The following describes the Seven Ancient Abilities, revived by the chosen seven

(Note: these are NOT the slots, but each slot will have one of these powers, and this chapter exists so that you can go back and refer to each power that each slot has)

LOKI'S GIFT 

• Named after the Norse god Loki, who was a known shapeshifter, the user of LOKI'S GIFT is able to change the shape of their body into anything at will. However, this ability has many quirks, one of which being that the user can ONLY shift into things that they themselves have seen and exist in real life. Therefore, the holder of this power cannot simply go and turn into Godzilla at will, and transforming into a Jedi is out of the question.

• A positive quirk, however, is that the user is able to transform not only into animals, but also into objects. The same 'it must exist' rule still applies, but be careful of that pen over there, and let's hope for everyone's sake they never decide to shift into toilet paper.

SOMNUS 

SOMNUS, a quite fascinating power, is named of the Latin word for sleep. It appears quite similar to the commonly known power of mind reading, yet differs in many ways. The user of this power is able to view the dreams of other people, of which they can either just watch without intruding OR insert themself in their dream. They have the ability to manipulate their dreams as well, not only able to cause nightmares and/or stop nightmares, but when communicating with people in their dreams they can get them to answer truthfully any question they ask.

• Another aspect of this ability is being capable of sending people into unconsciousness. The user can will people to sleep, which will usually proceed by the user entering their dreams to ask whatever information they would like to know.

CHRONOS' SIGHT 

• A not only amazing, yet quite entertaining power for the user, CHRONOS' SIGHT is the ability to literally look back in time. The name is based off of Chronos, the Greek word for and god of time. The sight of Chronos gives the holder of the power to think of any point or moment in history, and envision it as it actually was. Though they may not have actually been alive to experience a certain event, they can remember it as if they were there, and aren't simply imagining the details. 

• People gifted with this power often spend their free time reliving moments in history. Simply closing their eyes and thinking of a random moment, they experience it first hand, which makes this an excellent power to have if you're an investigator.

PAINLESS 

• Easily relating to its name, the user of PAINLESS has two main components of their power. One being they have the ability to heal the wounds of others, the second being that they themselves do not feel pain (unless they want to feel pain, and generally they don't). The degree of which they are able to heal varies from user to user, some being able to only cure small cuts and colds, others of which being able to heal everything from cancer to mental illness. 

• The human who holds this power also may have the capability to heal animals in addition to humans. For scientifically unknown, but morally understandable reasons, the holders of this power generally seem to be the humanists of the group, very caring and accepting. In contrast, however, others of this power seem to be the complete opposite, and often are very closed off and don't get along well with other people.

POLTERGEIST  ❃

• Deriving its name from the infamous type of ghost, the user of POLTERGEIST holds an ability quite similar to telekinesis. Being able to move objects simply by mentally willing the object to move is where the similarity to telekinesis ends. Like the famed poltergeist ghost, the user of this power can become completely invisible to the average human eye, and disturb multiple objects at a time. 

• Whomever holds this ability must be very careful, as it is one of the more risky powers to have. If they are not careful and let their emotions run too wild, they'll often accidentally unleash their power and possibly cause a catastrophe. The person gifted with this ability tends to already be or become very reserved as a result, knowing that they must keep their emotions in check and/or already have been doing so before they knew about their power.

ENCHANTER 

ENCHANTER, sometimes referred to as "CASTING," is the power most closely associated with wizardry. The holder of this power has the ability to create potions out of only water, simply by just imagining what they want the effect of the potion to be. They can cast minor spells on various objects, and most infamously they are able to cast a spell on food which causes anyone who eats it to get the whole "sushi from a gas station" effect. 

• A side effect of holding this power, a pleasant side effect don't worry, is the ability to seemingly conjure food out of thin air. The user, if ever lost, does not have to worry about starvation or dehydration, as they can actually create food and water out of nothing. This ability benefits the user greatly, also then not having to worry about paying expenses on food.

DISCORD 

• The holder of DISCORD has by far the most mysterious powers. Unlike the other six ancient powers, the user's powers do not fit with a common theme. In fact, it was not even realized to be a power type, as no one connected the dots with these seemingly incoherent abilities. Users of this power often fret about their abilities, not understanding what they mean or why they have them. 

• It is impossible to describe what the holder of this power can do, as the many components completely differ from person to person. Some rather notable examples of capabilities belonging to this power in the past have included: the power to spread plague, the ability to summon rainstorms, having wings, being able to possess objects like a ghost, mind controlling others, causing plants to grow at will, breathing underwater, and even the ability to cause people to spontaneously combust. This is known as the most dangerous power to have, as the own user generally does not even know everything that they can do.

EXTRA INFORMATION 

• It is a known fact (among those of the supernatural) that only seven holders of these ancient powers can exist at the same time. Humans with other minor powers may exist, but the seven ancient powers are passed on when the previous holders of them die.

• A recent accident involving a plane crash is believed to have something to do with the Seven Ancient Abilities' reappearance. A quite notable plane crash took place the very day before the Seven Ancient Abilities appeared out of nowhere in the new hosts.

• The Circle of Adria is a secret society that has functioned for many years, its original purpose being to protect the Seven Ancient Ability holders. However, as the centuries went on and the world changed before them, their intent soon shifted to using the holders of these powers for the benefit of the world. In fear of being labeled as an occult or an evil organization, they kept their existence unknown from the rest of the world as they searched for the current holders of the Seven Ancient Powers.

• Circle of Adria, being the society in which priority is the chosen seven, made it their duty to quickly take in the recent seven and waste no time in helping them adjust. They were able to find them fairly easily, as although the majority of members are normal humans, they have a fair amount of humans with minor powers.
