Especially when this concerned her brother being taken by the King, that madman has been on the throne long enough and it's time to topple his rule and bring back equal day and night. I always treasured the moment when I saw my first day, the first time I saw the sun...

The sun rose when I was ten, it was warm and bright that day and I enjoyed seeing things I hadn't before. I met Shard and her friends in the park, we all played in the water and rolled around in the grass getting wet and collecting grass stains.

When the sun set for another ten years I was sad because our ancestors before the King took the day for granted, we had only a day of sun every ten years so we were all desperate for an equal amount of sunlight along with darkness of the night. All who were under the Kings influence stayed inside saying it was bad luck to be outside during the day of sunlight but all nine of us were immune to his influence.

I only hope we can rescue Anthony before the King gets what he wants with him...
