"I know you have been trying to ignore me." I expressed to Eleanor as we walked Central Park. I had met her their on my way home from class even though she had been very reluctant to talk to me.

"What do you want me to say Harry? I don't even know what I'm supposed to say ya know?" Eleanor told me adjusting her faux leather black backpack. She had like me just came for class and was headed home before I asked her to meet me here.

"I understand what you think you saw, but trust me it's all a big misunderstanding..." I tried looking down at our feet that walked in sync. Her red high top Converse so tiny next to my black ones. Her hair was tied into a high ponytail, so I could better see her expressions.

"She kissed me, I tried to tell her I was with someone else and she came on to me." I explained to her, watching her move her gaze from her feet to me. Those honey brown eyes full of confusion as he shook her head not knowing what to believe.

"Harry... I want to believe you, I really do but... Part of me knows you. It's just really hard to fully trust you." Eleanor admitted sighing deeply as she flashed me those honey brown eyes that made me melt from the inside out.

"I know I have shown everyone in the past I am not trustworthy but I promise you that I have changed. I really really like you Len and I don't want to lose you again." I told her stopping to grab both her hands while she stood across from me. She loosely held my hands in hers while she looked down at them, taking in a heavy breath. I could tell she was trying to sort out her thoughts on her head while she stalled on saying anything back. "I want you to be with me Len."

"Do you mean that? I don't want to be the girl of the month Harry... I'm so scared to put myself out their again because I don't want to get hurt. I'm terrified of being hurt by you..." Eleanor opened up still keeping her gaze in our hands that were down by our waists as I still held hers in mine.

"I don't want you to be afraid of me. I would never hurt you Eleanor, never in a million years. I'm truly sorry that you had to see that cheerleader all over me. I never meant for that to happen and I just want you to know it meant nothing and she means nothing to me. You're all that matters to me." I tilted her chin up for her eyes to land on me once again. Her cheeks were flushed a rosy pink from the cold autumn air that dropped in temperature. Fall was fading into winter with slow drops in temperatures and leaves that fell over the dead grass.

"You know I missed talking to you." She gave an airy laugh grinning at me while I moved into her lips. Our bodies moving up against each other as I planted my lips on hers with ease.

She was so delicate and dainty to me, she was like a flower. She didn't understand how beautiful she was to me. She encased everything I ever wanted in someone and there was no way in hell I would screw this up.

"I missed you coming over for movies. I had to watch them with Liam and he fell asleep most of the time." I complained giving her a grin once we both came away from the kiss.

"Well now that won't be a problem." She shrugged as we continued to walk through the park that was more colorful this time of year. Red and orange coloring over all the leaves that had fallen from the trees. The air fresh and crisp as I walked hand in hand with Len.

"I bet I could beat you in a race!" Eleanor said coming up with a random dare while we strolled under the red leaf trees.

"You want to test that theory?" I asked her turning my gaze to her beautiful smile that lit up her entire face.

"Race you to the tree!" Her hand slipped right out of mine while she ran in a mad dash, her red converse running over the pavement.

Taking off after her I felt my backpack jostle around on my back as I came up right behind Len and swept her off her feet. She squealed in delight as I took her into me and threw her over my shoulders.

"You are cheating!" She squealed as I spun her around. "Harry!" She laughed when I hauled her body off my shoulder and into my arms, pressing another kiss to her.

"Praise the lord!" I heard Liam shout as I came in to hearing baby crying. Liam doing what he could while rocking the baby came towards me as I dropped my backpack to the floor by the door.

"What's wrong with him?" I asked Liam while he came over to me and passed off the baby who was clearly in a distressed state.

"I've tried everything! He won't eat, he's got a clean diaper, he doesn't have gas, he won't sleep..." Liam rambled on while I rested him up by my shoulder to pat his back and hopefully calm him down.

"How long has he been like this?" I questioned bouncing him since running his back didn't seem to help much.

"Ever since we woke up from his nap a few hours ago. Was he fussy this morning?" Liam asked me while I tried to play with him. Raising him into the air I brought him back down and kissed his nose to see if I could cheer him up.

"A little more then normal, he's not a morning baby by any means but this morning he was a little fussier." I thought back to when he had woken up in a more cranky mood. Asher for the most part was a happy baby aside from when his separation anxiety got the best of him.

"Maybe he's not feeling well..." Liam suggested while I laid him back in my chest to hear him moan and whimper onto my shirt while he gripped onto me tightly.

"Are you sick buddy?" I asked him as he coughed from his crying. His nose running as he nuzzled himself into my t-shirt and whimpered.

Making my way to the kitchen I pulled out a thermometer to see if Asher had an elevated temperature. This would give light to if he had a fever or not.

"How does this work? Do you put it in their mouth?" I turned to Liam for a little light on the subject. I knew for adults you inserted the thermometer through the mouth but I wasn't sure if it were the same for babies.

"Ummmm.... let me ask Google." Liam pointed to his phone that sat on the table, quickly taking it and asking how to take a baby's temperature. "Ummm Harry..."

"What?" I wasn't liking the sound of Liam's tone when he said my name, that could only m an something bad.

"You have to put it up his bum..." Liam gave a nervous smile causing me to look down at Asher who was already unsettled.

"No." I said shaking my head.

"Yes." Liam nodded his head looking down at his phone to finish up reading whatever he was being informed by. "You could do the armpit but it isn't accurate."

"I can't do that to him..." I trailed already seeing that he obviously wasn't feeling well. I didn't want to make him even more uncomfortable then he already was.

"Harry you have to, if he has a temperature of 100.3 or higher he's got a fever. We... or should I say you need to check it." Liam informed me slipping his phone into his pocket while I stood nervous to do this.

"Oh god!" I breathed in heavily sweating from the anxiety building up about the situation. I was nervous Asher was really sick, not only that but I was nervous to take his temperature. Hearing him whine I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, collecting myself for a brief second before I went into my bedroom. I could feel and head Liam following me while I laid Asher onto his changing table, not liking the lack of my body contact he kicked in frustration.

"It's okay buddy, let's get this done real quick." I nodded rubbing his stomach to help soothe him a little.

Unzipping Asher's long sleeved jumper that he had slept in last night his face scrunched up as I stripped away his clothing. Down to his diaper I ripped off the tabs and slid it out from underneath him, now completely exposed he held his breath for a good 5 seconds.

"It's okay baby, just breathe, your going to be okay." I soothes taking the thermometer from Liam who told me to take it out of his bum as soon as it beeped.

"Just relax little man.." I said lifting up his legs his his feet and inserting the thermometer just to hear Asher begin to scream from the discomfort. His body tensing up from having something inserted up inside his bum. Waiting for the little beep I began to see a shot of pee begin to shoot up from Asher.

"Oh shit!" Liam swore seeing Asher begin to pee on himself making everything that much worse. Hearing that beep was like hearing Christmas bells, pulling the thermometer out I scanned over the reading.

"100.1 degrees." I said out loud as Liam tried to wipe the pee that Asher had gotten on himself. I looked over at Asher who was being cleaned by Liam. Picking up his naked body I decided to run a luke- warm bath to help bring down the fever.

"Poor kid." Liam frowned while we waited for the bath to fill up. I held Asher to my chest, soothing him as I talked to him, telling him I was sorry. I hate inflicting anything on Asher and felt bad that it was necessary to do what I did.

"I know, I wish I could take it all away." I frowned setting Asher in the bath, seeing him calm down. Wiggling around in the bath when I set him in the bathing chair I rung out a wash cloth over his stomach to drip the warm water across his body.

"I'm sorry little guy! I know you don't feel very good." I spoke to Asher who was soothing himself in the water as I ran some soap through his hair and body.

"It's no fun to not only get a stick up your bum but also in the process give yourself a golden shower." Liam shook his head while he sat on the closed toilet seat. I agreed and thought about what I could do to ease Asher's pain. I knew there wasn't many options when it came to medications due to him being under the age of 6 months.

While I bathed and soothed Asher, Liam went to work on educating us both on what we could do for Asher. Most medications weren't an option due to his age which meant we needed to do what we could to make him feel as comfortably as possible. However if the fever got to 103 we were informed to take the baby to the hospital.

"It says he just needs to drink as much fluid as possible." Liam told me as I picked up Asher who was wet and naked until Liam took him into a towel before handing him back to me.

"Has he been eating alright for you?" I questioned thinking it would be a bit tough if Asher didn't express interest in food.

"Not really. He's been fussy and not real interested when I tried to feed him." Liam explained as I lathered my baby in lotion before strapping a diaper on him. Asher wasn't the type of baby to like being naked, his clothing helped him to feel secure.

"Maybe we can try a bottle one more time." I suggested zipping up a navy and white stripped hooded onsie. Taking him into my arms I pressed a binkey into his mouth while he instantly took it, his eyes droopy as I laid comfortably in my arms.

His breathing steadying out as I came into the kitchen where Liam was shaking up Asher bottle.

"Aw mate he's exhausted, look." Liam gestured to Asher who was nuzzled up into my arms soundly asleep.

"Lets, let him sleep for a bit." I agreed making my way to the couch where I laid across taking up the entire space. Situating Asher on top of my chest he quickly adjusted as my own eyes began to close. I was tired as well even though it was only moving into the early part of the evening, Louis would be home anytime now.

Feeling a wave of comfort I closed my eyes feeling Asher's heart beat against my chest. It was soothing to me as I drifted off easily.

note// I love Eleanor and Harry's relationship! I feel like friends since diapers is a cute love story just saying!
