trigger warnings:

1st person pov (Nico's pov)

     the tension was high, but there was a good reason for it to be. every single mythical creature that wasn't ten got taken from camp, we got trapped in a warehouse, none of us were able to see what warehouse we were trapped in, the room was super bright so then incase the demigod magic blocker bracelets broke, none of the children of hades could shadow travel away. the door was locked and burned anyone who tried to open it.

     we were all worried about the ten-year-olds, "why did it only take us? why not the ten-year-olds?"  I thought to myself, "If I know those kids they'll be trying to save us, but will they be able to?"

     suddenly I heard the banging noise again.

     "not again." I said to myself, "it's back! everyone down!"

     all the people who were awake got down on the floor and laid down, then everything went dark...

time change...

1st person pov (emerald's pov)

     in all honestly, I don't like fighting, it's gross and I could break a nail or something, but this 'it' took my siblings, and no one messes with my siblings.

     we were in the athena cabin, and we had just finished coming up with a foolproof plan, but in case plan A failed, we came up with three other plans. we went to the big house and grabbed all our weapons, we decided that it was late, and as much as we want to save them right now, we needed to be fully awake to do it, and with that we headed to bed, fearing for what was ahead of us.

time change...

1st person pov (Julia's pov)

     we all woke up at four in the morning, ate a healthy breakfast, and got in the van to go save our siblings.

     "We didn't think something through," Lilly said, "none of us know how to drive, or even can drive, how are we supposed to get to the warehouse?"

     "with him." ben replied, he bent down to the ground, and suddenly a skeleton butler rose from the ground, "Jules-Albert, take us to the warehouse, 'demigod's help' please."

     the dead driver, named Jules-Albert, got in the front seat, suddenly everyone got in the van telling ben, 'great job!", the van then started driving, here we come, I hope 'it' is ready, because 'it' made the wrong choice to mess with us!

time change...

1st person pov (tide's pov)

     after we hit the road everyone demigod started getting bored after around ten minutes, I guess that's what happens when you're ADHD and stuck in a car for three hours, yep you read that right, we're going to be stuck in this van for three hours straight. 

     we turned on the radio and started screaming the songs at the top of our lungs, I turned to ben.

     "Are you sure this isn't going to annoy Jules-Albert?" I asked.

     "I'm sure." ben answered, "if he doesn't like the noise he'll just take off his earbones, simple as that."

     "Really?" I asked surprised.

     "Really." ben answered.

     "wow," I said, I then started screaming- I mean singing, with everyone else.

     "SWEET CAROLINE, BUM BUM BUM!" we were singing, "GOOD TIMES NEVER FEEL SO GOOD!"

     "SO GOOD!" buster screamed as a solo

     "SO GOOD" Jacob screamed

     "SO GOOD," Tyler screamed

     believe it or not, almos was sleeping through this all, ill never know how he can do this, but the one thing I knew, this was going to be a long trip, an awesome, but long trip.

time change...

1st person pov (Kathrine's pov)

     listen, I love singing as much as the next demigod when we're bored, but jeez, do we have to sing for this long?! I wish I were Jules-Albert right now, he took off his ear bones a while ago and sighed in relief.

     we were now listening to the song 'la de de' by Cody Simpson, and everyone was still screaming.

     "Can we please stop screaming?" I asked, "We need to save our voice's so we can call the codes we came up with."

     "you're right, I guess." tide agreed.

     we then all started playing mythomaniac which ben was wise to bring.

time change...

1st person pov (Tyler's pov)

     we had played over thirty rounds of mythomagic, ben won every round.

     "that's not fair!" I exclaimed, "how do you win every single round?"

     "I don't know," ben answered, "I guess I just do."

     we then delt the next game and continued playing.

time change...

1st person pov (Jacob's pov)

     thirty more minutes, just thirty more minutes until we're free from this van.

     tyler and I were seeing how many things we could stick in almos nose when we jumped awake, we got five pencils, wow he has a giant nostril.

     "I'm going to kill you!" almos yelled, grabbing the pencils out of his nose, luckily ben grabbed almos before he could anything.

time change...

1st person pov (buster's pov)

     twenty minutes left, and then we save our siblings, I couldn't wait to get out of the van, I have to pee!!! three hours in a van without peeing is not good!! I've had to pee for the last hour but haven't talked about it because I don't want people to give me attention. just twenty more minutes.

time change...

1st person pov (almos' pov)

     I was so tired, but I know I couldn't sleep, only ten minutes away from the warehouse and we had to save our siblings, I was a big part of the plan, which I'm very nervous about by the way, and when I'm nervous I like to sleep. but there was no time to sleep now because he have arrived.

     we got out of the van and jules-alberet sank back into the ground. we huddled up and gave one big group hug, then ben and I walked into the building.

     ben looked at me and put on the gas mask Jacob made for him. I lifted my hands and smoke started spewing out of them, I hope this sleeping gas Clovis taught me works, seconds later the whole building was filled with the sleep smoke, it's go time.

time change...

1st person pov (Percy's pov)

     everyone in the room this time had woken up luckily, we were sitting around when suddenly we saw a purple glow under the door.

     "is that?" Clovis spoke, he then gasped, "it is!"

     "what is it?" I asked him.

     "It's sleeping gas, the kids are here!" Clovis answered terrified.

     "sleeping gas?" annabeth questioned.

     "I learned that I could create a gas that makes everyone around me sleep for around two hours, I've tried teaching it to almos but sometimes his powers go haywire, especially when he's nervous." Clovis explained.

     "so were all going to be knocked out by your farts?" leo joked, "you two are the definition of silent but deadly."

     everyone just stared at him.

     "you all need gas masks to stay away!" Clovis exclaimed.

     "you got it." leo said, pulling out a bunch of gas masks for everyone from his toolbelt.

     'you kids better be safe.' I thought to myself.

change of pov...

1st person pov (clarabelle's pov)

     ben ran out of the building and gave us the all-clear, we put on our gas masks and ran into the building, we split up into three different teams, my team had, me, Kathrine, buster, and tide. 

     we ran down the left corridor and started trying to open doors, swords at the ready. suddenly a giant monster appeared from around the corner, it was at least ten feet tall, and it was orange with black horns and eyes. its teeth sharp, it charged at us, but not at full speed, the gas must be working! buster and I ran forwards and stabbed the monster with our swords, it dispersed in yellow dust.

     "come on," I told them, and we went back to opening the doors.

     "It's pointless." Kathrine said, "there are so many doors here, how are we supposed to find them all?"

     "We can't give up hope Kathrine," tide told her, "if we do then we will never find them, but you can't think like that, you have to believe we'll find them, and we will."

     Kathrine nodded her head, "you're right," she agreed, she then got a determined look in her eyes, "let's do this."

     we then went back to opening every single door we saw.

change of pov...

1st person pov (Lilly's pov)

     I was part of team two, along with, Julia, emerald, and Tyler. we ran down the right corridor, there were only a couple of doors, we opened them all and found nothing, we turned right and saw a bunch of doors, at the end of the hall there was a purple monster, with huge teeth, its eyes were closed but we could see its blue horns, it was leaning against the wall, almos's gas worked!

     we kept opening doors, and at the end of the hall we opened the door, lying on the ground was our camp director, Dionysus, the god of alcohol.

     we ran to him, but he was asleep, apparently, almos's gas worked on gods too, Dionysus had purple-colored cuffs on his wrists.

     "I got this." Tyler said, he bent down next to Mr d and started picking the locks on his cuffs, "I got it!"

     Mr d's cuffs fell to the ground, his eyes fluttered open.

     "byler? what are you doing here?" Mr d asked.

     "It's Tyler," Tyler replied, "and we're here to save you and everyone else."

     "Oh." Mr d said.

     he was out of it, obviously, almos's gas is still at work. Mr d's eyes closed again and Tyler picked him up.

     "let's try to find the others," Julia said.

     "but what if we run into a trap?" emerald asked, "they said this 'it' is smart and strong. what if we run into 'it'?"

      "it'll be fine." Julia answered, "we can just fight if we do."

     "if you say so." emerald replied, I could sense her worries, I know she doesn't like fighting, it scares her.

time change...

1st person pov (ben's pov)

     I was on team three with, Jacob and almos, we went straight down the hall, we tried opening the doors, all were empty, suddenly the corridor was shaking, we leaned against the walls trying not to fall.

     "What is happening?" Jacob asked.

     "I'm not sure!" I answered, "earthquake?"

     "it's not an earthquake." almos told us, "it's something huge, I feel it in my sleep gas, it's somehow not being affected by it!"

     "How is that possible?" I asked.

     "I'm not sure!" almos exclaimed, "but it's getting close, and it's strong!"

     "do you think the thing is 'it'?" Jacob asked worriedly.

     "I'm not sure." almos replied, "it's coming around the corner in, 3, 2, 1!"

     suddenly a twenty feet tall titan, with orange skin, bright red eyes, had black hair, it was a titan we'd never seen or heard about before. it was staring at us, eyes murderous.

     we stared at it, Jacob looked terrified, but he had a reason to be, this thing in front of us was terrifying, I raised my sword from the ground and pointed it at the titan.

     "Where is our family!" I yelled.

     the titan didn't reply, it ran after us, I ran towards it, ready to stab it with my sword.

     "no don't!" almos exclaimed, "only a god and a demigod can kill a titan! you can't do it alone!"

     I didn't listen, I stabbed the titan but my sword barely even made a dent, I stared in horror at the beast, it bent down and picked me up, making me drop my sword.

     "Ben!" Jacob yelled.

     the titan then started running away, with me in its grasp, I guess they're going to have to go to plan B.

time change...

1st person pov (Nico's pov) 

     leo had just tried opening the door keeping us trapped since he could control fire without being burned, so we thought that it would stop the door from burning him, too bad we were wrong. although it was funny watching him pull his hand away in pain, it's payback from all the times he hurt us with his fire.

     will was wrapping up Leo's hands, and everyone else was just sitting down, then we heard screaming.

     "Ben!" I recognized it as the voice of Jacob, one of Leo's younger brothers.

     "Jacob?" leo asked worriedly.

     "he was screaming for ben!" I replied, "do you think they're okay?"

     suddenly there was a voice right outside the door.

     "ow!" a voice exclaimed, she sounded like Kathrine, "why is this door so hot?"

     "whos out there?" Percy asked.

     "they're in here!" Kathrine yelled, "Percy! we're going to get you all out of there, we found Mr d but he's asleep from the gas, how are you all awake?"

     "Leo made our gas masks." Percy answered, "listen, you all need to get out of here, it's not safe."

     "not a chance." tide spoke, "now stand back, I'm going to throw water on the door to cool it down."

     suddenly we heard a splash and water spilled under the door, suddenly it swung open.

     the ten-year-olds rushed in, I saw everyone but... ben, where's ben.

     "Lilly?" I asked her, "wheres ben?"

     Lilly's eyes were starting to swell with tears, "a titan got him, we don't know where the titan took him, but we had to continue with the plan, but now we can save him! but we need to wake Dionysus somehow."

     I looked at will who stared at me, "we'll save ben, I promise lilly."

time change...

1st person pov (ben's pov)

     it was getting hard to breathe. the titan had a strong grip on me, it was squeezing my lungs. I'm wondering if this was the 'it' nico and everyone else were talking about.

     "where is he taking me?" I wondered inside my brain.

     I just hope everyone is safe, suddenly almos purple smoke disappeared, and I smiled at the message.

5 hours earlier

     "if almos finds them first when he'll call off smoke, if any of you finds them first, then shoot this." I handed them all flairs. "but only, when you find them."

back to the present time.

     the titan turned right, it was taking me to the doors of the warehouse, I tried pushing myself out of the titan grips, but the titan only squeezed tighter. I sighed in annoyance. the titian bursted through the front doors. it started running down the street.

     "I wonder what the mortals are seeing," I thought to myself.

      I heard pounding from behind me, turned my head to look and I saw a hoard of demigods running behind us, no, not just demigods, every single person at camp was behind, all the dryads and satyrs. Chiron had Mr d on his back since Mr d was still knocked out, most likely from almos's gas, hehe gas.

     the titian started speeding up, i ended up swallowing a bug.

     "where are you taking me?" I asked the titian, tired of being in the dark about the situation.

     the titan just stared at me, and he started staring back in front of him. he was starting to get farther away from the campers.

     I honestly don't know what's going to happen...am I going to die? will I be saved?

     suddenly, my dad, the greek god hades, appeared right in front of the titan, he wasn't really there, just an image.

     "let go of my son." my dad said, he had the same glare as nico, that must be where nico got it from.

     the titan just stomped on the image of my dad and kept running, suddenly Dionysus jumped awake, and he flew over to me.

     "ven!" Dionysus yelled, "kill him!"

     "How?!" I asked, "in case you couldn't notice I'm a little trapped right now, and im not close enough to the ground to get my sword!"

     "says who?" Dionysus questioned.

     "I'm not strong enough yet!" I argued, "not even hazel can do that!"

     "you're stronger than hazel" Dionysus snapped.

     "no im not," I told him      

     "Just try it will you!" Dionysus yelled.

     I pointed my hand toward the ground, and suddenly my sword came right up, "what?!" I said shocked.

     "I told you!"

     Dionysus made grape vines wrap all around the titan, I stabbed the titan in the hand making him let go of me, instead of falling to my death I used my fire powers and pushed myself upwards, I then stabbed the titan in the neck making it bleed a golden blood, the titan swatted at me but missed. I stabbed it on the other side of its neck and it tried swatting at me again, luckily missing, Dionysus made the vines wrap more around the titan and I stepped it at the top of its chest and pulling my sword down, it sliced open the titans chest and the titan evaporated in thin air, I then lost consciousness, I used to much power, I then fell to the ground, twenty feet away from me...

time change...(same pov)

     I woke up on a soft bed. I looked to my right and saw nico asleep in a chair, next to him in another chair was will who was sleeping peacefully, hazel and Cathrine were on my left. I saw lilly sitting in front of my bed asleep. suddenly her blue eyes fluttered open, she stood up and stared at me.

     "he's up!" lilly exclaimed, suddenly everyone that was sleeping around me woke up, "don't ever scare us like that again!"

     lilly hit me in the arm and then walked out with her arms crossed.

     "What was that for?" I asked nico.

     nico had a strange expression on his face, he looked... relieved.

     "you almost didn't wake up." nico told me, "we all felt your life force draining, lilly was just worried."

     "We all were." Catherine said, "I agree with the blonde girl, don't ever do that again."

     "I won't try to," I told Catherine.

     "Good," Cathrine replied, "I have to head back now, see you soon kid."

     Cathrine ruffled my red hair, which she knows I hate! she then walked out.

     suddenly I was engulfed in a hug by hazel, "you and nico are too similar! you both get in too much danger!"

     "hey! that is not true!" nico protested.

     "shh," will calmed, "it's true, but that's okay."

     nico crossed his arms.

     "it is not." nico grumbled.

     hazel grabbed my face with her hands, "I have to go back to camp Jupiter now, but please promise me you will try to stay safe."

     "I promise," I replied.

     she then hugged me again, "I love you ben."

     hazel then left and I saw frank turn into a dragon and carry her away, now it was just nico, will and I left in the room.

     will handed me an apple, "here, eat this. it will help you get back some of your strength."

     "thank you," I told him grabbing the apple and scarfing it down, will then kissed nico on the forehead and walked out.

     "you have something on your mind," I told nico.

     "you're real dumb you know that?" nico asked, "you and the rest of the ten-year-olds."

     I stared out the infirmary window, I saw everyone hanging out and laughing, I smiled at the sight. I love camp half-blood.
