Hannah's pov
"Hi I'm Hannah I'll be your server tonight what can I get you to drink?" I asked the elderly couple with a smile today was Saturday on the weekends starting Friday after school usually I work with my parents at their restaurant as a server my brother works at the country club instead of helping me.

"Two waters with lemon," the woman answered and I wrote it down, and took it to the drink machine where I saw dad. I smiled as I fixed their waters, then I took the water to them with the lemon in a bowl.

"Here you guys go, what can I get started for you?" I asked with a smile.

"Can we get the spinach anichoke dip? To begin with."

"Sure thing," I said writing it down then I looked back up.

"And for the meal we would like a chicken tender platter and a barbecue sandwich. That's it. Bring the dip first of course." The man said, I nodded and took it to the back so dad could start making the order.

Dad made the dip and handed it to me. I walked over to the table and sat it down, "here yall go your meal will be out shortly." I said with a smile and went to sit some people that just walked in.

I grabbed two menus and took them to a table. "We're a little short staffed but take a look at our menu and i will be back." I said as dad yelled the old couples order out. I sat it on the table and they gave me a smile. "Here is your meal enjoy." I said going to the other table.

"We would like two sweet teas, and the lobster dip as a appetizer please," the boy said.

"Of course." I said, writing it down then walked over to dad. "Heres a order for dip," I handed it to him then i fixed their drinks. I grabbed two straws as well I turned around and walked over to the couple and handed them their teas. "Are you ready to order?"

"Yes ma'am." They said.

"Ok great what can I get yall?" I asked grabbing my pen.

"Can i have the mushroom burger with steak fries?" The boy asked.

"Sure thing," I said with a smile writing it down. "And for you?" I looked at the girl.

"Can I have the chicken tender plate with slaw instead of fries please."

"Yes, is there anything else I can get you?" I asked.

"No thanks." They said so I just gave them a nod and walked over to dad mom was at the register. I handed him their order.

"Hey mom I have to use the bathroom can you take over my table or if a customer comes in?" I asked.

"Sure sweetie." She said, with a smile.

"Great thank you." I said taking off my apron and walking to the bathroom. I did my business and washed my hands then fixed my hair a little bit before I walked back out.

I grabbed my apron and put it back on, i saw my tables order and took it to them. "Here you go enjoy." I said with a smile then went to the front to sit down. "Mama can you please make me a strawberry milkshake?" I asked.

"Sure thing sweetheart, coming right up." She said grabbing a cup to make it.

"Great thank you." I gave her a big smile then the door opened. "I got it dont worry." I told her turning around, I saw Grayson Vanessa and Ethan. I grabbed my notepad and walked over to them. "Hey guys, what can I get started for you guys?"

"Hannah you work here?" Ethan asked then looked at the menus i had just handed them.

"Oh yeah I do, its my parents restaurant. I work on the weekends and sometimes we work from home when we have other things to do" i said, "what can I get you?"

"Can we have 3 waters and spinach anicoke dip." Vanessa spoke this time.

"Of course ill put the dip in now," I said, I gave dad the order and fixed 3 glasses of water and took it to them. I walked back over to mom who had my milkshake ready with whip cream and a straw. "Ahh man this looks delicious thank you momma."

"Enjoy dear." I ate the cherry she had also added then took a huge sip of it. I checked my Snapchat and noticed Greyson sent me a snap. I opened it and saw him in the pool.

"Looks like Greyson is taking his break," I said showing mom. I took a picture of my milkshake and sent it to him. I put my phone back in my pocket and grabbed the dip and took it to the table "here you go enjoy." I walked to my other table who was ready for they're check. "I'll be right back with your change."

I rung it up into the register and grabbed their change and took it to them. "Have a good day." I said and walked away. They left I picked up their mess along with a 5 dollar tip. I walked in the back with dad to help with all the dishes so far.

I went to take Grayson and thems order. "Two chicken tender plates and a barbecue sandwich plate. That'll be all." Grayson said so I took their menus and took it to dad to cook. I sat down and continued to drink on my milkshake. It didn't take much longer for me to finish it. I took it to the back and their order was ready as well so I grabbed it and took it to them.

"Here you guys go enjoy." I said with a smile. I walked over to mom.

"Sweetheart its gonna be a long day why don't you take your apron off and your dad fix you something for lunch?" She asked.

"Oh yeah sure." I said taking it off and sitting down. "A hamburger and coke. "

"Do you want fries baby?" Dad asked.

"Um yeah sure." I said as mom fixed my coke.

"Alright coming right up." He said. I grabbed my phone and Greyson had sent me another snap. I didn't open it though I turned my screen off. I was finishing up when Grayson and them were finished so I went to them after i took the last sip of my drink.

"Can I get you anything else guys?" I asked.

"No thank you, just the check." Ethan said whth a small smile.

"Okay," I said grabbing my notepad and ripping their psge out. "Here you go." I handed it to Ethan and he gave me cash.

"Keep the change Hannah." He said as they got up and walked out of the diner. I took it to the register and rung it up then put the left over in the tip jar.

When 8 came around we started to close up, dad was cleaning up the back and mom was counting money, I went to lock the door and turn our sign from open to closed. I took my apron off and hung it up.

"I need to use the bathroom again mom I'll be right back." I said and walked to the bathroom to get sick, I cleaned up a little and used the bathroom I finished then washed my hands I then washed my face. I took a deep breath then walked out of the bathroom.

"Honey you don't look so well, are you alright?" Dad asked with concern in his voice.

"Yeah, I'm just tired, I think I might be catching something." I said lying. I didn't want to tell them just yet before I found out myself if I was pregnant or not i didn't really want to tell anyone just yet.

"Ok I've counted the money, everything is taken care of I think we're ready to go home," mom said and we nodded.

"I'm Okay." We agreed and walked out the door locking the door again then going to the car, we got in and dad drove us home. He parked in the garage and i grabbed my phone and got out of the car.

"Hey imma go take a shower and go to bed love you guys." I said running upstairs to go to my room. I grabbed some pajamas then headed to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I got out and dried off put my pajamas on and brushed my teeth then after my hair was almost dry I put it in two dutch braids.

I walked back to my room and plugged in my phone setting it on the nightstand, I got in the bed and covered up. I turned on the tv and turned on Friends, I got comfortable and it wasn't long before I had fell asleep. I felt nauseous all night though but I never had to get up to get sick again.
