the distant hum and soft hustle and bustle of airport lingered behind like a silent echo. Due to the curfew being recently opened up there weren't many people moving around in rather silent and not so busy airport of Darjeeling.

there were plenty of people standing in the queue waiting for the boarding procedre through their flight but overall, it was rather a nice peaceful day filled with expectations of another journey back to busy schedules and rushed life.

Abhishek could sense the smell of freshly brewed coffee as his brain proccesed through every hustle and bustle while replaying his conflicting thoughts about how this trip somewhat ended way too early much to his dismay.

his heart began to pound faster than ever, the moment car of the hotel pulled up in the parking lot of the airport . the smell of jet fuel and car exhaust that combined to attack his senses with images of bizzare escapes, and a puncture in his heart somehow felt even more harder than he could ever imagine.

he swallowed the lump that had managed to form in his throat with the thought that it was the end of one of the most beautiful phase of his life, that he managed to live with ' Vritra'. for the first time in his life he could hear his mind and heart saying not to leave .

he believed that maybe Vritra wasn't just a moment. but a lifetime it didn't felt foreign with her even for a second. it was a connection that happened to be there in an instant and there was no turning back.

and now leaving the absolute paradise of seven gorgeous days with the company of someone he surrendered his heart to so easily and effortlessly didn't felt like right amount of Justice done . Vritra yeerth was beautiful not in look, not in what she said but just in what she was.

and Abhishek felt the luckiest man probably who believed that now he knew this woman through her soul and he was fascinated by her. he needed to know all of her, every smallest piece of her soul to be discovered was the need of Abhishek sharma .

the moment Abhishek's fingers entertwined with hers, life started to make sense to him. and her eyes ? damn, those eyes of hers held everything his soul thirsted for. he took the solo trip because The Abhishek Sharma preffered to be alone in moments like these.

lost in his own solitude, he enjoyed his own company away from the chaotic stressful world. but that is why he knew she was different . because for the first time ever he wanted someone's else's company more than his own. it was just the way she made him felt himself.

she was his first.
and by first he didn't meant the first kiss.
neither his first relationship.
nor his first i love you.

she was the first person who made him feel like he was enough .
and the first one to drew memories in his mind he could never erase, as well as painted colours in his heart he could never replace.

he couldn't believe the deep connection he happened to build with Vritra, spending literally each minute in whole week together, and still felt something break inside him knowing they were approaching to the moment of goodbye.

as if it wasn't just enough, she felt like his shade of blue, his fever dream and the future mood. It had been his favourite thing laughing with her and realising half way through how much he enjoyed her and her existence.

In short Vritra Yeerth possessed the ability of steady him and stir him all at once. whenever he looked at her and the way his soul used to sway, and he couldn't help but feel his heart crushing underneath with the thought of leaving made him realise how it all was.

the thought of staying apart from her slowly unsettled him every second, stirred his mind with thousands of the  thoughts about how he could be homesick to the people as well. and it wasn't just a normal person it was Vritra Yeerth.

the girl who had messed up his mind so bad that he couldn't think of anything else besides her. the chain of his thoughts were broken by watching 'her'  walk into his direction with her luggage trailing behind, the white piece of paper as well as the boarding pass clutched between her long slender fingers.

she looked just perfect, the soul that fitted into his. she was a perfect mess of gorgeous destruction and it was present in her deep captivating eyes. Abhishek could easily feel her filling his senses again just the way she has been doing since the day they have met.

they both happened to have their respective flights on the same day or perhaps, the walls of the hotel they stayed in happened to catch so many amazing and mesmerizing memories. that must have haunted either Vritra or Abhishek if any one of them stayed there without each other for a second.

his soul for a second ached to touch her, feel the soft tingle of the skin of her knucles against the tip of his fingers that gave the electric jolt throughout both of their respective bodies.

Abhishek sharma was brutally torned up in savouring and dealing with the endless types of thoughts sparked by his
' Vritra filled mind ' and not able to get it away as far as he tried, because she wasn't someone who just happen to vanish from the mind like she never existed.

the small calm smile that played on her lips literally made his heart hurt about the thought of never seeing her again. There was just something about ' Vritra Yeerth' that he was scared to lose because he knew he wouldn't be able to find it in someone else.

he never ever had any fucking idea that he would get this attached like , that it would become an impossible thought to shift Vritr Yeerth from the base of his mind.

" All excited set to return back to your Starboy life ?". Abhishek's chain of thoughts were broken by Vrita's calm words as her curious eyes peered into his doubtful and conflicted one's. now how could he just tell her that physically he was more than ready to gear up for the exciting cricketing season.

but his stupid heart and brain betrayed him every moment he tried to make the feeling of going his own ways away from her an easy task, his heart and soul gave such a scare to his brain that it almost felt impossible to leave .

how stupid and illogical it all was ? to feel so strongly for someone he met just a week ago and got trapped like this. but somehow finding his voice back he finally managed to return her smile with same calmness and peace that she carried herself, while shoving his hands in the pockets of his black jeans.

" i guess yeah, more than ready basically its just this journey ended way too soon much to my own dismay." the nervous laugh that left from his dry mouth was an attempt to hide the dissapointment in his tone . but Vritra was known to be an observant person and she noticed it more quicker than Abhishek could expected.

the silent trance of the spacious lounge room of the bustling airport outside felt heavier with the tension of both of their unspoken words that neither of them dared to speak at the very moment of departure.

tugging the fallen strand of her hair she cleared her throat and sat down on the chair beside him in complete silence well familiar with the fact that Abhishek's fixed gaze upon her every moment waited for her reply.

" i mean it was a short time we spent together but i can assure you Abhishek it was one of those times i would cherish forver." Her sweaty palms glistening with nervousness reached out to squeeze his warm and dry one's in soft comfort as she gave him a look that held the flicker of hope.

a hope of able to see each other once again and feel the same spark of magic in the depth of their craving hearts.

Abhishek didn't wasted a second or what he didn't knew what kicked inside him but pressing his body weight to the couch and turning in her direction his arms automatically wrapped around her for finding the last glimpse of warm and comfort she was able to provide to his soul.

the way her soft subtle essence possessed him in a spell. his warm grip only tightened around her frame as if one loose hug and she would just dissapear. the simple embrace felt like coming home back again and finding that comfort that would make living worth for.

"Abh- Abhay? you okay?" Vritra gulped by the sheer intensity of the embrace they both tried to not melt into but almost failing in the act of keeping up. her breath gone shaky for a second as for a minute she could feel herself just giving in and lost herself in the moment with this extremely extra ordinary man who was nothing but a whole package of walking surprise.

30 minutes left before the departure of the flight from Darjeeling to Chandigarh. and 50 minutes for the flight to Pune.
time exactly didn't do justice to them but in the given moment seeing their state. those 30 minutes would work more like a medicine.

" I never ever want to stop making memories with you Vritra Yeerth." after what felt like forver Abhishek's low and intense tone happen to whisper like a gentle breeze against her ear, making the given moment even more intimate and heavy than ever before.

with each word escape from his mouth she just clutched her eyes shut her face was pressed against the soft fabric of his warm and comfy sweatshirt her heart beated so faster that she was sure it would jump out of her chest anytime soon.

she finally gave in too weak to care by the flood of emotions and feelings that lingered over them and their minds like a soft breeze but an impact like devastating blizzard evoking tornadoes of torned up feelings in their hearts.

her fingers brushed lightly against the place between his neck and hair, feeling the small hair rose up in impact she felt herself smiling and for Abhishek it felt like walking in the arms of solace and never letting go.

" i wish you knew how much our little talks and our time spend together meant to me, you're literally my favourite person Abhishek."  the gentle caress of Vritra's fingers across his nape of the neck didn't stopped as she tried her best to pour her heart out for him.

" its amusing, stupid even and extremely illogical and idiotic isn't it? how we met just a week ago and are acting like we knew each other since forever." his words were rather light hearted and relaxing but the grip of his on her waist portrayed something else.

Vritra smiled a bit looking down pressing her forehead against his right shoulder as her right hand slowly slid back to cup his cheek the way it fit in her palm felt like it was meant to be. " i have shared my most deepest secrets and emotions with this stranger how come he thinks its easy for me to say goodbye?".

Letting out a shaky breath he found herself completely surrendered to her magical and heavenly touch. leaning more against it his fist clutched the fabric of her white blouse reluctant to let her go.  " look what you did to me Yeerth?" a soft murmur of hot breath fanning against her face and the intense tussle of eye contact send their souls on a fire.

" i dont think i have a hand in anything sharma . you just happen to be way more affected than ever been ?"  brushing a hand through his soft black curls she tilted her head in amusement a small gorgeous smile that held the comfort of whole world.

" it all seemed so perfect but ended... too soon?" he frowned not caring about time. not caring about how he was sitting there in the lounge room of an Airport holding her in his embrace as if she was going to run away. portraying all the emotions in his eyes than he ever did.

" i remember someone complaining about not having the fun of exploring and enjoying the trip to full extent?" vritra finally coming out of the trance detached herself from the extremely intimate hug that send their souls jolting through the impact so severe. that Vritra could still feel the firm grip of his on her waist.

it was the hug they both were sure they were going to remember even while taking their last breaths. and none of them were going to complain.

" your company left such ever lasting effect that now i can't seem to imagine letting you go woman." he also coming in the right state of mind decided to make a bit of space between both of them realising where exactly they were sitting. and papparazi thankfully wasn't the case here.

he didn't wanted any cliche cheesy drama in his life at any cost especially when both him and Vritra were sharing such special moment of cherishing each other's company together. " i am not going to die Abhay trust me always a call away i promise." she chuckled softly looking at his gorgeous eyes a smile so gorgeous that he sure he would have almost said that to her.

" i know woman now i even have access to your house address now i would show up at 3 in the night. if you didn't picked up my calls."  his usually playful demeanor suddenly came back as he threw a wink in Vrita's direction making her roll her eyes and snort.

" focus on your game first mr flirt i would always be there whenever you need me at any hour of the day." she chuckled giving him a silent nod of assurance and understanding. and the air around them again shifted through the series of light hearted conversations and the plans of future approaches.

the way sunlight danced on Abhishek's glowing skin and gorgeous smile, and stardust lived in his eyes. Vritra knew she never wanted to look away. as the time and mintues passed their heart filled with a bittersweet thought of saying goodbye and ending this particular chapter of their story with content smiles.

" Abhishek Sharma for the love of god you are the biggest flirt i have met in my entire life." Vritra rolled her eyes as her cheeks turned as red as hell while the Charming cricketer just laughed in response clearly enjoying all the happiness and happenings before saying goodbye.

" hey i am not flirting i am just funny and you like me." he replied in a rather convincing and proud tone his lips tugging at the corner of a smirk . Vritra narrowing her eyes at him and opened her mouth to retort back an argument but got cut off by the the airport announcement echoing all around the far distance releasing the information.

" Good morning passangers This is the pre- boarding announcement for flight 89B to chandigarh.we are now inviting passangers to begin boarding at this time. please have your boarding pass and identification ready." taking a deep breath as soon as the announcement ended Vritra turned to look at Abhishek and already found him staring at her.

" i am not going to let you get rid of me so easily Yeerth remember that. i am about to be a constant mess in your way too boring and organised life."  a mischievous glint shone in his brown eyes as he chuckled softly looking at the woman he got so close to that it felt really foreign to say Goodbye.

" i would love to see you focusing back to your game sharma considering its more important win matches for your team and be a man in the Cricketing field i wish you the best."  she replied with slight admiration in her eyes wanting to see him achieving his goals and making a name for himself instead of getting distracted here and there.

" as my lady wishes " he chuckled bowing down in her direction dramatically standing near the checkout area. while Vritra rolled her eyes " okay fine dont be a joker Go now" she chuckled softly wrapping her arms across her chest letting out a deep breath.

he straightened up still smiling eyes only fixed upon her before nodding softly with a lingering gaze his whisper echoed for a distant goodbye. and turning around to walk inside until he was dissapeared from her sight.

leaving a trail of gorgeous memories behind, Vritra exhausted both mentally and physically took a deep breath knowing really well their journey was just about to begin it was nothing in comparison to what her and Abhishek were going to witness in future.

and somewhere in there she was more than ready to face it.
