties echoed through the quite wide tunnel. Seven pulled out his flashlight and lit the way. The trek was quite far, but they went out the other side to see a light dusty road.
"Huh," Six pulled out the map again then turning to Seven, "I guess we follow the road," she said.
"I hope it won't lead us anywhere bad. But I trust the Nomes that they won't lead us to a trap," Seven said while putting his flashlight back in the pocket of his jacket and walked on.
Six followed, walking beside him "Just how does the Nomes like you so much?" She wondered while turning to him.
Seven shrugged, "I don't really know. Maybe it's probably I'm not scared of them, unlike other children. Or I'm really just a good noodle to the Nomes," he smirked, Six chuckled, "Yeah right."
"What? Am I not a good noodle?" Seven asked while turning to Six, Six shrugged, "In some aspects, but not all of it."
Seven jokingly placed his hand on his heart in a hurt expression, "Owch Sixxy," he said in a slight higher tone and Six giggled, "Truth hurts, doesn't it?" She said in a joking manner.
"Awh," Seven pouted and Six giggled, then leaned in to kiss his cheek, "But even if you're a good noodle, a weird noodle, or a little potato, I still love you~" she said.
Seven smiled, "Aw thanks. I'll love you even if you're a cute weird little potato too," he said and Six stook out her tongue in a playful way, "I am a cute weird little potato," she said.
"Yeah, yeah you are," Seven said while booping Six's nose and walking on. Six stayed frozen when Seven booped him and then huffed while catching up to him, "Why did you boop me?!"
"You are a cute weird little potato, it is a must a cute weird little potato gets boops," Seven smiled and Six huffed, "No I don't."
"Yes, you do."
"No."
"Yes."
"Noooo."
"Yeeeeees."
"Nonononononono!"
"Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes!"
"Ugh there is no way you'll let me win in this one huh?" Six smirked and Seven grinned, "Yup, you have no chance," he said.
"But I will, you'll see," Six said.
"Then good luck my weird potato," Seven said while patting Six's head.
"Whatever, my weird noodle," Six said while poking her tongue out playfully and walking ahead of him.
Seven chuckled then looked ahead on the light dusty path. He could see a wall sticking out from the foliage far ahead on the left. He turned to Six, "Hey I found something," he said and Six faced him.
"Huh? Where?" Six asked and Seven pointed over to the left side of the trail, "Over there," he said.
Six went on first and he followed behind, there was a wall. A broken stone wall. All the rubble was put aside and there was a shack on the other side, which looked empty.
Suddenly Seven froze when they got closer to the wreckage.
There was some pebbles and rubble from the wall, but there was also some broken peices of the doll children. All their heads were smashed in with some broken arms or chests, they looked dead and didn't seem like getting up anytime soon.
Hopefully they wouldn't shake up and reanimate or something.
"Look Sev, there is huge footsteps," Six pointed out while looking over at the other side of the wall. Seven went up beside her and saw irregular huge footsteps, wasn't that big for the Hunter - and it was barefoot print.
"Okay whatever happened here must've been a wreck," Seven noted, Six only nodded and looked over to the shack, "Wanna check that out?" She said while pointing over to it.
Seven nodded, "Sure, the door is open so it must be unoccupied - for now," he said.
They clambered over the rubble and hopped down on the other side. The closer they got to the shack, they could see a shards of glass on the ground and a broken window. Seven peeked in the door to see crates tossed over in wrong places, a broken wooden plank that seemed to be a trapdoor, and more mess.
"Okay now I am very curious on what happened here," Six said while walking in, Seven following behind. It really looked abandoned, but it only seemed like it happened just a few moments ago...
Six looked around until she saw something under some planks, she turned to Seven, "Hey, can you help me lift this over?" She asked and Seven nodded, "Sure."
Together they held on the planks and lifted it over, it was quite heavy but they managed. On the other side was a staircase leading to somewhere - where it would lead, Seven doesn't know.
Six picked out her lighter and went down, halfway down she turned to Seven, "You coming?" She called and Seven nodded, "Yeah," he said while pulling out his flashlight and turning it on.
Six stood, looking over a metal door that was hung open, the door had some dents like someone used force in order to open it. Seven peeked inside to see a dark room inside with tons of cells.
"What the... What is this place?" Seven wondered as Six only stayed silent as she pushed the door wider, causing a long haunting creak. They both waited for something to set off, but nothing seemed to show up. They looked at each other before entering.
It was a cold and dark storage room with little to no light, aside from that it didn't seem much. But the more they walked deeper into the hall, there was empty cells, so it was much more than a storage room.
They kept on walking until they saw another room at the end, Seven pushed open the door to see shelves with stuff hidden in the shadows, items hanging on the hooks and a boxy object at the very end of the room.
"What are those?" Six wondered while walking in, Seven illuminated the object with his flashlight to see it was a collar, "It's just a collar."
Six picked one of the collars out of the hook and suddenly it beeped. They both jolted and Six pushed it far away from her before it does something. There was a red blinking light and Seven crept in for a closer look.
His eyes widened when he finally realized what the collar was. There was also a key hole near a small box, Seven was surprised to see such object in reality.
"Is that... Okay could it be crazy if I think this is not just any collar?" Seven wondered and Six faced him, "What do you mean, not just any collar?"
"I mean... Could it be those collars that a prisoner wears, and if they did something wrong, it will blow up?" Seven said very very carefully and Six's jaw dropped. She took a moment to process this idea and then took a deep breath, "Well, if it is those kinds of collars. I mean, there is a good possibility since we are in some kind of cell. Could those doll students use this on some strong monsters in order to control them better?" She suggested.
"Wait, wait," Seven held out his hand in a time out and then he picked out the key he got from the Nomes, he placed the key on the collar and saw it fits. Slowly he twisted the key and heard it unlock, the box opened up to a keypad.
Somehow, what the Nomes are saying via Nomes Charades are making sense.
"This must be what the Nomes are telling us," Six mumbled and Seven nodded, "Yeah, now that we came all this way. They want us to save someone who is being held down by the dolls. Probably the key and the code was to unlock a collar just like this before it would detonate," he said while closing the cover and picking out the key, storing back into the pocket of his jacket.
"But the question now is, who are we saving?" Six said while slowly putting the collar away, cautious that it might blow up or something if handled wrongly.
There was a yawn and the two jolted, Seven quickly turned off his flashlight and Six hid her lighter. Carefully they crept into the darkness when they heard shuffled footsteps nearby.
Seven felt Six grip onto his hand and he held it back comfortingly. Suddenly the door behind them was slammed shut as the boxy object - which turns out to be a T.V. - sparked to life, giving off the ear pericing static noises.
It seemed like they weren't alone after all.
"Crap," Seven mumbled as the T.V. started whirring, looked around to see shadow children suddenly showing up from the darkness of the room. Do they have shadow travel or something?
Six winced from the sound of the static and Seven pulled her closer to his frame. There was an aura behind him and before Seven could look what was behind him, he was pushed to the T.V. with Six at tow.
Well now you know what you must do.
A shadow child appeared near the T.V. and the low white glow illuminated through its mask.
Well, partially of it.
Another shadow child hopped down from a shelf while groggily wiping their eyes, I am upset we are woken like this. Who would've thought that two stupid kids, a monster, and those doll children would wake us up. In the middle of the afternoon?!
Shush you, the first shadow children hissed then turned to them, Try your best setting her free. We're going to have fun toying with you.
"What do you mean by that-" Six was cut off when the shadow children shoved them into the T.V. and they went in. It was very, very odd.
Next thing Seven knew, he woke up in a grassy feild with Six knocked out cold beside him.
