.: Six's P.o.V. :.
"Did we lose them?" Six wondered out loud while peeking out the fallen log that she and Seven crawled into. Seven was peeking out and slowly nodded, "Yeah, I don't see them," he said while crawling out of the log and lighting up his flashlight. Six sighed and crawled out next, Seven held Six's arms and helped her down.
"Thanks," Six smiled and Seven smiled back, "No problem Madam," he said in a horrible British accent while doing a bow. Six giggled and bowed back, "C'mon good sir let's get out of this Forest - that and find Mono and Twenty-Three."
"I swear if we find them and they are still not together, they are one thing and that is hopeless," Seven grumbled while pushing past the low branches, Six followed and she laughed, "Truely."
Seven chuckled, they continued to walk on for what seemed like hours until they made it to a steep slope. The ground was a bit far below and the Forest continued, now that dawn slowly was breaking, Six could see the the silhouette of the trees.
"It's a bit steep, I'll go first," Seven said and Six nodded. Seven stepped down and let gravity slide him down the slope, "Okay, you're next," he called and Six carefully copied Seven.
Six slid down and nearly stumbled at the end, making her silently yelp. Seven quickly caught her and helped her up, Six sighed, "Thanks Seven."
"Of course, I'm your boyfriend, it's my job," Seven grinned while pecking Six's cheek and held her hand. Six giggled and they walked on, Seven closed his flashlight once the sky got bluer. Six looked up to see a slow sunrise, she hoped that maybe the doll students won't find them now - or they don't sleep and is still pursuring for them.
Six smiled bittersweetly, brings back many memories. But now, it got real. This is not just some Nightmare-mashed-with-the-Real-World kind of jazz. Like what Annie said, they are in the Nightmare World. Monsters would be harder, places will be scarier. Being alone in this world would probably give Six insanity.
It is fortunate she had Seven. Everything seemed less scarier with him around. It is the company that could at least make Six less insane. But if they are in the Nightmare World, and they'd meet the monster forms of the adults in the Real World... Is it possible that Six would meet another dimension Six?
Six pursed her lips, that would be crazy, but it could happen. We're not from this world, what if... I meet the other me? The one who handled all the nightmares I had before. What if she has dark magic and kills me off? Six shook her head while shivering slightly from the thought, I hope not.
Seven turned to her and his eyebrows furrowed in worry, "Are you okay Six? You seem out of it," he asked and Six blinked before frowning and held on Seven's hand tighter, "I'm just worried, we're in the Nightmare World. The one where we had all our nightmares. We could meet the monster forms of the Adults who would not think twice to kill us. I am just thinking... if we could ever survive this," she frowned.
Seven carefully placed his hand on Six's cheek assuringly, "We'll be able to survive this Six. Everything will be alright. We - Well you, since I never had any nightmares about this place - know what happens here and how those monsters act. We can do this, together," he said softly. Six smiled nervously and leaned on Seven's touch, "How did I get such a good boyfriend like you?"
Seven shrugged, "You got lucky. That and because I love you," he smiled and kissed Six's forehead, which he knew Six loved, it helped her ease from her thoughts. Even if she wasn't telling most of her secrets, Seven was there for her. And he will always be.
"I love you too Seven," Six said and Seven held on her hand in assurance, "Let's go," he said and Six nodded.
And off they went as the sun started to rise up in the sky and give them a better veiw in the Forest.
==================
From the looks of the sun that peirced throught the leaves of the trees overhead, Six guessed it must be about the early afternoon. Well, that was just a hunch since she doesn't have a watch and wasn't like Mono who looked up to the sky and quickly knew what time it was.
The Forest was less scary with the sun out, Six heard the birds chirping and fluttering through the branches of the trees. The sky was dull, but at least it wasn't dark.
Six heard leaves crunching behind her which made her alert. Six cautiously turned just to see that a few miles away was a deer. Six huffed as the deer stared at her, then ran off.
Then a gunshot.
The both of them jolted and Seven turned to face the source of the sound, "What was that?" He said and Six gulped before quickly running into a bush, dragging Seven along with her.
Six heard footsteps. There was one that sounded bigger than the others and carefully pushing the leaves aside, Six peeked out. She held her breath and froze as she stared up to the new threat.
It was a man with a sack over his head and only one peep hole, he wore a coat and hunter's boots, and slung behind his back was a rifle. Six shivered once she remembered who does he look like.
It was the Hunter.
"So, you lil' pesky dolls came up to tell me ya'll need my help lookin' for some kids," the Hunter said in a gruff voice, Six blinked, since when did he have an accent?
"Please Hunter. We've been search all night. Can we at least use some of your traps?" Six saw Annie, the doll from last night, step up and plead to the Hunter.
The Hunter cocked his rifle to the head of the small doll, "Don' go lookin at me with pleadin' faces. My traps are for my use and I ain't sharin'," he growled and Bill stepped up, "Hunter, if you kill her. You'll have to answer to your bosses why you killed their minions for no reason," he warned.
The Hunter scoffed, "The only boss I serve is the Broadcaster! Them other bossies aren't going to boss me!" He spat and Annie shivered as the rifle was still notched to her forehead.
Bill frowned, "These children we are looking for are no ordinary children, Hunter. They are the ones both the Lady and the Broadcaster are hunting for before they mess around and try to fix this place," he said.
"Well if they are so that important, why didn't I got informed 'bout some lil' runts? I could find 'em and kill 'em in a jiff!" The Hunter exclaimed while motioning to his sack. Six frowned, not bothering to know what was in that sack with the blood staining the cloth.
"It was only passed down to us. We could find them faster and catch them quicker since we are their size," Bill said and the Hunter scoffed, "Says the children wantin' to use my traps."
"C-C'mon Hunter... It will only be until we find... t-t-the.... kids.... and a-also... it was ordered to us... n-not to k-k-kill t-them," Annie stammered, shaking while she eyed the rifle.
The Hunter clicked his tongue, "Well I don't to orders for lil' runts. Now time for ya'll to say bye bye," he growled while slowly pulling the trigger of his rifle.
"Hunter, if you do this. What kind of Hunter are you?" Bill exclaimed and the Hunter stopped to glare at him, "What?!"
"If you do this, you wouldn't be able to find those kids and your loyalties to the Broadcaster would be questioned - seeing you'll kill us, his servants," Bill said and the Hunter growled before lowering his rifle, making Annie silently sigh out.
"Alright ya'll can use my traps, in one condition," the Hunter said while grabbing his knife and pointed it to Annie's neck, "That ya'll better use my traps well. It is hard to make 'em y'know. And also, if I find 'em, I will be the one that will give 'em to the Broadcaster," he said while turning to the deer and stabbing it.
Bill nodded, "Of course," he said and turned to his team, "Let's go," he said and they walked off. Leaving the Hunter gutting up the dead deer mercilessly. Six looked away and backed up, Seven shivered out of fear and followed behind.
They carefully and silently crawled away, Six checked to see if it was far enough and slowly stood up. She shivered, "Oh god, now the Hunter is also looking for us," she pursed her lips.
Seven sighed, "And since when did he have an accent?" He wondered out loud and Six turned to him with her eyebrow raised, before noticing he was just tying to lift the mood. She sighed out through her nose and shrugged, "Well that was the real Hunter. Not like back at the Incident where the Hunter was a mix of Coach Hunter and the Hunter himself."
"Well that is just... confusing," Seven said while looking around then back at Six, "Let's go find the other two before the Hunter or those dolls find them first," he said and Six nodded, both of them walking off away from the Hunter.
==================
It was nearly night time, the sun was setting and the sky got darker. Making the view of the Forest darken as well. Seven pulled out his flashlight and lighted the way, around that time Six's stomach growled and Seven quickly gave her some bread.
Six ate it but stopped halfway, "What about you Seven?" Six wondered and Seven smiled, "I'm okay, just go finish that before your hunger isn't satified and grumble more," he said and Six frowned, slowly eating the rest and following Seven.
"Sev?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm tired, we're been walking around this Forest all day. Can we find someplace to rest?" Six inquired and Seven turned to her before nodding, "Sure, let's find somewhere safe."
They walked on, Six took a deep breath and paused, she smelled smoke not just far from where they stood. Sighing out through her nose and turning around, she slowly followed it. Seven stopped and turned to her while tilting his head to the side in a confused manner, "Six?"
Six ignored him and pushed past the heavy foilage, on the other side was an abandoned campsite. She heard Seven behind her pushing past the bushes and blinked, "Well what luck," he mumbled as Six walked on to the small campsite.
The tents were tattered to bits and the fireplace still had some smoke. Six walked on and saw crates trashed, but there wasn't any dead anything lying around.
"Whoever was here ran off before something killed them. But I guess this is a good place to rest for a while" Six guessed while poking the crates. Seven nodded, "Okay then," he said as the cold night breeze brushed past and he shivered, "Six? Can you give me your lighter?"
"Sure," Six said while handing him her lighter, Seven walked to the fireplace and started a fire. Seven sighed out and sat down, Six went and sat beside him.
"Thanks," he said while handing Six her lighter back, Six smiled, "No problem," she looked around the Forest, the cold breeze brushing past and the night seemed still. Six felt her eyes droop and she yawned, leaning her head on Seven's shoulder, "I'll just take a nap," she mumbled before closing her eyes.
Seven looked down on Six and softly smiled while kissing the top of her head, "Get some rest," he said and looked out on the Forest around him.
==================
Six groaned while groggily opening her eyes, she was now lying on Seven's lap while Seven was fast asleep. She wiped her eyes and looked up to the sky, it was still night.
The fire cackled silently infront of them and Six noticed that it was getting dimmer. Carefully standing up so she wouldn't wake Seven, she walked off to the trees surrounding the campsite, there must be some branches ot twigs lying around.
Six pushed past the bushes and looked for some small wood, she saw some twigs and picked them up, she continued to look for more. She walked past another bush until she heard something snap behind her.
Six jolted and turned around. She dropped the twigs and inched back. In the darkness of the Forest, something swirled and inched closer for Six. It felt colder than before and Six felt her feet ice up from fear.
Shadow Six formed out of the shadows and stood infront of Six, "Hello Six," she said while tilting her head to the side and grinning wickedly. Six backed up, "S-Shadow Six," she stammered.
"How unfortunate I couldn't give you a proper welcome," Shadow Six said while stepping up closer to Six. Six frowned, "You caused this?"
Shadow Six shook her head, "I did not. I am helping the one who did. I told you didn't I? After the rumble, there is nothing you can do now or do anything to stop it," she said and Six took a deep breath while furrowing her eyebrows, "We will escape this place, and we'll stop you," she said.
"I must've fogotten to tell you," Shadow Six said, "That you are in my turf now. That, and I have friends who'll help me stop you," she said while raised her hand and snapping her fingers. Six looked around and saw the shadows started circling them, sometimes forming a face and giggling before disappearing. With them circling around her, it felt colder and colder, Six felt her hands and feet freeze up like ice.
"But I would like to see you try," Shadow Six said and Six faced her, "What?"
"Try stopping me, and the Lady and the Broadcaster," Shadow Six smirked, "Although, I think I know you'll just try and die in the end. The prophey stated that."
"What prophecy?" Six wondered while Shadow Six shrugged, "I guess I will tell you."
"Worlds in great danger...
May seem familiar, but is stranger.
Beware the TVs and woman of vanities.
Together they control, will control both worlds horridly."
The shadows circling around Six and Shadow Six got faster, hissing and giggling as they soon said the same words as Shadow Six in sync.
"The bird will sing their swan song.
And immense hunger will fall upon.
The loyal must stop the starvation.
And one will be put to misdirection."
Six's head pounded and she held it while crouching down. It hurt so much that Six couldn't think straight. Shadow Six and the shadow children spoke louder as they cornered Six.
"No one will help them but only they.
There is only one way."
Six looked up and saw the shadows stopped. But lurched forward, Six yelped as they strangled her and choked the air ot her her lungs. Her ears rang and she gasped, trying to catch some air but it failed.
"Six... Six... Six!"
"No one will help you."
"Six! Wake up! Six!"
Six gasped awake.

Badabim badaboom.
There's your prophecy now people. You know I love prophecies in that rhyming, Oracle like way.
Oh and, Twenty-Three's vision was... not the prophecy. It was more like something to rattle her so she would be scared.
Okay! Byeeee!!!
