A woman sat down with her children, her once brown hair was now gray but her eyes still held their youth and thirst for adventure, her days were long past now and she couldn't turn back time. Her children clustered round her eager to hear her stories of adventure, romance, loss and triumph. "Oh please Grandma! Tell us another!" One of them piped up, she chuckled and replied, "I think your all old enough to know the Legend of World Order..." Her children's eyes widened, "Grandma is that the one where two guys fell in love and helped defeat the King of eternal night?" The oldest one asked, the woman laughed, "What have they been telling you at school? That's not true! It was the king who fell in love with the hero!" The children gasped and immediately shuffled closer to hear more.

"Over twenty-thousand years ago..." The woman began, "The world was peaceful, the kings and queens were successful and loved by all people. But two thousand years ago a child was born to the Life Court, with golden hair and violet eyes, at the same time a shadow appeared and began to wreak havoc on the people. With no time to waste the life court sealed this monster within the newborn baby..." She paused to take in the shock and awe of her children before continuing, "Over time this boy began to grow evil and corrupted, eventually he murdered the royal family and killed the life court. Then using a ancient dark spell he plunged the entire country into and eternal night, six members of the royal family survived but were dying fast. Somehow they became gods and watched over all the people, these were the dragons of universal order. They'd been reborn within the six and at last surfaced, they couldn't help the people so they tried to find a way to undo the dark spell. With no hope left the alpha goddess of friendship Rainbow Shard sunk to earth, there she met a man with a hatred for the new king. There and then she conceived a child." The youngest piped up, "Was he related to the hero?" The woman shook her head, "He was the hero, his true name cannot be uttered without bringing an apocalypse to the land but his other name was Anthony Zane, in time Rainbow shard conceived another child with the same male. She was female and her name couldn't be uttered without raising the ocean and flooding the land, so she was known as Shard Zane. The male took the two children back to his family, thinking that their mother had died in childbirth. But she was still alive watching over her children. Years passed and the King began to size more control and his dark influence spread to the people who began to love him, they were all under his dark spell except for Shard and Anthony."

The children were in awe their grandma knew so much but decided not to ask about it till she'd finished the legend, she laughed as if she'd read their minds. "Anthony and Shard were blessed with immortality, over time they met eight others who became the new court. One of them was my ancestor so the tale was passed down to me and now to you, only my ancestors and the others born from the new court knew the true legend." The children were astounded. The woman smiled again and continued...

"Now the King had this creature sealed within him, it had escaped and become one with him. This power was known as Nightmare, he was made up of all the seven sins known to man. The boy held this power within him and slowly grew corrupt, his parents abandoned him as soon as he showed the signs leaving his only sister to care for him, this was Nightmare Kevin. Perhaps that's why he spared her when he killed his family, she was the only one who showed him any compassion. The Kings sister eventually escaped along with five others when this boy finally snapped and embraced the evil fully with was then Complete Nightmare Kevin." One girl put up her hand, "Was the Kings name Kevin?" The woman nodded, "Kevin wasn't always evil, there were times he'd break free of Nightmares control when he wasn't complete but Nightmare kept whispering to him, telling him things that eventually came true. With that much distrust of the ones who he called family, it caused him to snap and kill. He then killed the Royal family except for the six then took the throne as his own." The woman paused again to let the information sink in.

"Years passed and the Universal Siblings grew up in one of the richer parts of the kingdom, their father was a noble and his wife couldn't have children of her own so she was a surrogate mother to the two. They never felt happy with all their affection, they wanted more, they wanted to do as they pleased but they wanted to see the sun most of all. They were picked on at the schools they went to because of their parents, they eventually found a school they were accepted into began to teach there once they were old enough. Shard taught art and Anthony taught design and technology in the resistant materials section, they were rebelling because they asked the students they taught to draw what they wanted and not what they were told to." The woman grew tired of talking so took a break for her children to eat, more children had come in when she was talking and now all the children of the village were seated around her to hear the tale.

Once they were all settled she began again...

"Over time the King grew restless, he had entered a phase where one would look for a partner but no woman appealed to him. It was then that everyone learned... He was gay." The children all gasped with awe, "So with the urge to find a mate his soldiers kidnapped all males between the ages 16-40 and they came back shaken and not the same, Kevin searched for years for a mate but he couldn't find one. He gave up and decided he would let his mate come to him and sure enough... He did."
