it was 2am at the hospital and hyunjoo layed her head on the tiny table of the nurses' kitchen. right then she was the only nurse on the station and most of the patients were asleep, so she had decided to take a short break as well.

after a few minutes had went by in silence, there was a noise in the hallway. sleepily hyunjoo sat up again and blinked a few times. in the dim light she could recognize the outlines of a slender, male figure.

hyunjoo gathered her thoughts and quietly spoke up. "do you need anything?" it sounded irrational, but it was the first thing that had come to her mind. 

the other just shook his head and hyunjoo managed to catch a glimpse at his face; it was jung jaewon. "do you want a cup of... tea or anything?"

this time he nodded, so the nurse stood up in order to heat some water. with the mug in her hand she turned around to jaewon again. "you can wait in your room and i'll bring it to you or just stay here."

still he didn't reply, but simply sat down at the table.

while waiting for the water to boil, hyunjoo leaned against the counter and watched how the long haired boy stared out of the window and into the night. no matter for how long she looked at him, she was amazed.

"you're not like them." jaewon seemed to be surprised over the sound of his own voice and so was hyunjoo.

"like who?" the other nurses said, that he doesn't speak. although she was awfully confused, she didn't want to mess it up too bad.

"the other nurses."

hyunjoo was completly overwhelmed, but tried to stay calm. "why do you think so?"
this situation was hard handle, since she didn't know anything about jaewon or why he was at the hospital.

"you have a kind heart." his voice was barely louder than a whisper. after saying that he remained quiet, so hyunjoo just gave him a quick smile.

he drank his cup of tea and she sat across from him at the table, trying to study his features, while not being too obvious.

later he went back to his room, leaving the girl even more confused and curious than she had been before.
