author note: it's valentines day at camp half-blood!! enjoy this short chapter, happy valentines day everyone! (small spoiler for the last olympian) (also, this is not part of what is currently happening just wanted a short story for valentines day.)

3rd person pov (nico's pov)

     it was valentines day, and every year at camp half-blood they throw a Valentine's day dance, and now nico has to figure out a way to ask will out since will requested that he did.

     nico had been thinking all day and still hadn't come up with a way to ask, he thought of giving will a card but thought that was a bad idea, he thought of just asking flat out but he felt like will would want more than that.

     "asking someone to a dance is hard." nico said to himself.

     then ben came into the cabin, he closed the door and sighed.

     "asking someone out was a lot easier than I thought it would be." ben said.

     "who'd you ask out?" nico asked intrigued.

     "no one." ben lied, just realizing his brother was in the room.

     "you know I'm going to see you with them at the dance right?" nico asked, "why not just tell me?"

     "fine." ben replied, "it's Lilly."

     "will's younger sister?" nico asked, confirming what he heard was right.

     "yep." ben answered, "and she said yes!"

     "good luck." nico told ben.

     "With what?" ben asked.

     "Will told me if anyone asked Lilly out that he would break all the bones in their body." nico answered.

     "I'm not scared of will." ben replied.

     "you should be." nico responded.

3rd person pov (Lilly's pov)

     Lilly was filled with joy, her crush had just asked her out, and she couldn't wait to tell her siblings!

     "it happened!" Lilly exclaimed bursting into the apollo cabin.

     "What did?" will asked.

     "my crush asked me out!" Lilly answered.

     "What?!" will exclaimed.

     "that's awesome!" Kayla exclaimed.

     "congrats sis." Austin told Lilly.

     "Who?!" will asked, lilly rolled her eyes at will's overprotectiveness.

     "Promise you won't attack them?" Lilly asked crossing her arms.

     "I can't promise anything." will answered truthfully.

     "Will..." Lilly said.

     "Alright, I won't hurt your crush," will replied, "unless they hurt you first."

     "deal." Lilly agreed.

     "so who is it?" Kayla asked interested.

     "ben." Lilly answered, her smile widening.

     "ben?" will asked, "nico's brother?"

     "yep!" Lilly answered. 

     "Okay." will replied, "he's a nice kid."

3rd person pov (Percy's pov)

     percy had thought of the perfect way to ask annabeth out, he made his way to the athena cabin happily, he then knocked on the door,

     "hey, seaweed brain." annabeth greeted.

     "hey wise girl," percy replied, "follow me."

     percy then led annabeth to the lake, he grabbed her hand and pulled her under, he brought her to the bottom of the lake, in the sand was written, 'will you go to the dance with me wise girl?' annabeth shook her head yes and kissed percy, it was the second best underwater kiss every.

3rd person pov (will's pov)

     will was in the infirmary when nico enter he had a guitar.

     "what are you doing?" will asked his boyfriend.

     "something ill probably regret." nico answered, he then started singing will's favorite song, 'you belong with me.'   from taylor swift.

     "Will you go to the dance with me, will?" nico asked when the song ended.

     will stood up and walked to his boyfriend he grabbed his cheeks, which were red from embarrassment, "yes, nico, I will."

time change...

1st person pov (nico's pov)

     it was time for the dance, it was being held in the big house. I made my way to the apollo cabin to pick up will, when I arrived there I knocked on the door, and will answered.

     "ready?" I asked him.

     will bowed, "why of course my lord."

     "don't do that." I told him, I hate it when he does this.

     "Whatever you say," Will said, "my lord."

     I rolled my eyes and we started making our way to the big house.

1st person pov (ben's pov)

     I knocked on the apollo cabin door and Austin answered.

     "is Lilly ready?" I asked.

     "yep," Austin answered, "Lilly! your date is here!"

     "Austin!" I heard Lilly exclaim, "close the door."

     Austin did as he was told, seconds later Lilly opened the door.

     "let's go," Lilly told me, we then walked to the big house.

1st person pov (Percy's pov)

     I walked over to the athena cabin, I knocked on the door and Annabeth answered, she was wearing a blue dress, she looked beautiful.

     "ready to go wise girl?" I asked.

     "of course." annabeth answered.

     we then walked to the big house.

1st person pov (nico's pov)

     we walked into the big house, there was pink hearts on the wall, and pink lights on the ceiling.

     "it's so pink," I said.

     "that's because it's a valentines day dance, neeks." will replied.

     "don't call me neeks!" I told him.

       "fine." will said.

     we then went on the dance floor and danced the night away, after the dance ended I dropped Will off at his cabin and went into mine, I climbed into bed and went off to sleep.
