After 7 Months...

Tae's POV:

"Hyung, which team are you on?" Jungkook asked me.

"I'm on team pink!!" I shouted with joy.

"Y/n, what about you?" I ask her.

Y/n was 4 months pregnant and now we're doing a gender reveal.

"I'm team blue. I want a mini Tae," she giggled with a beautiful smile on her glowing face. Her face was shining due to pregnancy.

"I'm also team blue," Jungkook added, supporting Y/n.

"You are my best buddy," she exclaimed and clapped hands with my brother.

"I know it'll be a girl. Dad, reveal the gender!" I hummed to dad, who was holding the result. All of them were watching Mr. Jeon closely.

"It's a.. It's a girl!!" Mr. Jeon said enthusiastically. I started to jump and hugged y/n and Jungkook. Mr. Jeon watched how happy Tae was and his eyes became teary.

Mr. Jeon's POV:

All my life, I have been waiting for this moment. The moment when I can see Tae's smile. His smile is exactly like my late wife's. I have to thank her for having him in my life. He sacrificed his life for us.

He had to take care of Jungkook and my drunk ass. We didn't even give him time to mourn for his mother.

The poor boy lost his biological parents and I had to take care of him, but all I did was make it difficult for him. i'm still ashamed of myself. If I have everything now, it is thanks to him. I am forever grateful to him for stopping me that day.

3rd Person POV:

"So, brother, when are you going to give the car keys to me?" Jungkook asked Tae.

"I will not go back on my word. Here, take it. Please treat my boy well," Tae sighed and gave Jungkook his car keys.

"Don't worry, brother. I will cherish it." Jungkook looked like he was shocked, but accepted the keys.

Y/n was confused. She asked her husband about what happened. Tae told her about how he and Jungkook made a bet, and Jungkook betted on Tae tearing up the divorce papers first and living happily with y/n.

"Your brother played the role of cupid in our love," she proclaimed.

Everyone was happy without knowing what the future held.

In the Bedroom...

Tae and y/n are in the bed, cuddling each other.

"Tae, can I ask you something?" y/n nudged him.

"Sure, baby," he replied quietly.

"Why did you always look at me with cold eyes when we first got married?"

"What? Me? When?" He looked like he was wondering. At first, he was not interested in me, so his eyes never showed love and warmth.

"What do you mean by when? Whenever I tried to start a conversation, you looked at me with sharp eyes. Did you hate me that much?" she asked.

But what y/n didn't know was that Tae never hated her. He always respected her, but he avoided her because he didn't want to love anyone. But after y/n's love and care, she broke the wall around his heart.

"No, I never hated you. It just took me some time to realize that I loved you. But I never looked at you with coldness in my eyes. I'm sorry if I made you think like that baby. I'm sorry, please believe me, "Tae said with tears in his eyes. That made y/n feel guilty.

"Okay, okay. I trust you" she whispered and kissed his forehead.

Tae was not what those articles wrote. He was just a baby inside. Maybe that's why we should not judge a book by its cover. I'm so happy to have him in my life, y/n thought to herself.
