For years, I only had a small circle of friends and received all their love & care. Now, I'm receiving from someone new, I somehow find myself doubting it. Can you blame me tho? I was betrayed by those who made me feel loved and special.
I don't want to go through that again.

I know it was unfair of me to compare River and Carl. It was unfair of me to say that Carl knows me better than him. Besides, Carl was right. We were best of friends while River was a stranger. But still, I have to admit that I want River. :(
