"What college are you going to?" Sasuke asked.

Naruto frowned, clenching his jaw, as he didn't want to say his answer, knowing Sasuke would be very mad at him, and a mad Sasuke Uchiha was not a fun Sasuke Uchiha.

"I-I'm not going to college, Sasuke. I think it would be better if I just dropped out, and do what I want. I never really cared much for school" Naruto said, shrugging. 

Sasuke felt a burst of anger surge through him as he had wanted Naruto to get better opportunities, get a well paying job, live out a nice life, and college would help him do that.

"That's not an acceptable answer. I know very well you're smart and creative, Naruto" Sasuke tried to argue, not even attempting to keep his voice down. Lucky for them, no one was home.

"Well what is an acceptable answer, Uchiha? I'm sorry I can't be perfect like you and go to college and be okay with it" Naruto joked. 

Sasuke glared at the blond, wondering why he wasn't seizing the opportunity he was given. Was it because of issues at home? Had it been cause of Naruto not being able to afford the tuition fees?

"Is something wrong at home, Naruto? If it has to do with financial issues I am more then happy to help you, and you could even go to the college I am attending" Sasuke offered. 

Although most would see him as being kind, trying to help out a friend in need, it was a way of getting Naruto closer to him, because he...loved him.

"No! Why would you even think that Sasuke? Do I look as if I have problems at home?" He asked, offended.

"Well how am I suppose to know? You barely talk about your family, when you did you said they were always busy, so forgive me for being concerned with you as a friend" Sasuke retorted. 

Naruto faced Sasuke, burning rage clear in his blue eyes. Sasuke knew he was pushing it beyond the limits with his poking, but he was hurt.

"So you feel bad for me, is that it? My family is wealthy, like yours. We have an image too ya know, and I don't want that for me. I don't want to love the perfect life that is a lie, so I sneak out, to see a boy who loves to look at the night sky. Sorry for wanting a different life" Naruto said, hot tears pooling in his eyes, threatening to spill.

"I don't feel bad for you Naruto, not even a little. I hold up my family reputation for them, not me. I have been through so much because of my family, and at the end of the day I still do what makes them happy. You're selfish for not doing that for your family!" Sasuke shouted at the blond.

"You know what Sasuke, fuck you!" Naruto cursed as he put his leg outside of the window, getting ready to hop out. 

Before Sasuke's mind could catch up to his body, and the realization to sink in, he pulled Naruto's collar towards him, capturing him in a small kiss.

He hadn't ever been so brave before, nor will he ever be, but in his emotional state it seemed like the thing to do.

Naruto tasted like steamy ramen, salty as tears cascaded down his cheeks, some finding their way onto his lips. Before anything else could happen, Naruto pulled away, wiping his lips, and turning away from the raven.

"Goodbye, Sasuke" He whispered, leaving Sasuke alone.
