My Room! (Described by my Dog)
Hello! For this one I had to write at least a page to describe my room, but I had to do it from an above view or a below view, do I did mine in my dogs POV. And yes, you now know my name.
__________
I ran to the door as I heard the garage door squeak open. It had woken me up from my nap, but I guess that's okay. I whined a little bit and scratched at the door, desperately waiting for it to open. I grew to impatient and I ran around the kitchen, paws clicking on the smooth tile floor where I often search for crumbs. Finally the door opened and one of my owners, Cassie, walked inside. I ran up to her with my short tail wagging and jumped up so that my front paws were on her knees.
"Hey Gillie!" She cooed, bending down and running her hand through my curly off-white colored fur. My tail wagged even faster. I went and sat down a few dog-lengths away from her, and watched as she took off her boots, picked them up and went downstairs. A few moments later I followed. I sprinted down the stairs and turned left into the hallway. The door on the left was the bathroom, and the door on the right was Cassie's bedroom.
I walked in and laid down on the soft carpet. The sweet scent of lavender and honey hit my nose as I watched Cassie put down her backpack and boots, and hang up her coat. The walls of her room were a watery blue, that reminded me of many forced baths, but also of having fun running up and down the beach at Grandma and Grandpa's house, looking for chipmunks to chase.
I think I hear car or something outside, so I quickly get up and run upstairs to the glass door so I can look outside. I don't see anything but snow, but I bark anyways. I soon get bored and go back downstairs to Cassie's room. I don't see her, but I can smell her and I can hear her crunching on some kind of food, which mean she must be in her bed. I sit by her bed for a moment, calculating how high I need to jump to land on the top of her bed. I take a deep breath, then jump.
I land on the bed, but also on top of Cassie's legs that are under the warm and cozy blankets. After Cassie gets home, she usually just gets in her bed and eats and does some strange human stuff. I look up at her whine. The crackers she's eating looks better than my dog food, and I really hope she will give me some. I give her the cutest face I can make, whine a little more, and soon I'm munching on a cracker too. The cracker wasn't as crunchy as my dog food, and it tasted cheesy. I try to get another one, but Cassie ignores me. I gave up and lay by her feet, my back pressing up against her leg.
I scanned the ledge that was above her bed for any other food that might be there, but all I saw was stack of different colored rectangles that open up, like the one that Cassie was looking at now. I don't understand how staring at the inside of one of those for hours could be entertaining, but Cassie seem really interested. I don't see anything else worth eating, so I put my head down and let the blackness take over, while I wait for dreams to entertain my sleep.
