I've read more global books since December ended but I think I actually liked this one best.

I know I ALWAYS say this but...I FEEL LIKE I READ THIS FOREVER AGO. I worried it would be a struggle to read but it was actually written in a very simple style. Nevertheless I think it took me three weeks to read for some reason.

I re-read this for a new book club with my friend. I really love this book, maybe more than The Ickabog. I appreciated it more the second time. Jack and the Christmas Pig are so sweet and real and wonderful.

Sy Montgomery and I would be such wonderful friends.

I got four Heartstopper books for Christmas and finished two in December. They made me remember or even realize why I loved the show: Nick and Charlie are so emotionally mature, so able to communicate, so supportive, so understanding. It's extremely refreshing.

I very randomly got this at the library and I wouldn't consider it a children's book because even I as an adult was a bit bored.
