Running...
That's what I was doing now...
Just running away, call me a coward but I think this was the right time to run...
I could hear him chasing me down, like a predator chases its prey. I don't even know how he got like this when he told me he had control over the being he fused with all those years ago that caused him to become what he is today... Enough of that, I could hear him getting closer to my hiding place. I covered my mouth as one clawed hand gripped the edge of the crate above me, hidden under blankets and pillows with a little peepy hole, I saw it and stayed very quiet. Soon there was shouting and the hand disappeared, peeking out gently I saw Kevin fighting off his guards who seemed intent on subduing him. Kevin was wrapped in an evil aura and his eyes were dull unlike the bright violet I'd seen his eyes achieve when he was himself, I knew then that his 'Flipside' had come out and taken over his body.

I gulped quietly and carefully climbed out the crate, checking Kevin was occupied I dashed away into the corridors of the immense palace I'd come to call home. I heard him screeching in anger and several yelps of pain and a nasty snapping noise before he was on my tail again, I pushed my body faster and faster feeling a burning in my leg muscles. My breathing was becoming erratic as well as I pushed my body to its limits, I knew I couldn't keep this up and Kevin knew it too as his footsteps were becoming faster. My foot suddenly caught a flagstone and I tripped, I braced myself for a load of pain on the tumble I was taking when arms wrapped around my waist. I had been caught.

Kevin pulled me up into a bridal carry and set off back to our room where the whole mess had started, I was wriggling immensely and Kevin had to tighten his grip so I couldn't escape. I started squeaking in varying tones and pitches and Kevin raised an eyebrow then snickered, I hissed at him and wriggled with renewed vigour. Kevin growled and carried me into our room, he threw me onto the sofa then flopped down beside me. He then wrapped his arms around my waist and cuddled me while purring, I blushed a deep red "Y'know if you wanted a snuggle you should've she'd rather than chase me." I told him bluntly, Kevin thought for a moment then facepalmed and I laughed very hard at the stupidity of it all.

Then something shifted within me and I made an excuse to go to the bathroom, "When you come back I have a surprise for you~" he purred and I mentally gulped. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door as pain exploded in my body, I bit a towel in order not to cry out as I felt my bones crack and reform as they shifted into a new shape; one that was faster, stronger and better.

After seemingly an hour the pain stopped and I collapsed onto the floor breathing hard as the last twinges of pain left me, I pushed myself onto all fours and used the bathtub to stand upright. Looking at myself in the mirror I gasped at what I'd become; I was now a Mega Absol with blood red fur instead of white, I felt something pull at my lower back and twisted around to see ten fluffy fox like tails swishing behind me, I dropped back onto all fours and examined my new body.

After ten minutes of testing I now knew I could still walk on two legs but I was faster on four, my paws had opposable thumbs, thank the gods, and I could fly with the winglike extrusions at the back. There was a knock and I blanched in a panic and hid under a towel as Kevin barged in, "I heard you gasp! What's... Going... On?..." He trailed off as he spotted me hiding under the towel, he pulled the towel off of me and I squeaked "DON'T LOOK AT ME!" I shrieked and darted out the bathroom only to get tangled in his hair, he pulled me over and stared at me. He then began to rub my head, I couldn't fight the urge and started to purr and my tails wagged happily.

"Anthony? Is that you?" He asked as he rubbed a lovely spot above my ear, "Yup... Nya~... I have- Ngh~ No idea how I got this- *purrs* Way." Kevin smirked at my behaviour and took his hand away, carrying me over to our bed and plopping me down on it. I curled up and tucked my tails in so I looked like a large fuzzy ball of fluff, Kevin squealed in excitement and glomped me while squealing "You're so.... CUTE!!!!" He nuzzled me again, again taking in my scent as he buried his face into my blood red fur "And your so soft!" He crooned as he ran his fingers through the fur on my back, my back arched into his touch and I loved every second of it.

When I was starting to room as well the pain returned but not as fierce as before and I whined as my body shifted back to normal. Kevin raised an eyebrow at my shifting but cuddled me anyway.

Welp at least this day could've ended more badly right?
