(I'll try to make this longer than usual, to make up for the tons of A/Ns I make. Hope u like this! Picture not by me, but whoever made it is a great artist!)

The royal guards tossed in Rarity, and the rest of the main 6 (but it's 5 right now) along with some other Ponyvillians. As the citizens were being taken in, Twilight noticed the guards' eyes. They were glazed over with a turquoise tint. Twilight gasped.
"Nightmare Moon must have put some brainwashing spell on the guards, making them obey her!" (Italics mean that pony's thoughts; bold is author speaking)
The unicorn looked at the bedraggled Celestia; she had a pained look on her face, as if she was trying not spurt out a waterfall of tears.
Twilight paced around her small cell, thinking of a way to get out. If the cell wasn't stone, the lavender mare would have made a deep circle groove into the floor. As Twilight was pacing around the cell for the 10968th time, she looked up as she heard her door open.
"The Queen wishes to see you, Ms. Sparkle," a gruff voice said. Twilight saw a guard looking at her to get out of her prison.
"Uh..what the hay Twilight. Why would she want you, YOU out of all ponies?!!?!" Twilight thought as she was carefully("why?")escorted to the throne room.

The throne room certainly took a huge makeover. The carpets were a deep purple and the room was dark gray marble. The actual throne seemed to be a hundred feet tall with translucent dark blue drapes over it.(like Blue Diamond's arachnid throne...cage...thingy. Idk what it's really called.) The stained  glass windows were covered with drapes that showed depictions (pictures) of the night sky and Nightmare Moon's eye. It gave Twilight the chills;it was like the eyeball was watching them...
"Sparkle." A voice boomed throughout the room. "We want to..ask you a few things, in return you may ask us some questions too," Nightmare Moon said, opening the drapes with her magic, wings spread out in a way that made the room even more foreboding.
Twilight instantly went into bow out of fear. "O-of course your m-majesty. You can ask me anything you l-like." Twilight stuttered, sitting into an upright position.
Nightmare's gaze softened a bit. "Thank you, Sparkle. First question, what year is it?"

"It's year 2050, your Majesty," Twilight said. "N-now may I ask a question please?"

Nightmare Moon's eyes once again became stone. "I will be asking the questions for now Sparkle. Or do you think you have the power over me to ask before I am done?"

The room fell silent, and the new Queen took that as a sign to continue. She asked Twilight questions about what's happening in Equestria, what new spells have been made, and ways on how to be a good leader. Twilight answered all of these truthfully, and once she could ask her own questions, she had only one in mind.

"Why did you choose me to interrogate, out of all ponies?"

As the lavender unicorn was dragged away back to her cell, she heard the queen say softly:

''My sister said you were a smart mare."
