author note: I totally forgot to put this in the last chapter but I have a headcanon that nico can speak hellhound like Percy can speak horse, hope that clears it up!

3rd person pov

     when nico woke up that morning he felt sick, his head was spinning, his stomach turning, he sat up groggily and walked out of his cabin, he ran into will on the way to the dining hall.

     "hey, sweetheart." will greeted.

     "hi." nico said misberly.

     will noticed nico's tone and got worried immediately, will turned to his boyfriend, "are you okay? you sound terrible."

     "I'm fine will." nico said.

     "no your not, your coming to the infirmary." will ordered.

     "no, no I'm not." nico said, we then passed out with will catching him, Jason, Percy, Leo, and Annabeth ran over.

     "will! what happened?" Annabeth exclaimed.

     jason picked up nico and started carrying him toward the infirmary.

     "I don't know! I said hi to him he said it back, he sound terrible so when I tried taking him to the infirmary he just passed out." will explained frantically.

     will walked into the infirmary and went straight towards nico, who was lying on a cot, will touched his hand to nico's forehead, will pulled his hand away.

     "It's freezing," Will said, "we need to get blankets."

     Percy, Jason, Leo, and Annabeth nodded and rushed out, will stood at his boyfriend, worry all over will's face.

     "come on nice, don't leave me, not like this, please, don't leave me." will pleaded.

     will got to his knees and hugged his boyfriend, he pulled away from the hug and looked at the sky.

     "Please father, help heal nico, please." will said.

     a yellow light then surrounded nico, will had to look away for it was too bright, when the light disappeared will turned towards his boyfriend and nico's eyes fluttered open.

     "thank you father," Will said, "nico! your okay!"

     will dove into a hug straight away and nico didn't fight it.

     "I told you I would be," nico replied.

     the others all came in holding over a thousand blankets.

     "nico!" Percy screamed, he pulled him into a hug, "don't you ever scare us like that, you understand?"

     "I understand." nico said.

     will then force them to leave for nico needed rest.
