Chapter 5
Namara crept out of her room and walked into the kitchen to see a completely strange woman in the kitchen arguing with Steve. The woman was short, with her hair cut close to her head on one side, the other side dyed dark blue and braided. She had several earrings in, and a hand on her hip.
Namara stayed in the shadows, closing her eyes and concentrating on tuning her ears into their words.
"Steve, I'm sure Willow would love to help. But I'm not sure she can- furthermore, there's a danger of SHIELD tracking Namara and finding out where Willow is."
"Listen, we need to help her figure out where's she from. She doesn't act like Bucky did, she isn't confused, almost like her memories aren't real, but she does have them."
"I'll talk to Willow."
"Thanks Lulu."
The green haired women opened the door and pranced out, slamming it behind her. Before anyone could see her, Namara began running back to her room. Her footsteps still not making a sound. What did Steve mean her memories were fake? They couldn't be! She remembered Jess, who was her best friends and trapeze partner. Namara remembered ice skating, the cold ice bruised her shins every time she fell. She still had the scars on her hands from cutting herself on the trapeze bar, she still had the scar on her leg from the time she fell and cut herself on her skate. Those couldn't be fake, they were real.
