Sasuke had stared at the stars, like he had when he was in the forest behind his home, although he was no longer in the forest. He was no longer laying on the soft bed of grass, staring straight into the heavens. 

Instead, he was in a room looking out the window at the stars, the sight of other houses and street lights replacing the tall trees and shine of the moon. 

"Where are you, dobe?" He asked softly. 

He had given Naruto his address before he left, telling him to visit at night. Of course that had been a week prior, and Naruto had yet to show. Each night, Sasuke stayed up for as long as possible waiting for him, hoping he would keep his promise.

Crack!

It sounded as if glass was slowly cracking, making Sasuke wonder if something was wrong. Instead, he saw little rocks hitting his window in an endless loop, almost like a cheesy 90s love story. 

A smile graced Sasuke's face, going from ear to ear, as it was Naruto; it had to be.

The raven got up from his bed, walking over to the window. He could see the silhouette of a man, with very blond hair and sparkling blue eyes. He couldn't help but think of the thousand stars above him and those blue eyes as he opened the window.

"It took you long enough" Sasuke sighed as he leaned against the windowsill.

"I'm sorry my dear Sasuke, I had gotten busy, but they shouldn't have worried, as I would never forget thy" He said as if to be poetic. 

Sasuke rolled his eyes as he looked down at the blond. Sadly, his house had 3 stories, and his room was on the 2nd. There would be no way of getting Naruto into his room, easily that is.

"Can you stop being such a failure at romance and help figure out a way to get in here? Or do you want me to get down there? I hope you don't expect the latter, dobe" Sasuke said as quietly as he could so he didn't wake his parents.

"I brought a ladder if that helps" Naruto said, gesturing to the ladder resting against the side. 

Sasuke rolled his eyes, knowing that Naruto had confused latter with ladder, opening the window wider, gesturing for Naruto to bring the ladder up to him.

"I swear if my parents find out about you Naruto, I'll kill you" Sasuke said in a serious tone, although deep down it was a joke. 

Naruto nervously chuckled as he extended the ladder, letting it rest against Sasuke's window.

"I'm coming up, teme" Naruto announced. 

The raven rolled his eyes at how dramatic Naruto was when it came to them, in general. The blond walked up the steps, trying to keep his balance. Thankfully the ladder didn't creak or groan like most ladders, meaning his parents wouldn't hear a single thing.

As soon as Naruto entered Sasuke's room, the two sat on his bed, looking out the window. It felt like old times, where they would stare at the sky, at the stars above them. Something burned deep inside Sasuke, something he had felt once all those years ago, back in the forest.
